Kick Ass Koffee - Hazelnut and mocha blended coffee drinks. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Astoria, Oregon

I appreciated how friendly the baristas were! They were super fun to chat with! However, my americano wasn't amazing. Perhaps it was just the espresso beans they use, but it was both harsh and weak at the same time. I would give it another shot though, simply because of the lovely baristas! read more

Haven't been here in years and asked what was good. The Barista recommended a Vanilla Chai with banana. OMG!! Not only did it smell just like banana bread, but it tastes like it too! My husband got a White Chocolate with hazelnut and I got a Gingerbread with brown sugar. All were super tasty, but the chai definitely won. Thank you Barista for the suggestions and fun conversation. I'm sorry I didn't catch your name to thank you properly. read more

Had the dirty spiced chai - delicious. Spicy. So good. Also the hot chocolate which was super chocolatey. There were a couple cars ahead of us but the line went quickly. The barista was very friendly read more

Very good and recommended by family, super glad we came. Baristas were kind but lines are pretty busy non stop

Photo Correction- someone posted the wrong business here. the photos shown are of journeys end log cabin coffee across the street from Kick Ass. Kick Ass is on south side in a peach colored hut. Coffee is great with just cream. It is my best test for good coffee. It doesn't need the sugar or flavors to cover the flavor. That's good news because all the additions are just a bonus! Don't miss the turnovers oozing with fruit. I had the raspberry lemon and it was yummy. You need the paper towel it is wrapped in!! Easy access and good coffee. read more

This it's a hood place to go but on 2 different occasions I've gotten paper in my drink and that just is the worst thing you could get in your drink if you go here DONT get a blended drink get it iced the girls there are nice but don't pay attention when your telling them what you want read more

I ordered 4 shots of blonde espresso over ice with light vanilla syrup and oat milk and got this. Water a tiny bit of ice, and milk. This is the most disgusting excuse for a coffee I've ever seen. Seriously what? If I hadn't been on my lunch break I'd have asked to make it again, but I frankly wouldn't have trusted them to make it right the second time. I threw this away. This was the worst "coffee" I've ever had so thanks for that. You call yourself kick ass coffee but it looks like my coffee got it's ass kicked. Thanks for nothing y'all. read more

Amazing coffee and great service every time I come here. Also the best prices in town for the quality/quantity of their drinks.

My grandkids in the passenger seat while ordering hot cocoas heard every foul word imaginable coming out of the people working there. Not the first time I've heard the drama either. Depending on who is working you can either get some of the best coffee around or it'll be so burnt you can't drink it. Either way you'll have to cover your ears and hope they don't talk trash about you when you drive off. The girl with the orange spray tan hands is the meanest but she makes a very good coffee. read more

Dang...just saw a post on social media that this stand is not friendly to people of color. That's not surprising considering the history of racism in Oregon. However, spitting in someone's drink???? Wow. read more

It's been awhile but yes when I get coffee I get kicked in the ass with kick ass coffee way better than any Starbucks Dutch Bros. And service they are fast. Ambiance is nice if you love road noises but you can drive across the street and look at the beautiful Colombia river. read more

Great coffee! Highly recommend it. I ordered a vanilla chai with oatmilk and the house coffee and both were delicious.

The employee was super nice and friendly. Which is the only reason I'm giving any stars. Bc my order itself was not good whatsoever. I ordered a smoothie and it just tasted like pure sugar. That's not really what I'm into when I get a smoothie. I've never tried their coffee, hopefully it's of better quality. read more

Coffee was delicious!!! Bagel and cream cheese were decent. Barista wasn't overly friendly but she got the job done.

Interesting experience Alisha I believe was being 100% useless & causing problems with her fellow coworker when I just wanted my coffee. She seemed like an upset child who's definitely a narcissist not repeating the order to the point her coworker came up to take my order. I like avoiding her days because ms alisha also can't make a drink correct to save her life I don't believe she even knows the difference between hot shots & cold. The one star review is mostly towards her because for the most part it's chaos when she's there, for the most part everyone else is on point. If it wasn't for that one employee would be at least 4/5 stars. read more

Heading through town on Christmas Day, I was glad to find a coffee stand open for the drive. The employees kept the line moving with smiles and the coffee hit the spot. Happy new year! read more

Honestly, I only go there when I'm too lazy to want to get cigarettes and coffee in two stops. They have only one worker there I enjoy; the others are usually too busy gossiping to each other or flashing their tits to the other sides male customers for tip. They also don't tell you they tag on a charge for cards, so bring cash... read more

I expect a lot from my coffee, especially having lived in Portland where great coffee is on nearly every corner, and so I figured I was in for the usual mediocre drive through experience here. How foolish of me! Great service, great prices, excellent, locally roasted coffee--And always with a smile and heartfelt welcome. Sure, you can head into one of the trendy coffee shops or bistros downtown and pay twice the amount for your coffee if you need the ambiance of an historic setting, etc. But hands down, this is the best drive through coffee in Astoria. And it lives up to it's name! read more

Coffee was good but they wait on you and then stop mid-order to stock or talk to friends who drive their second window. In line 5 min waited at window for another 9. You can't leave because they have your credit card. First clerk never comes back and hands your card AND order to someone else, who handed me someone else's credit card! CHECK YOUR CARD, they aren't paying attention to anything- especially you! read more

Good coffee! Friendly staff. The only down side is the location is kinda dangerous to pull in and out of. Have witnessed many a wrecks in that intersection. read more

It takes special kind of people to appreciate the liquid sunshine that keeps our area so green, our rivers so blue and our coffee tasting so good. Kickass Koffee isn't for those who prefer the burnt bean taste of a cuppa that the chain down the road serves. This special roasted coffee leaves a very nice, mellow, finish on the palate that will leave you looking for the next place to make a u-turn and come back for another cup. Their prices are another nice contrast to the chain drive throughs, the baristas are always ready with lively conversation, they know where the local events are happening plus they are happy to put your poster up to advertise your fundraiser. I love to get an Asiago bagel w/an iced Americano, shot of vanilla and half and half, all for under $5 including the tip!! You can't beat the taste, price or service than what you receive at Kickass. read more

This place is pretty lowbrow. Nobody listens to you order, they rush you through the process, and in the end, you get a coffee that makes you wish you went somewhere else. I stopped going here a while ago, and I've only lived here for a month. read more

I grew up here long before KickAss existed. Now I live in Cali where fancy, shmancy coffee shops and big chain coffee shops abound. KickAss is always fast, has great coffee, serve no sugar added big trains for those of you who need those sweet drinks and are always friendly. My parents get their coffee here at least a couple times per week and they so love it that I called KickAss and purchased a gift card for my parents and in typical small town form they knew exactly who I was talking about and held it for them until they stopped by for their next coffee. The smell of fresh ground coffee wafts into your car and makes the 5 am drive back to PDX to catch your flight much more enjoyable and they're conveniently located right off the Astoria-Megler Bridge. read more

They seriously need to change their name to weak ass coffee. I imagine they altered the titled coffee to koffee so people won't misconstrue the beverage to taste satisfyingly like the real thing.. Like muzak compared to music. I gave two stars because the Batista was nice and only added a hint of syrup as I always request, but often am ignored only to get little cups of overly sugary junk. read more

Kickass Koffee is 100% kick-ass, they are fast, friendly and extremely pleasant. Thank you for the chocolate covered coffee beans, yum!! The cream cheese cheddar jalapeño bagel, is amazing. Thumbs up on the honey cinnamon latte. #happycustomer read more
