I'll be honest, this meets my beach coffee expectations, but likely will not live up to a Portland coffee connoisseur's preferences. That said, it's the beach. Get a raspberry mocha. Go for a walk. Absolutely the best coffee in town. Brew 22 Coffee is a hidden gem with strong, bold, and full-flavored drinks. I am really picky about coffee, and I can honestly say this is the best I have had in the area. One thing that makes them stand out is they offer whole milk, which is surprisingly hard to find these days. The service is quick and friendly, and there is rarely a wait except maybe on Monday mornings, which is totally understandable. The service was great and the barista was very nice. I was pretty bummed they didn't offer matcha but chose an iced vanilla latte instead. My boyfriend and daughter chose smoothies, which they both enjoyed. Unfortunately for me, my latte left me a bit disappointed as it was overly sweetened and the coffee had a bit too much of an acidic flavor. The woman outside taking our order with the iPad had to ask my husband to repeat his order for his coffee several times, which didn't seem to much to order (white chocolate americano with Carmel & cream). After paying for our drinks we drove away my husband tried his drink then said they didn't add any of the above mentioned flavors and it's just a straight Americano. This was disappointing as we had waited in line behind a few cars, repeatedly told our order this specific coffee order to the barista and paid for something we didn't get. Stopped in after seeing great reviews for this coffee shop and we were very underwhelmed. The 2 people working weren't as friendly or welcoming compared to other coffee shops we've been to. A great little coffee pit stop during our drive along the coast. Their medium sizes are super sized. It looked more like larges. I definitely tasted the coffee in my iced latte unlike other coffee joints where you taste only the cream or flavor syrup (no judgment if that's your thing). While visiting seaside this coffee shop was on my list. We were in the area for a week and visited this shop first. The coffee and staff were so good we didn't make it to any other coffee shops on our list. I ordered a Caramel Breve a little extra sweet. The baristas were spot on. They were super friendly, fast and made a great cup. I even thanked one of them for their kindness. It's missing these days. Whatever they're doing at this shop should be put in a manual. We stopped in everyday of our trip and the girls treated us like we were locals. We will definitely come here again when we are visiting seaside. read more

Coffee was really fantastic in flavor and they were able to fill my request for heavy cream--many places don't have it. Service both days were fantastic and I told the barista such. They were fast, engaging and able to make a recommendation on a beverage for someone who hasn't really adopted a love for the coffee flavor--the coconut mocha on the menu was a win for her and she ordered both days in a row. Just enough room to roll through in the mini-rv I was driving. There was a younger guy working the window - he saw I had my canine companion and immediately offered a treat. This pleased my pup, which pleased me. I ordered a 4 shot medium mocha, and the total came out to 6.75 - this seems normal to slightly high for the price, but the quality was there. The drink was hot with the perfect balance of chocolate and espresso. I paid and from my change gave a tip - the kid at the window seemed genuinely grateful. I said I wish I had more to give- and we briefly commiserated over the fact that those with the most to give often times don't give at all. And... maybe that's why many have extra is by never being generous. It was a semi-deep conversation to have with such a young man in the span of 3 or 4 minutes... and it was probably one of my favorite conversations so far today. The kid at the window told me if he had enough money for himself, he would be generous with others as well - and I believed him The quality of my coffee was 5 stars, and my brief interaction with the staff was 5 stars as well. You might see a few cars inline when you pull up, but, they move us through quickly, even send a person out to take orders if the line is longer. It is easy to pull off Hwy 101 on to Holladay (for ~ 100') and turn into the stands lot. They have a punch card and their prices are good! My drinks are always wonderful and hot! read more

Love this place! Definitely our go-to when we're in town for vacation. The service is always friendly and quick! But... please bring back the coffee soft serve!!!!!! I totally understand that soft serve machines are the absolute worst and they are a nightmare for business owners.... But.... It's so. Freaking. Good. My wife and I stopped here last year and got the soft serve and we were immediately hooked. We stopped by literally every day we were on vacation at cannon beach. This was our first stop driving in for our annual trip this year and unfortunately, they shut down the machine for a few months. Devastation lol.
