2x4 - Two eggs and four pancakes
    Hayley H.

Was excited to try this spot but left feeling disappointed. It has that old diner feel but WAY overpriced and an additional tax on top. The sourdough pancakes were great! Parking lot was tiny with limited parking. Service was mediocre and I expected more of a mom and pop feel.

If you're in Cannon Beach you have to grab a stack here. It's tradition The blueberry pancakes are a favorite but all of the breakfast options are filling diner classics. This isn't fancy food but it's classic and filling!

    Dungeness Crab Egg Benedict

Stumbled into this diner style restaurant for breakfast on a Saturday morning because we had kids in our party and they wanted pancakes. As soon as you walk in there's toys and trinkets displayed for purchase like a souvenir store. We were lead to our table and were promptly seated. Unfortunately the espresso machine was broken so we could only get drip coffee. Service wasn't exceptional, we had to flag our waitress for water and coffee refills. Since we were in Oregon and they are known for their Dungeness crabs, I ordered the Dungeness crab eggs Benedict with hash browns. The meal was nothing special, the crab did not taste very fresh. We also had blueberries pancakes, they were decent but not memorable. Overall it is what you would expect from a chain diner, fairly mediocre food. The parking was a bit of a hassle as well, very few spots in their lot.

Chicken fried steak (country fried steak)

I LOVE country fried steak (also known as chicken fried steak) and was very excited to see a diner up on the coast (even if a local franchise) have it. I ordered the chicken fried skillet and my partner got the kielbasa with sourdough pancakes. The chicken fried steak is smaller in portion to what I'm used and is pre-cut. It was the gravy that made this country fried steak perfect because it was actually seasoned and none of that floury taste that some diners seem to suffer from. Toast comes pre-buttered here! My partner's sourdough pancakes were alright, they had a strong fermented aftertaste. Parking is not the greatest, only about 4 spots and one for handicap parking. You'll need to park down the neighborhood and walk if you are going at peak hours. Overall, this is worth the visit if you're craving good diner food.

Best breakfast place in CB. They have a huge menu, and lots of seafood options for both breakfast and lunch. I have eaten here every time I come to CB, and it's always good. The staff is so friendly, and the kitchen always gets the orders right and makes for quick service. Crab and shrimp omelettes are yummy, they have these sour dough pancakes that are really delicious, and so are their blueberry pancakes. Also, their dining area is big, and has a lot of natural light. Great breakfast or lunch option.

    Breakfast is served!

Raise your right hand if you love yourself some pancakes. Now raise your left hand if you feel breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Close your left eye, if you prefer bacon Close your right eye if you are all about that sausage life. -------------------------------- During our most recent visit to the beautiful Pacific Northwest to visit my sister in Seaside, Oregon, we took a short ride to Cannon Beach to grab breakfast and enjoy the amazing views. Wait.... Have you had both your hands raised this entire time? And why are both of your eyes still open?? You don't like bacon??.... Or Sausage!!! For the love of god, please just tell me you are more of a corned beef hash person or maybe just a turkey bacon enthusiast and not a you know what.... Vegetarian!!!! Ahhh, it's all good, vegetarians need some love too... and hey, More meat for YOU and ME! So I know you all are wondering.... -Did I "Pig Out" at the Pig'N Pancake? The short answer, Yes! -At the end of my meal, was I 100% satisfied?? Let's just say my stomach was as "Happy as a pig in mud." -What was the verdict on my order of sausage biscuits & gravy??? Let's just say, I ate "Everything but the Squeal" Yep, I went "Hog Wild" on this review and I highly suggest you give them a shot if you find yourself in the area. This small town eatery matches what you'd come to expect from a quaint city like Cannon Beach. It's a place where the locals and tourists can go-exist and enjoy a 'home-style' cooked meal. So I think we can all agree that breakfast is definitely the most important meal to start your day off right and for the record... The day that I decide to be a Vegetarian... Will probably be the day "When Pigs Fly" ;) Now.. Take my advice, don't be "Pig Headed" and 'Hoof It' over to Pig' N Pancake!

When we arrived, we saw that the space inside was small. There were only a couple of chairs and a bar to sit, though there was ample seating outside. We were impressed by the variety in their menu. I wanted their sorbet, the Maui Waui, and P2 ordered their Mango Colada smoothie. Both were delicious when we got them. I was particularly impressed by the Maui Waui, and for a $3 scoop, I thought it was a fantastic value. Since I have a dairy allergy, I always appreciate when shops offer at least one sorbet/non-dairy ice cream option. We were able to snag the inside seats while we were there and enjoyed the chill vibe of the place. They sold some additional products on a wall near where we were sitting, and although several people did come by to look at these products, we never felt cramped in the corner with them. All in all, we enjoyed our experience at Oasis Cafe and wouldn't hesitate to return if we're ever in the area again!

I've been there many times, and I've never had a bad meal. And if you had a problem, they would quickly resolve it. It's owned by the hardest-working woman I've ever met. She is always there to greet you with a warm and welcoming smile. I believe she started as a waitress. Then she bought the business, and now she also owns the building. I adore the sometimes-available lemon waffle, though in winter I really like the gingerbread one. I don't eat eggs Benedict, but my friends always love them. Love their lattes, and I am a coffee snob! Their scones are to die for. So take a couple home with you. The only downside is that it's terribly popular, so you will have to wait outside. It's very tight quarters. So if you're claustrophobic, this is not the place for you. They only take cash, but there's a cash machine across the street. I think they're always Open, which is amazing to me. If I'm really being picky, I wish she would update the interior and offer pagers so I could walk around.

Kind of like the feeling of coming home. The place was packed -- just a testament to their very good food and excellent drinks -- there was even a couple sitting outside and they had a fire going. Wish I had taken that photo. It was a really beautiful moment. The place was decorated and felt very holiday festive with small bright lights reflecting off the tin ceiling. Excited to have a couple of days on holiday here. Stopped in to pick up their latest version of fudge because Christian the Baker keeps evolving the art of fudge making...and you don't want to miss an iteration. Using the owner's grandfather's recipe as the base, he makes some of the best fudge in Oregon. Tonight I was told he decided to explore a Mediterranean approach and added nutty sesame to the fudge. The sharp but soft chocolate is a perfect compliment to a delicious drink on a cold, cold night. While I was waiting for the fudge to be packaged to take back to the fireplace in my room, I spied their latest culinary endeavor sitting in jars on the counter... and actually started salivating. They are now serving Pickled eggs. Incredible. When was the last time you had a pickled egg? When done right, pickled eggs are among the most satisfying and clean bite of delicious ungrilled, ungreasy proteins in the world. And the lounge has decided to serve two different kinds, so we might've died and gone to heaven. If you love eggs of every kind, as I do, boiled eggs hold a special place because they are hearty and compact and completely whole. So when you add a spices and acid to that perfection...it emerges as "wow." The service was attentive and thoughtful always, and I was told they're open New Year's Eve until 9.
