Came here to check out. Prices were pretty decent. Didnt feel overpriced as some other places. You get decent value for your money. It's located pretty much right on cannon beach. Easy walk and views. Food was salty, as with many american food, but it's fine. Service was attentive and good. Would consider coming back. Food wasn't amazing, but wasn't terrible.

Wow, I've never tried this Oregon seafood institution before but it was great! Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean while safely inside protected from the wind, yummy chowder and ceviche and piping hot Marion Berry Cobbler with ice cream. I thought the cod ceviche was especially worth it and delicious. The clam chowder was good but it is a little cream forward, which isn't my style as much, still really good. The decorations and the beautiful view topped it all off. We loved it, highly recommend!

Located off of Hwy-101 at the Tolvana Park exit. There is plenty of parking around the building and additional parking at the park just across the way. This restaurant is located right above the beach with stunning, sweeping views. During the warmer days, the patio seating offers gorgeous views - less beware of prowling seagulls. There are local, wild rabbits that frequent the grass areas around the parking areas. We always order the Halibut Basket to go. It is some of the freshest fried halibut around. It comes with your choice of wide and we go with the chowder or the fries - both are delicious. The tartar sauce is fresh and delightful as well. Plenty of seating inside with great views. There is a small "gift shop" area right inside as well. Order online and take your food to go and enjoy the beach views from your car or the nearby picnic area.

Food (4/5): I tried steamer clams for the first time and they were great. We also had the fried seafood combo and the grilled shrimp. It's odd that you have to now pay $3.50 extra for bread (it used to be included in the meal). Worth the wait (there's no reservations but the line moves pretty quick.)

First in line when a lady opened the door, I explained I tripped on a large rock that held the doors open for the delivery that just came. NO ANSWER, flipped her hair (that was still wet from her shower) and walked away and disappeared into the restaurant. Standing at the "wait till your seated sign" for about 2 minutes a pleasant young lady greeted us and took us to our table. A nice Hispanic gentleman was cleaning the outside tables, was super friendly, was constantly removing plates and asking if we needed anything. Andrea was our server and one of the best servers ever! Very personable, knew her menu, specials and asked if you wanted an upgrade. She asked all her tables about upgrades. Beer was cold!!! The LOCATION STUNNING!!! NOW FOR THE FOOD: It was the worst meal at a MO'S and I have been going to MO'S for over 30 years. Fries were cold, ALL THE FISH (as were the chicken strips) were way overcooked and hard as a rock. THEY WERE COOKED IN OLD/DARK OIL AND THEY WERE SO GREASY. Sorry MO'S we will never return

Solid experience here, I'd come back. We came on a midweek day, spring, and gorgeous weather so i think they were caught shorthanded with a swarm of beach goers. KUDOS to the management for throttling seating (several tables empty) so that servers could give great service to the customers. We ordered the fried shrimp as an appetizer, you get 6, butterflied, nicely cooked. For my side I ordered the cabbage salad with shrimp; I know a little weird, but i liked it, came with a nice pile of shrimp and dressing. And it was just shredded cabbage - so I added a little salt. My bettered fried halibut was delicious, cooked right, the fries crunchy. Wife got the bread bowl clam chowder. despite me reminding her we agreed we didnt like their chowder. She liked the bread bowl ok, but the chowder again disappoints. Hardly any clams, thick and pasty. Splendid view of the pacific ocean and beach.

Right on the beach with plenty of window seating. MO's opens at 11 am, plenty of indoor seating for a group and a small gift store located at the entrance. A small ice tea was $3.00 which I found expensive for the child's size portion. Fabulous and courteous service all the way around. I ordered the cod sandwich with fries. The appropriate amount of fries were hot, crispy, and had great flavor. The cod sandwich was mostly bread; and the cod was in bite size pieces; very difficult to eat without making a mess. The cod was most and had a nice mild flavor. Everything was great except the disappointing sandwich.

Lunch with an awesome view! Three of us shared halibut and chips, and each got a bowl of chowder. Plenty!! Chowder was yummy.. lots of butter which I don't recall, tasty nonetheless.

Is there better food on the coast than MO's.... Obviously. We had spent all day at the beach and I could tell my daughter was getting to the verge of being HANRY and rather than making her wait for something in town... we went straight to MO's. The view is lovely, the bathrooms were spotless, the restaurant was immaculate, and they didn't have a wait. We were seated, had drinks, and food all within 20 minutes. The fish, shrimp, and clam strips were all good. Not greasy and pretty flavorful. I don't care for the clam chowder because I've had way better on the coast. Service was fast and efficient but not friendly. They don't ask how everything is or if you need a refill. They just quickly drop things off at the table and ghost you. I finally just laid my card down on the edge of the table next to the stacked plates to hint that I would like to pay. I would never wait in a line for this place but if you are a mom with kids that are a ticking tomb bomb, than this place will be just fine! Just grab a cocktail and enjoy the view while the kiddos eat.

Probably my favorite of the Mo's locations. You can't beat the view of the haystack rocks. Service was OK today and a little bit spending, even considering we split dishes at the table. Halibut fish and chips was pretty good, but there was a lot of extra breading so the value wasn't there 100%. Kids enjoyed themselves and that's what the most important thing was for us

Easily the best Clam Chowder I've ever had. Our trip to Moe's made my wife & I's first trip to the NW even better with their great food, friendly staff & THE VIEWS!! There's nothing even close to that chowder or their fish & chips back home in the Midwest so safe to say we'll absolutely be making the trip back to Cannon Beach!

Great location and beautiful views! Food wasn't amazing but it came quick and was hot. Overall a decent dining place!

An excellent place to stop and eat. We went two days in a row in fact! The clam chowder is superb and the halibut even more so! Lots of views of the ocean and would be fantastic to watch the sunset from. Service and wait staff were great and helpful. In January it was quite empty and easy to get in to. During the summer it's packed and busy. Would love some more of that halibut. Yum!!

Kind of like the feeling of coming home. The place was packed -- just a testament to their very good food and excellent drinks -- there was even a couple sitting outside and they had a fire going. Wish I had taken that photo. It was a really beautiful moment. The place was decorated and felt very holiday festive with small bright lights reflecting off the tin ceiling. Excited to have a couple of days on holiday here. Stopped in to pick up their latest version of fudge because Christian the Baker keeps evolving the art of fudge making...and you don't want to miss an iteration. Using the owner's grandfather's recipe as the base, he makes some of the best fudge in Oregon. Tonight I was told he decided to explore a Mediterranean approach and added nutty sesame to the fudge. The sharp but soft chocolate is a perfect compliment to a delicious drink on a cold, cold night. While I was waiting for the fudge to be packaged to take back to the fireplace in my room, I spied their latest culinary endeavor sitting in jars on the counter... and actually started salivating. They are now serving Pickled eggs. Incredible. When was the last time you had a pickled egg? When done right, pickled eggs are among the most satisfying and clean bite of delicious ungrilled, ungreasy proteins in the world. And the lounge has decided to serve two different kinds, so we might've died and gone to heaven. If you love eggs of every kind, as I do, boiled eggs hold a special place because they are hearty and compact and completely whole. So when you add a spices and acid to that perfection...it emerges as "wow." The service was attentive and thoughtful always, and I was told they're open New Year's Eve until 9.

I enjoyed the steamed Manila clams appetizer, the two oyster shooters, and my ribeye. The issue was, all the items were brought out at once. When ordering it, I did specify "to start" for the appetizers and did not in any way indicate I want it all to be brought out at once. The steak was wonderful; I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't just switch out the potatoes and asparagus for a salad, but I understand how that could be a substitution and they don't do substitutions at all. To do that I would have needed to pay $12 to add on a salad, which I chose not to do. I also was not offered bread - which coupled with the fact that neither the minimal prep time oyster shooters nor the clams with the toasted garlic baguette came out early, and I was really hungry, made me wonder whether they didn't offer it to me because I was dining solo. Every table sat before and after me, whether two people dining, or seven, were offered bread and butter. I asked for a refill of the hot water for tea three times and I understand that maybe bringing me another tea bag would have been extra, the server typically offers a new bag or a refresh without me needing to ask, so that really was different. All in all, I'd come back here; the food is stellar and the portion sizes are great. I just will know to ask for bread, and also for the two appetizers not to be brought out at the same time as a sizable entree because that made it challenging to focus on one item at a time as you don't want to oyster shooters to get warm, nor the clams & steak to get cold. Not the best balance for the level of a steakhouse that this place is. The crème brûlée was delicious.
