All 3 locations of this restaurant are incredible! Their seafood dishes are some of my favorite seafood dishes anywhere at the Oregon coast. Yum! The prices are fairly reasonable considering the portions and freshness. We ate at one of their locations and loved it, and then tried a different location and loved it even more. The staff are very friendly. The portions are large. I also have a gluten sensitivity, and I of course was careful to avoid things that might need the fryer to avoid cross contamination, but did not have any reaction whatsoever during any of the trips we've made to this place. The Roackaway Beach location is my favorite especially when we can eat outside, but all are great. If you like Mexican food and/or even fresh seafood flavors, give this place a try. We look forward to it every time we go to the coast. read more

Missed the last couple of years coming to this restaurant but they did a beautiful job with the remodeling a year or so ago. Makes you feel like you are in Mexico! Decided to stop at the place while In the area for lunch. I was promptly seated by the waitstaff. The decor was very typical for a Mexican restaurant, could use a little tlc. The menu has a giant selection of items and a very reasonable lunch menu. The shrimp tostadas were ok, the shrimp did not taste fresh and there wasnt much of any flavor to the menu dish. Friends were raving about this place and we thought we would give it another try after a poor service experience 4 years ago. First impression after being seated was the strong American/Mexican Sombrero atmosphere throughout which is nothing that I can get excited about as it says to me gringo food fresh out of the microwave. Chips and salsa was ok but lacked any cilantro which I believe contributes to good flavorful salsa. My Tacos Al pastor sided with refried beans and rice were ok however, the tortillas were lacking the tasty pork morsels I expected. I'll just by saying excellent and better than expected. The restaurant is in a strip mall and we didn't expect much. We were very wrong. Loved the decor. The booths were so colorful and the place so much bigger and better than expected. We both ordered the ground beef taco salads. They were so good. It was hard to stop even though we were so full. My choice of the Enchilada Mole with ground beef was delectable! Food was piping hot since served on hot plates. I love eating hot food! They serve up a mean margarita to accompany dinner. Our Server was friendly and efficient - checking back in the ensure all was fine. Love the decor and privacy of their booths. We were Just here recently and very disappointed with the chips that came out with the salsa. Some of the chips tasted like they were very old and they tasted rancid. Several of us noticed. It was as though they mixed old chips in with the basket to save money. Or they have quality control problems. The tostada was OK, lettuce was a little bit soggy on top of the corn tortilla. But it tasted pretty good. But when you have rancid chips for the appetizer and with guacamole, it's really a turn off for the overall dining experience. read more

Feel it's more of a cafeteria style, not fast food (though, order to food on table is quick) but also not unique or outstanding. Certainly worth a try. Got the fajitas for two for $35 and was barely able to make two tacos each with the meat. Our meal items were all ready at different times. First our rice and beans came out. 6 mins later the fajita platters came out and another 4 minutes our tortillas came out. I honestly couldn't finish the food. The plate was blazing hot and had obviously been placed in a microwave not long before it arrived at my table. This "taco" was 100% garbage. I hate paying for what I don't eat, and I tried my best to eat it but left a portion of it on the plate. The chicken enchilada: dry and boring. It was soooo basic and felt like the microwave dried out already dry chicken even more. It's just not very good. The cheese enchilada: way better than the chicken enchilada,it was flavorful and tasty. I actually enjoyed it. The chips and salsa were good as well - the rootbeer was just fine. As far as value you get a reasonable amount of food for your money. The problem is (for me at least) most of it just wasn't very good.... and I suspect the microwave gets a lot of work in the kitchen. The food came out FAST, and now I know why. Perhaps we didn't order the right dish, or perhaps the reviews were from people with lower standards. We ordered the menudo and a combo plate of chile relleno and shredded beef enchilada. Most of the food had little to no flavor. For being 20 dollars, the menudo should taste like more than water. We asked for some limes to try to give it some sort of character, and were charged 1.50 for that as well. The salsa was edible, but not nearly satisfying enough. On the fence regarding this. The food is a solid 4 stars but the wait staff and decor more than made up for what the full dish lacked. Visited the restaurant on eve of reopening after the Plandemic and they were very busy. Forget the dish i had, was like flour tortillas filled with meat and covered with sauce and cheese. No matter, that part was extremely good! Didn't get the beans but opted for double rice and that was like meh, could've done without. The tortilla chips they served were excellent also. The place was packed, so I thought we found a gem. The wait staff is friendly and there are plenty of staff making sure you're ok. But... the food is not good. I got shredded beef crunchy tacos. It comes with beans and rice. The beans looked like they came out of a can - grayish pink. Taco shells were from a box. There was no sauce or salsa. No sour cream or guacamole, just dry shredded beef. Hard to swallow. My boyfriend got veggie fajitas. Smelled great! But it was mostly onions and they weren't cooked enough.
