Wife requested Thai but they where still closed 30 minutes past there advertised opening time. Decided to go literally across the street since the Mexican restaurant was open. Seems like a family ran business a young man hosted us to a table. The music was quite load not sure if it's the trumpets or just the volume. The food was ok no real complaints. We are visiting from Arizona and my family and I were craving Mexican food. This restaurant was close to our motel so we decided to go. When we entered It smelled like natural gas. I ordered a shredded beef burrito and I received ground beef instead. The burrito was gross and I couldn't finish it. The rice tasted like minute rice from the grocery store. The bean dip tasted like it came straight out of a can. My kids burger was burned and his fries were luke warm and limp. They served him ketchup in an ashtray! My husband's enchiladas were unrecognizable and tiny. The only good thing we ate was the salsa and chips. The salsa was actually amazing and we couldn't get enough. Absolutely will not ever go back here. I'm really sad I wasted money on such terrible food. read more

The food was so tasty! I recommend the camarones a la diabla. One of the best versions of this dish I have ever tasted.

Food is not great. I. ordered simple chicken taquito plate...took over 50 min to get our order. 2. My taquitoes were hard as rocks. 3. The refried beans were so watery they spilled over the whole plate. 4. The rice was flavorless and like paste. The service was attentive and kind. So we did leave tip for that reason alone. The ambiance was good, however this is March and all Christmas decor is still up. This is a tourist town mostly... though I am resident...but ya just gotta do better if your to survive with so many other choices close by to your establishment. BTW this was after lunch and before dinner hours so the time it took to get our food was not acceptable. Hope you take this as helpful to do better. Unhappy customer wasted her money. read more

Very clean, friendly service. We had never tried Guatemalan pupusas or tamales before. They are very unique and delicious. Good portions.

How do I start the rice was bland and not cooked the beans were just water and was bland the chicken was the only hot thing and had zero seasoning at all it took over 2 hours for food to show and they were only walking and half the restaurant was run by children the salad was just water no flavor it took 20 minutes to sit and 2 hours to eat and still has Christmas decorations up I rather eat from Dairy queen before this I would not recommend to anyone at all and the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting had no paper towels and had to use a dirty toilet paper roll 0/10 read more

Won't be back. (Had the steak 3 taco plate and shredded beef chimichanga. Chimichanga description started cheese and sauce. It has neither. It was just the shredded beef. As a Guatemalan myself I am deeply disappointed with the food here. The pupusas were terrible, it was under cooked, with barely any stuffing. The Ceviche was basically pure tomato and overpriced. I would not recommend this restaurant if they have the same cooks that cooked today. Horrible horrible horrible. read more

Terrible service. Food too salty (and I don't mean just a bit of extra salt, more like the salt shaker had fallen over onto the food) and wait-staff refuses to make it right. Refused to call manager on behalf of customer to make it right and demanded that it wasn't his fault even though the kitchen staff acknowledged their mistake. The waiter and waitress could care less as soon as the waiter turned it down... the waitress started to turn the music up as if I was disturbing their party at work. Never been to a Mexican restaurant I didn't like till this one. I don't usually post reviews but I'm really disappointed with this one. Ordered flauntas taquitos and churros, after waiting an hour+ both came bone dry and rock hard. Couldn't eat it, and kindly told the waitress who said they're supposed to be like that. Paid for my meal in full. So disappointed with food and service. Wouldn't recommend. read more
