Haven't been here in years and asked what was good. The Barista recommended a Vanilla Chai with banana. OMG!! Not only did it smell just like banana bread, but it tastes like it too! My husband got a White Chocolate with hazelnut and I got a Gingerbread with brown sugar. All were super tasty, but the chai definitely won. Thank you Barista for the suggestions and fun conversation. Coffee is great with just cream. It is my best test for good coffee. It doesn't need the sugar or flavors to cover the flavor. That's good news because all the additions are just a bonus! I ordered 4 shots of blonde espresso over ice with light vanilla syrup and oat milk and got this. Water a tiny bit of ice, and milk. This is the most disgusting excuse for a coffee I've ever seen. Seriously what? If I hadn't been on my lunch break I'd have asked to make it again, but I frankly wouldn't have trusted them to make it right the second time. I threw this away. My grandkids in the passenger seat while ordering hot cocoas heard every foul word imaginable coming out of the people working there. Not the first time I've heard the drama either. Depending on who is working you can either get some of the best coffee around or it'll be so burnt you can't drink it. Either way you'll have to cover your ears and hope they don't talk trash about you when you drive off. The employee was super nice and friendly. Which is the only reason I'm giving any stars. Bc my order itself was not good whatsoever. I ordered a smoothie and it just tasted like pure sugar. Interesting experience Alisha I believe was being 100% useless & causing problems with her fellow coworker when I just wanted my coffee. She seemed like an upset child who's definitely a narcissist not repeating the order to the point her coworker came up to take my order. I like avoiding her days because ms alisha also can't make a drink correct to save her life I don't believe she even knows the difference between hot shots & cold. I grew up here long before KickAss existed. Now I live in Cali where fancy, shmancy coffee shops and big chain coffee shops abound. KickAss is always fast, has great coffee, serve no sugar added big trains for those of you who need those sweet drinks and are always friendly. My parents get their coffee here at least a couple times per week and they so love it that I called KickAss and purchased a gift card for my parents and in typical small town form they knew exactly who I was talking about and held it for them until they stopped by for their next coffee. The smell of fresh ground coffee wafts into your car and makes the 5 am drive back to PDX to catch your flight much more enjoyable and they're conveniently located right off the Astoria-Megler Bridge. read more
