Amazing customer service and pricing are not bad. Recommended stopping in it if you are in Seaside, Oregon. Fast service. Cozy vibe. Coffee cake and the Scones are a great choice!

Cute little coffee shop on the main street in Seaside. Fast and friendly service. Lots of great drinks and some pretty good pastries as well. Reasonable prices and just a short walk to the beach with your coffee

Looking for an early morning americano and a pastry, I stopped in here to get both. The iced americano was good but the plain croissant I bought was hard and not very edible (I threw more than half of it away because I couldn't eat it). If I'd still been in the area, I'd have taken it back but I had already left the shop. The staff were polite, there was lots of available seating including at the counter looking out on the street, and service was fast. Maybe my horrible plain croissant was a fluke so giving them the benefit of the doubt, if I'm ever back in the area, I'd go there again.

Decent coffee on the main strip in seaside. While other shops were closed early am, we found this one open. I did ask for an iced white mocha and received a hot one. Wasn't the worse, but wish they got my order right. Cute shop and the baristas were friendly. We got their coffee cake to munch on and super good. They had other treats as well. Decently priced for tourist area.

The coffee is good, the waitress is the worst ever. I just hated this racism here from the waitress. Just felt the hate in her voice. Hate this place for her

This was a cool little coffee shop, was on our way back to our VRBO and got a Cherry Italian Soda and tasted pretty awesome and the staff was super friendly to us as well. I'd go back to try different drinks.

Beach Day Coffee was a super cute little beach themed cafe! I love it so much. Food: This place is also a small bakery, besides serving coffees, Italian sodas, smoothies, and the like. I ordered a white mocha with oat milk and it came up to about $7.50ish. The coffee was super good though and I would definitely get this again! The service: The staff were kind and service was super fast, I got my coffee within five minutes of ordering. The environment: It's kind of beach/rustic themed and it's a super cute, all lit up place. Small, but has room for tables and chairs without feeling too crowded. Has a menu I can actually read hung up!! Super cute little cafe. Final thoughts: I would definitely go here again and I recommend trying this place out next time you're in Seaside, OR!

Cute little shop on the beach. Friendly staff & good prices. The white mocha was probably my favorite aside from the old fashioned coffee cake. Will be back :-)

Have you ever gone to the Pig and Pancake and ordered a $16 plate of slop, wolfed it down, and then…read moresaid, "Oh God, what have I done?" Yeah, me too. That's why I've decided to stop hurting myself and go to the Chalkboard Cafe instead. The difference in quality of ingredients and cooking is apparent in the first bite. It really is a bit jarring. This restaurant makes everything from scratch, and I mean everything. Yesterday my son and I got two burgers and our potato salad and coleslaw sides were like sides my mother would make in her kitchen, not globs of shelf stable Reser's food-paste that were made two states over a month ago and sprayed with mortuary chemicals to stop their decay. The food at the Chalkboard is real food, not fake food, which brings me to my next point, dietary restrictions. If I had any dietary restrictions whatsoever, gluten sensitivity in particular, this would be where I would go for breakfast or lunch in Seaside. Chalkboard has gluten free biscuits and gravy available, delicious GF naan bread made by hand, and gluten free versions of popular bakery goods made in their small kitchen from scratch. Even if you don't have restrictions you can be assured that your meal will have 80% less total ingredients just based on the restaurant's ethics alone. They aren't taking shortcuts, they aren't bringing junk into the building in the first place, so junk never ends up on your plate. The service is stellar, the ambiance is charming and clean. You're out of excuses. You were wondering where you should go to eat, and now you know. Go to the restaurant where the locals take their own families - the Chalkboard Cafe.

But I didn't care too much for the flavor. Genuinely not good. And the cream cheese it came with, zero flavor, which was easily remedied by adding my own salt. The ambience and decor was quaintly charming, at first. But the more I looked the more understood that everything was creepy. Like witchcraft creepy.

Bagels by the Sea - Review…read more We stopped into Bagels by the Sea while visiting the area and had a mixed experience. Food & Drinks I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with a side of cream cheese and an Americano. Unfortunately, the bagel came with the cream cheese already spread on it and was wrapped up in a bag with other hot sandwiches. By the time we opened it, it was a bit of a soupy mess. My Americano tasted decent enough, but it was only lukewarm when it was served. I drank about half before it got too cold to enjoy. My husband ordered the Eggle Bagel with bacon and a white chocolate mocha. He said the bacon was good, but overall the sandwich didn't have much flavor. It was okay, but not something he would order again. The coffee was decent. My grandson had a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and a hot cocoa. His bagel ended up being a soupy mess as well because the cream cheese had melted after being wrapped up with the hot food. He did say the hot cocoa was delicious though. Atmosphere The atmosphere was cute, eclectic, and overall inviting. It has a fun little seaside café vibe that we enjoyed. Service Service wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't particularly welcoming. Staff weren't rude, but there wasn't much warmth either. One thing that puzzled us was that they toasted the bagel and immediately spread the cream cheese on it before wrapping it up, which made it pretty messy by the time we ate it. We also ordered our food to eat there but were given everything in a to-go bag, which added to the feeling that maybe dine-in wasn't really encouraged. Pricing Prices were about what you'd expect for a seaside town. Overall, it was an okay stop, but with a few small improvements in food prep and service it could be a much better experience. Would we return? Probably not. We would just look elsewhere for a better experience.
