The woman behind the bar, may have been the owner, was so kind, caring and attentive. She made conversation with me over my license from Colorado, asked my name and remembered it as I was leaving saying "have a nice day, Nate" Soooo sweet and kind. A true gem of a human. She even had regulars that she said "I told you when we were on that hike that I owe you a drink so this ones on me" freaking precious. Okay now that I'm done praising the owner/bartender. The food was exquisite too. I got a basic cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce. It was cooked well and was enjoyed heavily and quickly haha. The cook even came by to check that I liked it as well. Very warm place with great food. Much enjoyed. The place was clean and kept up well. This was one of the first dive bars I had been to where they had slots and that was a bit of a twist. I didn't roll the dice on them as the only thing I gamble on is once a year and that the horses at the Kentucky derby. Keeps my gambling in line and doesn't upset the in-laws too much. If I visit Seaside OR again, I will absolutely find myself back here for another delicious burger and friendly interaction.

The same things you see on the stage behind the screen borders. Anything on the floor stays there where ever i look. They wipe tables but no sweeping , so popcorn, napkins , fries. Turns out they keep it raised until about 4 o'clock while they brew beer behind the theater, then the screen comes down later for basketball, games, and movies. Honestly, that just made me appreciate the place even more. I walk all over Seaside trying different spots, little hidden places, tourist places, all of it, and somehow this still ends up being my favorite lunch spot in town. The food never disappoints. Ever. The prices are shockingly good for what you get, and they somehow manage to get food out fast without sacrificing quality. What I love most is the space. Even when town is packed, you are not jammed in elbow to elbow with people. Families, kids, locals, everybody just looks comfortable there. Big open historic theater, great food, quick service, sports on the screen later in the day, and good atmosphere without the chaos. Screen up or screen down, this place is one of my favorites. Thanks guys for always being awesome.

I also researched cocktails in Seaside Oregon and this was the spot that kept coming up. I entered and was immediately greeted by the barkeep. She was friendly and made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. I chose the Moscow Mule since they are known for this yummy cocktail. It was made to perfection and even served in a legit hand hammered copper mug. I'd say the best Mule I've ever had. We talked about Wisconsin, cheese curds, ranch, the Packers, Lambeau Field and of course Seaside too. The barkeep even shared some photos. I can't wait to go back and watch the packer game here. It feels good to support a local business that makes everyone feel special. Do yourself a favor and get in here. Go Pack Go.

In fact it might've been my favorite beers of the five or six breweries We tried in the area.. the bartenders were great, had great recommendations and very friendly. Loved the old bars and the jail cell to include a skeleton jailbird. We will definitely be going back to Seaside brewing the next time we're in town.

This place is AWESOME! It's so cool that wall with the taps on was the old city Drunk Tank. How cool is that?

It's poor form to not apologize and ask how to remedy the issue. Removing our cold French dip sandwiches with a scowl and without a word is not good service. Stuff happens, restaurants get busy, and good servers know how to make things right when they drop the ball. We enjoyed the shooters and the beer.

Ceviche was literally nothing but cheap bay shrimp. I ordered the halibut tacos for my main with no mango salsa because of an allergy. It came with mango salsa and the wrong kind of tortilla. Before I could say anything waitress bolted away from the table. I think she knew it was wrong. We had to flag down another waiter after looking for ours for ten minutes, rest of the party had almost finished their food by that point. Two other people had incorrect orders as well but chose to deal with it as it wasn't allergies. Finally got correct order and I wish I would have just sent it back with no replacement. Halibut was almost non existent, it was more of a cabbage taco. The rice was gross and tasted old. The beans were bland. When our waitress finally did come back she said nothing about my incorrect meal. She actually became rude and cold, wouldn't even look at us. I had just received correct meal and two others ordered more drinks since we would be staying longer. Took over 20 minutes to get more drinks and she had become so cold that we were all convinced she might have spit in them. New drinks were left untouched and I left hungry.
