All named after dog breeds except for Dexter's double chocolate porter, that's named after the owner's dog. Met Dexter who was hanging out on the couch. Grabbed a $8 flight of four pours and watched the locals who came in to watch the Blazers game. Good, local vibes, a genuine hidden treasure here in Astoria! Tried 4 dark beers, Dexter's double chocolate porter, Pitbull oak stout, Hellhound mocha stout and Doberman dunkel. The dunkel was lighter and sweeter than most. The winner was Dexter' s double chocolate porter! Rich, smooth, and chocolatey!

We both really enjoyed the sandwich and our food came out a lot faster than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise since everything in town was busy because of the Brewfest. We both also had one of Astoria's own beers on tap and we thought they were also very good. If you are looking for some decent food at a Brewery that has more options than just greasy bar food, I would recommend this place. For a small town I think the food here was well above average.

I liked the tucked away seating and at the time we were there there wasn't anyone else having a beer so the peace and quiet was appreciated. The beer that we had was a lager and it was okay. It was apparently brewed out of Bend, Oregon but I am not sure if another brewery does this for them or not. The flavor highlights with this lager is a breadiness and somewhat of a clean aftertaste. It was fair but it kind of gave me the impression of a big corporate beer as I didn't see much personality to it in the flavor profile. But other than that I did enjoy my first visit to a Growler Guys and as the name implies you can bring in a Growler Bottle and select from the wide list of beers to enjoy.
