I don't give out 5 starts often, so when I do it's well deserved. Everything I read about the customer service reviews are spot on. Greeted by the friendliest barista. My 20 oz London fog was delicious and surprisingly so was the bagel breakfast sandwich! Highly recommend this business as I was on my way out of town and gave it a shot. I was thrilled! Great job.

Fulfilling my life's bucket-list, I decided to go visit the "Goonies House", which is located in Astoria, Oregon. After taking my photos, I decided to find some coffee to keep me warm and this is what led me to Journeys End Espresso. Journeys End Espresso is the epitome of what I'd expect to find in a small-owned, coffee shop in this quaint city. It is, literally, a small log-cabin that is situated on the side of the road overlooking the bay. It is so adorable!! Be careful not to drive passed this petite, yet playful place to grab a cup of joe, espresso, latté or even their infamous Red Bull drinks. Apparently, Red Bull Mixes are a "thing" here in Oregon! (sounds delish!) Keep in mind, this gem is so small, that it is drive-thru only. But there's a public parking space right on grounds and also some spots overlooking the bay and it's a wonderful view to take in while warming up to a toasty beverage. Service is super-friendly, prices are very good and they've a pretty good variety of options to choose from on their menu. Keep an eye out for their SPECIALS OF THE DAY!! I Highly recommend Journeys End Espresso when in Astoria!

Finding a new coffee shop is always at the top of the list when getting to a new place. The coffee cart is in a parking lot right next to the harbor. The staff was sweet and patient had their menu was large lol. Order to getting our drinks took 5 mins if that. So, pretty quick. I had the ole favorite: sugar free vanilla soy hot latte. The flavor of the espresso was perfect and the perfect amount of syrup and milk. Would def. Come back to check them out!

I was in town for 4 days and stopped by here on our first day we arrived. It was close to our hotel and Convenient. I was not prepared for how amazing the coffee was!!!! I really love coffee and drink it all day some days. So its important that my coffee actually be good and enjoyable. The Journeys End Espresso had just that! My favorite drink is an Americano and theirs is probably the best I've ever had! The coffee was smooth & not bitter. The splash of cream was perfect and the amount of flavoring was spot on. Too much can make it taste like pure syrup and not coffee at all. These gals here know what they are doing!! They were all super friendly too. We went every morning and sometimes in the afternoon too. They are also dog friendly, my dog loved his bone they gave him each time we went!

"ohhhh THANK GOD i don't have to drink starbux!!! i get a actually decent almond milk latte at some adorable tiny cabin with a walk-up window and friendly barista and it's only like $4!?" --me, at 6am staying at the motel 6 a block away (forced out of my condo in portland due to a construction project) during covid when the restaurant scene is a weird place and this is a small town and i'm thinking what the heck besides starbux would be open at this early of an hour and also i can't support the drive-thru coffee shop across the street because i hate it when people try to be cute and spell words like COFFEE with a K

It was a quest to locate and stop by the Columbia River Coffee Roasters while in Astoria, OR…read more We had sampled a coffee liqueur from Adrift Distillery in Long Beach, WA and had a mocha from Seaview Biscuit Company in Seaview, WA. Both sites had collaborated or specifically featured their roasted coffee beans. Their parking lot is located beneath the Astoria Bridge and across the street from the Finnish Brotherhood Building. I noted from the exterior this was the former Finnish Meat Market. Strong Scandinavian vibes while visiting Astoria. Upon entering we were warmly greeted by a very personable staff member. We enjoyed chatting with her. The site combined both retail and production roastery with a great bright interior facing the busy thoroughfare. There's merch available, including coffee beans. (Face palm, I forgot to buy some and get a business sticker!) Note: there are no espresso beverages available. However, featured instead are drip, nitro cold brew, and sparkling lemonade. Plus there are outstanding Thundermuck chocolate truffles. The nitro cold brew topped with cream was smooth and on point. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing. The truffles were quite remarkable. Overall, a terrific experience and glad to have located this Columbia River Coffee Roaster site. Business hours are 9am-2pm Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday.

It is always on our radar when we go to Astoria. Sitting on one of the old piers with a few other shops and a small museum this place is so warm, friendly with great coffee drinks and food that is perfect. They even allowed 3 of us a couple years ago to stay and use their Internet to work. Of course we kept buying coffee and food, that is a must for taking up their customer space. The service and friendliness of this place is top notch from any coffee shop I have been too. I really would love to keep this place a secret, but I want them to be here when I return so if you are in town please go visit them and hang iut for a bit with some coffee and food.
