We ordered many things, among them a kids meal burger with cheese added. And.... THEY FORGOT THE CHEESE??? There's only 2 ingredients inside the burger how could you forget 1 of them, that's 50% of the ingredients :( Mess up the adult's orders but please pay closer attention to the kid's orders in particular, they were so sad that half their burger's insides were missing :( Ontop of that the fish & chips are mediocre considering the price they charge. The redeeming factor is that their clam chowder is REALLY quite good, which saves them and gets them a 3/5 (Otherwise honestly a 1/5). If you go and just get the clam chowder you'll have a wonderful day, guaranteed (Unless they forget the clams in your chowder).
Incredibly warm staff, homemade shower and excellent pairing w suggested beers from menu. Def try the spicy oyster shooter. Ambiance is a blend of woody mountain cabin meets chill ocean community. dogs allowed on patio. enjoy!
We spent a night at the cannon beach. Our Airbnb was right across the pelican brewery so we decided to give this a try. They have great selection of beers. I ordered the draft to try out 4 of their beers. A couple of lagers, and a couple of ipa. For appetizers we tried their large bowl of chowder. It was delicious. Nice and thick bowl of clam chowder. The service and ambience were amazing. This place gets crowded. We were lucky to get a couple of seats at the bar.
There was one young guy working the whole outside. He apologized for the wait and we'd only been there for maybe two minutes. He was polite. He was friendly and we didn't wait for anything. He did a fantastic job. The 2 of us and our 2 pups ate great food, very good drinks and enjoyed our time
We love this place! Pelican is a great spot to grab some food and a beer after a day out in the beach. Dog friendly & kid friendly! Service was quick, wait staff was great. Definitely check it out & order the chowder!!
Pelican Brewing was a great stop! We grabbed a beer flight and the "Tastes Like Summer" was the standout, perfectly sweet and tart, just refreshing. The clam chowder was creamy and packed with flavor, and the onion rings? No notes. We sat on the dog-friendly patio to soak up the weather, which came with a bonus round of adorable pups wandering by. Staff were friendly and on top of things the whole time. Great vibe overall, would definitely come back.

This place was walking distance from our hotel and grabbed the calamari and flatbread pizza. Delicious! When we go back to Cannon Beach we will surely eat at the restaurant as it looked incredible and super inviting.
Solid food and right by Cannon Beach which is nice to grab a bite afterwards. It's a good spot to also stop if you wanted a drink as this is a brewery. The clam chowder is something to get, especially on a cold day. It was delicious and soothing. My friend enjoyed the poke bowl and thought it was better for the price than getting other items. I enjoyed the tsunami burger as it came with pineapples as well. Overall, good spot to grab a bite before heading back out.
They were stingy with the onion rings were so small and I only got 5 of them. Like is there an onion ring shortage? The waiter never smiled once. Our bartender though was awesome. We should've just ate at the bar honestly. She was a lot more friendlier. The food was meh. Needs to be seasoned more. The tri tip looked like it was boiled.
The clam chowder was really good. It didn't taste "fishy" at all and was just what I was craving. I also tried the pineapple burger which I have never tried before, and it was amazing. Probably one of my favorite foods while on my Portland trip. We also ordered the Marionberry dessert, and although the berries were really tasty, the rest of it tasted like cornmeal. Our server was super friendly and explained to use that Marionberries are wild blackberries. Service was quick and we were able to sit outside. The vibes were great the restaraunt itself gave a rustic, outdoorsy theme.
This is a great place to grab a bite to eat. This hustling and bustling restaurant has a great menu (food, drinks, desserts). It is...Child friendly, pet friendly and people friendly! Staff are wonderful and accustomed to catering to tourists on vacation. I didn't see where you could make reservations...it's a place that you stop-in and put your name on a list. Average wait time is 20 mins. There is a fantastic art gallery next door where you can pass the time and pick up some special pieces while you wait. Now for the food, I am mostly a vegetarian and this place had great options for me. I asked if I could order off the kids menu because they had homemade Mac'n Cheese with Tillamook cheese (best cheese ever). I customized their very designer house salad and selected their Marion-berry Margarita to drink. The verdict...best margarita and mac'n cheese EVER!
Let me start with the only downside PARKING The service is great, the beer is crisp and cold and the food is delicious Great place and if you have a pet they are welcomed also
Appetizers were the star of the show here. The onion ring tower was fun and had enough to feed my table with kids included. One of the sauces is spicy- didn't try the other. The calamari plate was also piled high which is rare for most places that serve it. Came with spicy sauce and a tartar sauce. The tartar sauce was very sour, not my favorite. I tried the hot honey chicken sandwich. The chicken is really crisped up. Not a big fan of the pineapple slaw that they put in the sandwich- that with the pickles made it more sour than enjoyable. My server was very kind and attentive. She came around to check in multiple times, cleared our plates, and refilled waters.
Unless you're in a big group, head straight to the bar. It is open seating and you may order food. Thank me later. We saw a huge line and wait for seating and bypassed it by going to the bar. We ordered a flight and a cider. Service was quick and friendly. The beer is crispy, cold and refreshing! Parking is tragic in the area. If u find a spot, park and walk over. read more

Great food. Salmon was delicious, flavorful, and asparagus that complimented the dish fantastically. Also, if looking for clam chowder, this is the best place to go. The service was great. Want to make a shout Out to our waiter Josh who was very attentive and showed me and my wife a caring experience. The area was clean and vibrant as there was in door and outdoor seating. This restaurant made me and my wife dining experience on the Oregon coast as pleasant as ever. We will be coming back in the future. read more
I stopped here and got the house salad with salmon made gf/df. They accidentally added the cranberries which are soaked in beer. They remade my salad. The salad overall was just okay. Nothing spectacular due to the limitations of what all they could have on it. Overall a good place to grab a drink or two. They have a variety of things to order. read more
Our experience here was horrible. The fries arrived cold the oyster crackers packs were opened. The spoon was stained. It took them a while to get us a clean spoon and crackers that were OK. The manager never came over to ask what happened or to offer an apology we will never go back. Also the prices are absurdly high Unacceptable ! read more
Great spot to come for a quick lunch in cannon beach! I loved coming here mid day to get a hearty meal, the service is quick and the location has indoor and outdoor seating. It is a large space so there is plenty of tables. We got seated but I nice window for natural sunlight and a quieter area which was nice. They have small table games to play while you are waiting for your food. The clam chowder is claimed to be the best here! It is a large portion and has a good flavor. The burger was nicely cooked and the house sauce was a really good compliment plus the fries were filling. The food here is great and I'd recommend having a good lunch here. read more
Stopped in here during a trip to cannon beach - good spot for some beers and a snack! A little on the pricey side for a brewery, but we were happy that they were able to seat our large group without a reservation! The server was kind though service was a bit slow for drinks. Stumbled across this spot while in Oregon and it turned out to be a great find! Pelican is a roomy, airy craft brew pub, featuring rotating taps from local breweries and pub fare food. It is a popular spot for locals and perfectly situated near canyon beach. The restaurant offers a casual outdoor patio and expansive indoor dining space which is surrounded by a bustling open kitchen and sizzling pizza oven. Parking was a bit tricky, every spot in the lot or nearby was taken so I had to park a bit further and hike back but the trek was worth it. We sampled a flight of their rotating taps and opted for a hearty clam chowder. It was delicious, perfectly seasoned, meaty and a decent size portion. I would highly recommend giving it a try. Your taste buds won't be disappointed!! Service was friendly and expedient. Overall a positive experience! read more

Pelican Brewing in Cannon Beach is a beautiful, modern, coastal brewpub. It's so charming. I love seeking refuge at Pelican Brewing on a rainy day at Canon Beach. This place is a major tourist draw. Expect higher prices and potentially long waits for a table, as they do not take reservations. While they are a brewery, their ciders and sodas are delicious as well. The food menu is large, so there's always something for everyone. Stop by Pelican for the friendly service, excellent drinks, and keeps-you-coming-back atmosphere. The food isn't the best you've ever had but it isn't terrible for pub fare. Give it a try! read more

Back after many years on another vacation. Calamari is really good. Had the tsunami burger, mac & cheese, and pale malt crusted salmon. I would have them all again. Great selection of beers as you would expect. Service was pretty good. We visited on a Wednesday evening around 9 PM taking advantage that they're open until 10 Had about a 10 minute wait but they make it easy to grab a beer while you wait. Pelican Brewing is a great spot to visit during your trip to the Oregon Coast. They offer an extensive menu of award winning beers. They also have lots of appetizers and full entrees to choose from. The wait time was short because of the large floor plan and the team was friendly! It's safe to say I thoroughly enjoyed my burger after a long day of exploring. read more

I had some family in town and we caught the sunset at Cannon Beach. Before heading back to Portland, we decided to grab dinner before we embarked on our 2 hr car ride home. Compared to most breweries, Pelican Brewing offers more substantial food options. We had ordered some calamari and steamed clams as appetizers to share. While the clams were good, I found their calamari to be too salty. For my main entree I had ordered their Crispy Coastal Shrimp Bowl. Everything about that bowl was soggy. Their rice was supposed to be sushi rice but there was clumps of undercooked rice. While their food wasn't as tasty their beers sure helped mask the taste of their food. read more

I've been to the Pelican Brewing location in Pacific City dozens of times, and this was our first time visiting the Cannon Beach location. We had a wonderful lunch here during a day trip to the Oregon Coast. AMBIENCE: It was a weekday, so it wasn't too crowded. But the space is huge: there's a ton of indoor seating, and also a number of tables under a mostly covered patio. We sat outside since it was a sunny day, and loved it. It wasn't too loud or too busy even though it's right next to the main street. It's a casual spot that's family-friendly, and good for groups. FOOD: We ordered the onion rings to share. I had the shrimp tacos and my husband had the fish and chips. To be honest, we had no expectations, as we know coast restaurants are hit or miss oftentimes, and the food is usually just ok. I loved the shrimp tacos! They were cooked perfectly, had a little bit of kick to them, and the slaw was fantastic. The fish and chips were good -- not the best in this area, but definitely above average compared to the ones we've tried (and we've had a LOT of Oregon Coast fish & chips!). SERVICE: We were greeted right away and seated right away by friendly staff. Our waiter was great. He was helpful, kind, and attentive. PRICE: The prices here are on par with what you'll find at similar restaurants around town for this kind of food. I didn't think they were expensive at all compared to a few other spots, but they're definitely not the cheapest either. This isn't the place to go if you want creative or high end cuisine, but it's a great spot to get higher quality classic microbrewery food. For our lunch, everything hit the spot. We'll definitely be back the next time we're at Cannon Beach! read more

Went here over the weekend. I'm from WA. 30 bucks is kind of crazy for these portions. I got the fish and chips and this fish was delicious but the slaw that comes with is so blah. Just super bland. It took awhile for food and server to get checks. Maybe some more staff would be helpful. We sat outside, kind of crowded but I'll take it. Overall an okay experience. read more

We had lunch at Pelican Brewing, which was highly recommended by family members who love the place. We got Calamari to start, which we loved. We then got Chicken Piccata and Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. The Chicken Piccata was good, we loved the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. Pineapple in the slaw was surprising and I liked it. The fries that came with the sandwich were good. Will definitely be back to try more. read more
I'll be straight up. We came here on a weekday prior to the 4th of July holiday. And I chose to eat here based on the Pelican Brewing location at Pacific City. At that location, we loved their views, brews, and food. So we thought we'd give this PB location a try. The welcoming hostess took my name down and set us up with an inside table. They do take reservations by the way, in case you notice a long line waiting outside. We were seated within 20 minutes and served by Lyssy. She too was welcoming as well as helpful, as she made a few recommendations. My friend ordered the Tsunami Burger ($23.49) as a lettuce wrap, another friend ordered the Backyard BBQ Burger (23.49), and I ordered the Brewpub Cheeseburger ($21.49). Oddly enough, we all consumed it and said, "What the heck, why is my burger dry?" Were these burgers pre-made and just sitting around? My brioche bun was also dry, not buttery, but why does my patty have to be. We just didn't get it. Maybe we should've ordered their seafood items instead, idk. But unfortunately this was a "fail" on their food, or with their burgers at least. We never complained, but prior to leaving, I asked Lyssy about the root beer. She was kind enough to give me a sample that I decided to purchase a big 32oz can of it. Not only did I purchase the large can at ($16), but I also purchased bottles of their Kiwanda Cream Ale and Irish-sytle Red Ale. The two brews we love! When I got home, I decided to share the root beer and popped open the big can. IT WAS FLAT!!! Why? Why? Why? Overall, I debated between 3 or 4 stars, I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to give it a 3. Lyssy and the hostess were a 5-star in service. But the food and flat root beer were just a disappointment. It didn't justify the price. I love Pelican Brewery and their beers, but I'll likely choose to go to their other locations instead. read more

Absolutely loved Pelican Brew Pub! Our server, Mary, was SO sweet. We sat at a high top in the bar and loved the vibe. I got the grilled mahi and it was incredible. We will def be back! read more

We stopped at this place for a late lunch around 3pm on Monday 8/03 on our trip to Cannon Beach. The staff were really nice and so was our waitress Maya. We were seated outside on a cool breezy, sunny day. I had the clam chowder, Caesar salad and Backyard BBQ cheeseburger. The food was all tasty and fresh. I had the Marionberry soda, which was sooo delicious! It's too bad I can't get it here in Arkansas but I did enjoy my time at the beach and the restaurant. There are souvenirs and T-shirts in the front of the restaurant as well. I had grabbed a couple of shirts. Just FYI, the prices per entree were averaging around $20-25. I had expected that so it was not a shocker. Overall, this is a nice spot to grab some food. read more

The view rates 5 stars. The fish and chips, I would rate 3 stars. And the choice of beers rates 5 stars. The clam chowder was wonderful. It rates 5 stars. Located right next to the beach, this establishment is a good choice if you are hungry after a day on the sand. read more

I haven't been there for curbside pickup, but I know the layout of the building and parking lot & I'm guessing they've made it very obvious how to get your curbside pickup.

I didnt look for seltzer beer, so i can answer yes or no. Sorry

No actually - the only televisions have beer lists on them.
Do they sell beer to go?
They sure do! We bought a cool growler and filled it up before we left.
