My dinner was a 3 piece cod fish and chips with cole slaw, and my husband had a double cheese burger and fries. My fish and chips were $20.00, the cole slaw was $4.00 extra. My husbands double cheese burger was $11.00 and the fries were $4.50 extra as well! The burger was pretty small but my husband said it tasted good. Was very surprised that his fries were extra. So his order was actually $15.50, and mine was $24.00 plus drink. I had heard good things about Tom's. But I was sorely disappointed with my order. I REALLY wish I had taken some pictures. Didn't have a camera handy. The fries were pretty good but the fish was awful! It looked so good when I got it. But when I bit into it, it tasted really terrible. It had that gray/brown strip of awful down the middle of each piece. Even when I peeled it all off it still tasted bad. When I was done peeling it all out I was left with about 2 pieces of fish and a pile of gray/brown ick! It made my hands smell awful too. I tried to eat one piece but couldn't do it. It still tasted really fishy. So I ate my fries and drank my lemonade. Very disappointing. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands before we left and it still left a terrible fishy smell. Today's overpriced and disappointing meal consisted of soggy chicken tenders, fishy tasting tacos, and a blackened salmon Caesar that lacked freshness in all aspects. I don't intend to give this place any more chances. The customer service was pleasant enough and the French fries were good. So maybe would stop by if just wanting fries and a soft drink. We ordered the 3 piece cod fish and chips. Unfortunately, our fish and chips were room temperature and it tasted like it was under a heat lamp. The fries were soggy. Nothing was crispy and it wasn't seasoned. They also have a few beers on tap and also canned beers available. After you order, you seat yourself inside the restaurant.
