A cute little house turned into a darling restaurant. Lots of people waiting , but all were joyful with anticipation for the cozy experience to come. I felt like I was in a fairytale set in a small seaside town. My visit was on a normal day, no villains in sight. Just two strangers passing through town. We were full to the brim after homemade marionberry scones, clam chowder, hot tea, and crab eggs benedict. Delightful.

Amazing service and Very friendly staff. I will say that was the best part. Food was delicious, must try the marionberry scone. Coffee and omelettes were tasty. Inside was so cute and quaint, felt like I was in a hallmark movie. I highly recommend this place is you are in the area.

On a Sunday we got there as they were opening, we knew they would have a long wait later. We were seated immediately. It's a small place with great food. Bring cash as they are cash only. We got My Favorite Omelet, and Eggs Benedict. We loved both the Omelet, and Eggs Benedict. We got fruit with both our items, the fruit was very fresh. We will be back the next time we are in Canon Beach.

There are a ton of restaurants around canon beach but not a lot of them open or cater for breakfast. This location is one of a few and there are definitely stand out aspects but also areas I found lacking. Starting with the good stuff, service and ambiance are top notch. It may not have anyu ocean views despite being on canon beach, but the vibes are great. It's small and quaint. There's both indoor and out door seating depending on the weather. And the service was fantastic. Despite only having one server while we were there she was super friendly and approachable. One thing worth noting, since there aren't many other breakfast spots, you should probably plan to wait for 20-30 minutes since this is a relatively small establishment. I think this is totally reasonable and not a fault of the restaurant or service. Truth be told I found the food to be the weakest part of the restaurant. My wife had the eggs benedict, and I had the ham omellete. Both were relatively plain in execution, with nothing really worth noting. I also understand pricing tends to be higher around the coast, but it just felt a little underwhelming. The omellete wasn't super fluffy and kinda fell flat. The bacon, in my opinion, was over done, although I know some people really like super crispy bacon.

This was our favorite restaurant out of them all during our trip to Oregon! Highly recommend!

Chairs and tables tucked into a very cute cottage. This restaurant has a very friendly staff. We got there a couple minutes after opening and the tables were already filling. The waffle Special of the day was the gingerbread waffle which was delicious with the perfectly ripened pear on top. The omelets too...a gentleman at the next table remarked "this is the best omelet I've ever had". Another in our party had the shrimp omelet and enjoyed that. The poached eggs had the orangest yolk I've seen in a restaurant in a very long time. It is cash only and the waitress who was also gluten free said everything was except the bread and hollandaise sauce. A great set of options for a celiac. It seemed there were the fair share of regulars so get there early or be prepared to wait.

I loved how old school and friendly the atmosphere was. The restaurant felt like you were visiting someone's home- it genuinely smelled like how I remember breakfast smelling as a kid. Overall, the food was amazing. Someone who is normally non-impressed by scopes that was one of the best pastries I've ever had. Will be back!

A charming little café, undoubtedly so! The one downside: a long wait time to be seated. I found it worthy of the wait as it is everything a breakfast place should be -- bustling with energy and cheerful chaos. 5/5 stars.

Traditional Eggs Benedict with potatoes & Omelet with Crab and Fruit

Was incredibly impressed with the food at Lazy Susan Cafe. Eggs Benedict was one of the best I've ever had. The potatoes were also fabulous and the Crab added to the Omelet was incredibly fresh and tasted amazing! The service was also attentive and friendly :) Would 1000% come back the next time we are in town. One of the best breakfasts in Cannon Beach! Small space, but worth the wait. BUT REMEMBER - CASH ONLY!

Merry and I stopped in for breakfast this morning; first visit. This establishment is clean and well maintained. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated, our coffee was there immediately. Mary had the Johns special and I had the ham and cheese omelette; both were very tasty. We shared a berry scone that was very tasty. Get in here and give them a try!

Get here early and bring cash only. The food was very delicious! I had the John's Special: Two poached eggs on our sautéed potatoes, topped with melted Tillamook cheddar cheese and green onions. Served with fresh fruit and an English muffin. My husband had the homemade brocolli and ham quiche, served with fruit and a bran muffin. Everything was fresh and hot. We will be back for sure!

Came here to grab breakfast before going to Cannon Beach. Giving some grace as the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday morning. The wait outside was about 30 minutes, then once we were seated and put our orders in, they seemed to have forgotten about us as our food came out very late and cold. Some highlights: -Homey restaurant located in a cute shopping center, about 20 min walk to Haystack Rock -Street and lot parking available but crowded during peak hours -Eggs Benedict is a must-get!! -Omelette was pretty dry, if we go again we'd order Eggs Benedict over the omelette -Berry Merry Scone was a special item for the day and very delicious -Mocha with whipped cream was also delicious There's only a handful of brunch spots in the area and this is definitely a solid choice.

Hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. As a certified breakfast lover, I was in HEAVEN. I tried eggs benedict for the first time and adored it. The gingerbread waffles were incredible as well, and the marionberry scone took me to another dimension. The inside of the cafe was adorable and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Our food came out quickly and perfectly fresh. I just left two minutes ago and I already miss it.

Crab cakes were expensive and underwhelming. Ceviche was literally nothing but cheap bay shrimp. I ordered the halibut tacos for my main with no mango salsa because of an allergy. It came with mango salsa and the wrong kind of tortilla. Before I could say anything waitress bolted away from the table. I think she knew it was wrong. We had to flag down another waiter after looking for ours for ten minutes, rest of the party had almost finished their food by that point. Two other people had incorrect orders as well but chose to deal with it as it wasn't allergies. Finally got correct order and I wish I would have just sent it back with no replacement. Halibut was almost non existent, it was more of a cabbage taco. The rice was gross and tasted old. The beans were bland. When our waitress finally did come back she said nothing about my incorrect meal. She actually became rude and cold, wouldn't even look at us. I had just received correct meal and two others ordered more drinks since we would be staying longer. Took over 20 minutes to get more drinks and she had become so cold that we were all convinced she might have spit in them. New drinks were left untouched and I left hungry.

We were looking for our last meal of fish & chips before heading back inland and Bouy's Best seemed…read moreto be the best option. When we first walked in, we were a bit confused since it seemed like it wasn't actually a restaurant and was instead a fish market - it turns out we went into the wrong door. Bouy's Best Restaurant is the building that says restaurant outside, not the market next door that only sells fresh, frozen, and smoked fish. We elected to get the Captain's Platter to share as it seemed to include most of the fried items that they serve. It's great for sampling! Captain's Platter ($34) - The Captain's Platter is served on two trays - one with the fries, and one with the seafood. The fries are pretty standard commercial battered fries. Crisp on the outside, tender on the inside. Not really much else to say. The seafood plate consists of one piece each of lingcod, salmon, and halibut, two oysters, one razor clam, and two prawns. I love the batter they use here - it's light, lacy and crisp. Not quite as light as tempura, but it stands up against the fish well, and it adheres enough so that a hearty bit won't leave naked pieces of protein or hollow husks of batter. While there's a bit of oil soaked into the plate, the batter is not oily at all. Starting with the fish - I understand now why salmon isn't used for fish and chips much since it gets dried out a bit. Still good, but not as good as salmon could be grilled or baked. The taste is quite different and a bit stronger to the typical generic farmed salmon. I'm not sure what the difference between halibut and lingcod is since I don't have too much experience with the various types of fish. One of them, which I think is halibut, tastes a little bitter and has some strange fatty and tendinous parts. I didn't enjoy eating it due to the texture and taste. The other piece, which I think is the lingcod, is also a little acrid, kind of bitterish with a very distinct taste. I think this is why fish & chips is traditionally cod - it's much lighter in taste. But if you're looking for something a little more flavorful, lingcod and halibut might be the way to go. I don't really like oysters and the fried oysters included in the captain's platter did not change my mind. They are mushy, very briny flavored. The prawns are pretty solid, good and sweet. The tail part of the shrimp is so crisp you can easily eat it without any issues. Finally, the razor clam is very good. Nice, large, and chewy. My favorite was the clam, followed by the salmon, prawn, cod, halibut, and oyster. (3/5) On the side, they server a cup of tarter sauce, cocktail sauce, and slaw. The tarter sauce is very creamy. They are heavier with the mayo than most tarter sauces. It's tangy and quite rich, but I feel like they add quite a bit less pickles than other places. The cocktail sauce it just a nice refreshing and acidic sauce to break through some of the fat in the batter and seafood. The slaw is interesting. It's quite sweet and acidic, with bits of pineapple mixed in. It works well with the seafood. There's a wedge of lemon included as well to add more acidity to preference. Clam Chowder, Small ($7.99) - This is a decent clam chowder. The clam taste comes out quite well, followed by a bit of vegetalness from the mirepoix. The razor clams are cut into larger pieces than traditional clam, resulting in meatier and chewier pieces that I would normally expect. The broth is thick and rich, but I'd say not as creamy as most other clam chowders. It's more of a grey than off white in color. They are pretty generous with the ingredients, with the vegetables, tender potatoes, and the aforementioned clams. That all sounds good, but the major downside is how salty the chowder is. The amount of salt they add makes the clam chowder a little unpleasant to drink. I didn't end up finishing the chowder. (3/5) Overall the food I had at Buoy's Best was kind of meh. After I ate the fish & chips I felt a bit burnt out on this dish (even though I had only eaten it twice that week). Was it the difference in flavor vs. other fish & chips? I'm not sure, but I don't think I would revisit Buoy's Best. I'm not saying the food served here is bad - it just didn't work for me personally. I suppose if you're bored with the usual fish & chips and want something a bit different, Buoy's Best is worth a try. Bathrooms: One unisex room

We had the halibut fish and chips. It was pretty good. They used the meaty pieces of fish (unlike…read moresome places which use the cheaper ends). It was fried to perfection, in this case slightly rare (just slightly) so the halibut was tender. We also had the clam chowder, which was a good complement to the meal.
