Smoked Salmon Bagel

Would I recommend: yes What I ordered: Plain bagel Smoked salmon lox Pickled onions Capers Dill/cream cheese The amount of lox was a little light, but they were quality. Everything tasted fresh. The made other things by hand there. It's not a place that has frozen ingredients off of a truck. I would go here again.

Hot chocolate, salted maple latte and granola parfait

Randomly stopped in here for lunch while antiquing around town. The coffee was divine. I had a fall special of salted maple oat milk latte. Their granola parfait was delicious and just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. The bacon and egg breakfast sandwich was delicious also. Tiny inside with a few spots to sit and enjoy. Very friendly and fast service. New fav coffee spot in Astoria.

Best iced latte I have had in weeks!!! Quaint spot - love the half door entrance. Kind service. Great coffee!

Cardamom latte, Arte, and scone, biscuit with butter and honey, and a house coffee

This is my first time to come here and I had the most mouthwatering delicious biscuit and honey and butter with my coffee. I will definitely be coming back.

This place was amazing! I was getting grumpy and needed some caffeine and a bagel and my wishes came true! I got a dirty chai and it was delicious! Also my bagel had a healthy amount of cream cheese. Much appreciated! The cafe is tucked away and blends into the building but well worth the stop! Service was fast and staff are friendly. Next time I'm in Astoria this will be my first stop.

The bacon and Egg Breakfast Sandwich

This is a great place for coffee and Tea beverages on Commercial Street, right by the Sunday Market. This was our 2nd time stopping by at this place. The beverages we've tried thus far taste great. They also have some fresh sweet and savory baked goods, and also make some breakfast sandwiched with toast, bagels or English Muffins. This is a smaller place, with 3 small tables and some tall chairs on a counter which overlook Commercial street. Their service is great and the breakfast sandwiches we've tried are good, albeit on the smaller side.

Well equipped barista station

Great little independent cafe, with well trained baristas and seemingly engaged mgmt. Lattes were pulled consistently well over several days; staff was cheery and customer service oriented. The non-adjustable fan was an annoying pain in my neck, literally; the door with poor seal at top and large missing sweep at bottom wasn't a great separator between the near freezing cold outdoors and kept the place from feeling cozy. A door closer would really help exiting with fully loaded hands.

Sausage egg sandwich with everything bagel - IG @bougiefoodieboi

We stopped by here in Astoria before checking out neighboring places and found this nice coffee shop that doubles up as a great place to get a quick bite. I personally tried the sausage egg breakfast sandwich substitute for everything bagel for $1.50 more. For $8 total, this was a pretty solid sandwich. The bagel is nicely toasted and super fresh and the sausage and egg, despite it being something I can easily make at home, is welcoming in terms of the speed of preparation as we are tight on time to explore the neighboring areas. For the price and quality, this place is very solid.

Matcha latte & drip coffee

This is a great spot for a cup of coffee. We came into Astoria on a cruise ship and wandered in to the Rusty Cup on a whim. The inside of the shop is clean and has a nice aesthetic. There is a cozy, quiet vibe where it feels like you can really sit down, relax, and enjoy your drink. The barista was extremely friendly and patient despite our indecisiveness. We tried the iced matcha latte and a regular drip coffee. The pricing is great here, especially for a small coffee shop. Both drinks were prepared with care and tasted great. You can tell they take a lot of pride and care in their product here. Definitely recommended if you enjoy coffee, especially if you're stopping by for a short time from a cruise ship. If I ever find myself in Astoria again, I will be sure to visit again!

Love this place! Looks soooo much better now that it's decluttered and has a new menu :-)

They clearly care about their coffee--it's always consistent and well made. The lox bagel is excellent too.

Food ***** Ambiance *****…read moreCleanliness ***** Service ***** This has to be one of the few places I think about even when we are not in town. It is always on our radar when we go to Astoria. Sitting on one of the old piers with a few other shops and a small museum this place is so warm, friendly with great coffee drinks and food that is perfect. They even allowed 3 of us a couple years ago to stay and use their Internet to work. Of course we kept buying coffee and food, that is a must for taking up their customer space. The service and friendliness of this place is top notch from any coffee shop I have been too. I really would love to keep this place a secret, but I want them to be here when I return so if you are in town please go visit them and hang iut for a bit with some coffee and food.

I enjoyed seeing the diverse customers onsite, plus great views of the Columbia River waterway with container ships and even pelicans. There are both indoor and outdoor seating available. Visit #1 (6/19/25) The Homie had a 12oz The Pink Pony, which was a Strawberry Lavender Latte and a cherry pie bar. I had an 8oz mocha and a brownie. The brownie was fresh, fudgy, and decadent. Visit #2 (6/22/25) The Homie had a 12oz Rocky Road and a S'mores bar. On the sweet end of things. I had an 8oz cortado which was a perfect foil to another brownie. Missed out on lemon bars, but we shared a ginger cookie. Waiting in line during our second visit, I was able to look at their merch: Cafe D'Arte coffee beans, mugs, bags & totes, patches, masks, beanies, caps, Tshirts, and hoodies. Make sure to sign up at the register for frequent buyer points and/or a punch card. Liked it so much we visited this indie bakery & cafe twice! Great experience and a worthy detour.

Unfortunately, one of the cookies that was ordered, nothing was listed as having chocolate in it, and my wife has issues with chocolate. It is pretty well known that in the food service industry, chocolate and peanuts are one of those things that you should never mess with when it comes to people's intake. The lady I talked to on the phone a day later mentioned that it was vegan chocolate if it made a difference, and quite frankly, I can see where at some level that might make a difference for the dairy, but in the bigger picture, it doesn't make a bit of difference as it is chocolate that is an issue not the dairy. The bottom line is it should've had a label on the shelf tag and it did not. In our opinion, it should even have a listing of the type of chocolate (dark, lite, etc ). As that could have been a hospitalizations worse. Then, at the end of the conversation, the person I talking to was dismissive and just wanted to move on -- clearly not somebody that should be answering the phones if she's not gonna fully listen (even though she said she did) to the very valid concern. She said that there's a recipe book that we could've asked about if we had any concerns. The concern was that there was no listing on the label of the cookie that was on the shelf. Something as simple as "contains chocolate" could have averted this whole situation.
