It's really fast and efficient. It's def a brew pub. The pizza part upstairs is closed for today. Had the best beer called Divinity ( Marionberry wheat beer) yummy. Chick beer lol. The fish n chips is Albacore Tuna. I had the oysters n chips, John and mom had fish n chips. One bowl of seafood chowder to share was delish. It had everything in it! Including fish too. We are so full but satisfied.. I did want to try the sourdough bread pudding with warm fruit and whip to share... maybe next time. It was really busy in here on a Friday afternoon. We even had to wait for. Table to leave. Glad we came. I bet they roll up the bay doors when it's summer!

The only negative experience was with the guy seating us upstairs, he definitely had a bit of an attitude. We ordered a 16" half Almighty and half Margherita pizza along with a Caesar salad. The pizza was really good overall, although they definitely could've put more cheese on the Margherita side because it felt a little skimpy. Still very tasty though. The Caesar salad unfortunately tasted really old, but our server was fantastic, apologized immediately, and removed it from the bill without issue. Great customer service honestly made a big difference. Overall, I'd definitely come back!

The set up here is quite interesting and comes very close to a one stop shop. It has part convenience store and beer bar all wrapped into one and the tap list of beer is pretty extensive. Lots of local or PNW area beers on tap but they also have some exclusive beers of their own that I almost missed. I was ready to go but Steve pointed this out to me so we got a beer here after all. I liked the tucked away seating and at the time we were there there wasn't anyone else having a beer so the peace and quiet was appreciated. The beer that we had was a lager and it was okay. It was apparently brewed out of Bend, Oregon but I am not sure if another brewery does this for them or not. The flavor highlights with this lager is a breadiness and somewhat of a clean aftertaste. It was fair but it kind of gave me the impression of a big corporate beer as I didn't see much personality to it in the flavor profile. But other than that I did enjoy my first visit to a Growler Guys and as the name implies you can bring in a Growler Bottle and select from the wide list of beers to enjoy.

January sounded like a slower season for them, which showed since we were the only diners that evening. Honestly, it made the experience even more special. The waiter, who was also the bartender, was incredible. Unfortunately, we did not catch his name, but he was working on January 10th and did a fantastic job. He was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely great at what he does. On to the food. We started with the fresh baked bread and Brussels sprouts. I never thought Brussels sprouts could steal the show, but these were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I ordered the linguine, and my boyfriend had the filet with crab and hollandaise sauce. Both dishes were outstanding and truly next level. The vibe of the restaurant was perfect. Very chic and sophisticated, which felt ideal for celebrating an anniversary. We actually loved that it was quiet because it felt like all the attention was on us. We will definitely be back!

Goes well with the mashed potatoes but wish it has some sauce. Also should've ordered some side veggies. Quite a lot of meat without veggie Orange crème brûlée is a great idea, however, the orange flavor is quite artificial and overly sweet. Could've been an amazing dessert if used real orange zest/puree

One spot had a different name but if you chatted to somebody there they told you they were affiliated with this brewery. So this was the location I didn't go to but finally made it to after a number of years. Steve and I enjoyed our brewery experience pretty well and enjoyed the taproom as we could take a peek at the brewing tanks over a banister. I had the Nowhere Land Vienna Lager which I enjoyed quite a bit. It's flavor highlights were malty, hoppy and a nice toastiness to it. It's bright in color which is a usual trademark for these types of lagers. It was a pleasant return to Astoria Brewing and I wouldn't mind more return visits on future trips to the lovely town of Astoria.

There is something on the menu for everyone. This is a taproom, so, there are plenty of local beers to choose from, but they also serve root beer in glass mugs The staff was helpful and patient, and the service was quick. Everyone enjoyed their order. The meals come on these almost plate trays which looks cool, but without a lip fries, onion rings, etc can easily fall off The atmosphere was lively, but not too loud. The park on and open air concept had tables facing the water. There is also a handful of little stores throughout the restaurant with souvenir style options. There aren't servers that take care of individual tables, you will be told your table number when you sit down sand you will order food and drink from the bar. The drinks and food will be brought to your table Some tips: Definitely try one of their many local beer options. Also, if you're an onion ring fan you should substitute them in for your sides. Typically a restaurant will give you like 5-7 big onion rings, but they have over a dozen stacked onion rings. Take some beers to go (cans are available for sale) Cheers!!
