If I could give zero stars I would! I love PF Changs so I ordered it yesterday, the day before Mothers day for delivery today! Delivery was supposed to be at 6:30, so it's 8:30 and still no food! My husband finally got through when someone finally picked up the phone. They actually bragged that they had done a $30,000.00 day! How inappropriate! Also, no offer to make it right, no coupon, nothing! I am very disappointed in the poor management. Don't accept more orders then you can handle!! I finally had a chance to try out P.F. Chang's and needless to say I think I've found a new favorite Chinese restaurant to order an all time favorite of mine....Kung Pao Chicken! I'm always on the lookout for great Kung Pao and Chang's certainly delivered on that. Ariel had an old time favorite of hers from P.F. Chang's, the Mongolian Beef. She said it tasted better than she remembered. It was delicious, and so were the BBQ Spare Ribs we had for an appetizer which she said is a must try. The Vietnamese Lava Cakes we had for dessert were really good although it didn't stand out as much as the Kung Pao. Oh, and the Twisted Whiskey Sour was incredible. I wanted a Moscow Mule as well, but after trying it the ginger was way overpowering so I had to send it back. The bartender actually came over and agreed and apologized for the inconvenience. I thought that was really nice. The service was excellent as well and our waiter was super friendly and attentive to our table. There wasn't much of a wait so we got seated quickly. The atmosphere was great despite the fairly loud music, but that's to be expected at a chainy place like this. Please do not order delivery or take out from here. We ordered DIRECTLY from P.F. Chang's in Grapevine for a 5:45 delivery. Food didn't exactly show. Sooooo like any normal person we called. Jasmin who was the rudest human ever answered and said that Door Dash's problem and to contact them. I said we ordered via P.F. Chang's ans Jasmin informed me that the food was still sitting there 45 minutes later. I asked to cancel and she said no and hung up. I called back and she sacked me to voice mail. I called from my kids phone and they picked up and got ahold of the manager. He said we cursed at Jasmin and that's why. We never did such a thing and encouraged him to listen to the recording. This is not the pfchangs I'm used to. First time going to this location. Upon arrival I was greeted well. I asked the host about my order to which she pointed me to the rear of the restaurant. It would've been nice to have signage either walking in or in the parking lot referencing this location. My order wasn't ready and I was outside the restaurant 10mins after my given ready time. The young man who brought the order was less than professional or warm. He swiped my card left my order on the counter handed me a receipt and walked away. Then I got my food. I ordered chicken lettuce wraps that smelled scorched and burnt. I tasted them and the filling was indeed burned. I couldn't eat it and it was missing rice sticks and all of the fixings. I haven't been in awhile so when I saw a BOGO promo I thought I would give it a go. The promo was buy one entree get a free new shrimp or chicken dish. Thinking it would be fun to bring friends, I called the restaurant and asked "If I order two entrees and two new dishes, is one or both comped on the deal?" The coupon doesn't say. The staffer didn't know so asked a manager. Two are free. So of course only one was free and the dick of a manager said he would allow it "just this one time". Ugh. That's why I don't use discounts. Hate it. Anyway, I was surprised the food was disappointing. Out of four dishes from sesame chicken (best) to Mongolian beef (tough) to the new dishes (bland) nothing was something I would order again. With tip, no drinks, and two free entrees I spent $60. I love me some P.F.Chang's!! The food is always good and they usually have some pretty good specials. This was the first time I have been to this location and it is the first time I have been to P.F. Chang's for lunch. Let me say I was very pleased with our choice for lunch because not only was our food good but our waiter Justin was EXCELLENT. He was funny, attentive and he told me I would regret not getting the crab wontons and I did... I had the honey chicken with the fried rice it was delicious. The portions are VERY lunch friendly so if you are hungry I suggest you try one of the add-ons which are $2.00. The food came out very quickly so this is definitely a place that would be great for lunch even if you work in the nearby city of Irving. read more

Been going to this restraunt for many years, I will not be going back again. In the last two years the physical condition of the establishment has deteriorated markedly. It's nOw worn and not maintained well. Actually dirty. Everywhere you look. Not only the establishment but the service staff as well. I wanted to walk out but did not want to make a scene. My server was in filthy, unkempt clothing. None of the servers had what I would have called a clean, neat, or professional appearance. And to top it off even the food was now down from it former excellent quality. Overall I'm being generous with 2 stars. This business really doesn't deserve even that. Sad really. Flew into DFW and stopped in at PF Chang's for a Sunday night dinner. Was greeted promptly at our table by Dara. Ordered a cocktail and a appetizer and they were delicious. Took quite a while however to get the waters and appetizer. The entrees came very promptly. Unfortunately the appetizer was quite spicy and I didn't receive a refill until I had asked three different servers. So I have visited PF Changs 3 times. Every visit is a reminder on why I'm not a fan. The service is slow and stuffy. The food is expensive and not that great. Their subsidiary, Pei Wei always puts out better food at a more affordable price. I've tried their Dynamite Shrimp and found it to not be explosive in taste (pun intended). TO be quite honest, I can't remember the other items I have tried as they left absolutely no impression on me. So the best way I can describe the other meals I've had is "It'll make a turd." This is my second review of P.F. Chang's. I wasn't exactly thrilled with this restaurant the first time and had no intention of going again, but we received a P.F. Chang's gift card so we figured what the heck. We went on a Tuesday at around 1:30 p.m. and the place was pretty empty. The hostess seated us immediately and told us our server would be right over. Our server was young, but it seems all the staff is young - I guess this is deliberate and in keeping with their "hip and cool" atmosphere. However, the server (who was probably my son's age) repeatedly used terms of endearment when addressing me - "babe", "honey" and "dear" seemed slightly inappropriate and odd to me. We settled on the "P. F. Chang's for Two" deal. For $39.95, you get a cup of soup, a starter, an entree and a dessert. I got the egg drop soup, we shared the lettuce wrap starter, had the Kung Po Chicken and Ginger Chicken entrees, and the Chocolate Raspberry Dessert Wantons. The food was good, not great, but good. The portions were average. The service left quite a bit to be desired. Our server (no clue what her name was, since servers don't wear name tags and she never mentioned this to us) disappeared for lengthy amounts of time. At one point we were waiting for drink refills and when I spotted her behind the glass partition, in the kitchen area, I was a little disgusted to see her eating food and licking her fingers. She was also fond of flirting with a particular male server, while twirling her braid. We also overheard another server loudly complaining that he would probably only "end up making 40 bucks" - I guess since the place was so empty. From start to finish we were in the restaurant for two hours, so don't plan on going if you only get an hour for lunch. It would probably have been quicker if our server didn't keep disappearing. While I believe in giving a place a second chance I'm still going to have to give a big NO to P. F. Chang's. I'm just glad I didn't have to shell out the $49.00 for lunch myself - which in my opinion is darn expensive for lunch. Save yourself some bucks and go to a Chinese buffet. I'm generally a fan of PF Chang's but this one fell way below what I've come to expect. This was a business dinner so we got there kind of early. They only wanted to sit us in the bar area which of course when it got closer to dinner time it was loud and we had people all around us waiting for a table. The waitress was super sweet but the amount of times she interrupted us to check on us was ridiculous. We had papers all over the table and were obviously deep in discussion and she KEPT asking us if we needed anything. I bet she asked us 20 times in the hour and half we were there. We were having drinks, apps and dinner so it wasn't like we were just wasting space and she was trying to move us along. Or maybe she was but we could have gotten out of there faster without all the "concern." The food was just okay. The edamame was so mushy and gross that I had to tell my business associate to stop eating it. He'd never had it before and I certainly didn't want that to be his first time with something sub par. I recently ordered delivery from PF Changs..I was really disappointed in what I received and paid $20 for which does not include the tip! I ordered the shrimp covered in some kind of candied orange sauce fried and white rice. It was terrible..the sauce covering the shrimp was hot like jalapeños..which they never mentioned in their menu that is it spicy..which I cannot tolerate! The white rice was dried out & had no taste at all..let's face it..it takes a lot to not cook rice. It is one of the easiest things for anyone to cook! Had not been to the restaurant in about a year. We went for dinner and it was not good. Husband had the pineapple pork and I had the mongolian beef. His dish came with cubes of pork that look like they had been cut from a roast. They were huge and tough. Inedible. My beef was just that.....slices of beef with a little sauce and a few green onion tops. It had little taste. My husband complained about his dish and the waiter sent over the manager. She was very nice and had him order another dish. He ordered a chicken dish, but it too was tasteless. We were very disappointed. Kudos to PF Chang's for listening to customers! Gave it another try for a friends birthday and have a new appreciation for an old fave. What's extra great if you prefer less stuff added to/coating your main ingredients, you can request less and they'll accommodate - score! The birthday celebration amounted to 8 of us, giving us a pretty good sampling, Three pairs shared the 4-course Prix-Fixe Menu at 2 for $39.95. Basically the menu has an assortment of items to pick from and each pair splits an appetizer, but each get their own cup soup and entree, then splits a dessert. If you want something not on the Prix-Fixe menu, you are welcome to upgrade. Almost forgot, before the orders came out, there were, I'm assuming, rice chips? with a tang sauce. Really interesting and a nice addition for a bit of flavorful crunch while waiting for dinner and drinks. The meal came out pretty darn quick and was piping hot for a busy eve. The eggdrop soup and sweet & sour were both very good. Lettuce wraps are always a hit. The eggrolls were crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and the dumplings were also very good. Main course included the Mongolian Beef ordered by a few at the table, LoMein very flavorful and the Shanghai Waldorf Salad looked wonderful (didn't get a chance to try but was told it was great :) Portions were a good size for a special menu deal. We all had some left to go. Desserts were really interesting! A first for all of us were dessert wontons stuffed with either chocolate raspberry or vanilla cream - yumm. But if you only have enough room for a bite or two, then the 2 wontons that are included with the 2 meal deal will do you fine. What can i say.. it's PF Chang's. This location is particularly busy anytime of the day, anytime of the week. The average wait time for dinner is 1~1.5 hours, and this really isn't worth my time or money. While I can commend them on trying to make Chinese food to be put on the caliber of fine dining, the taste and the tackiness of each location is just not cutting it. Fancy Chinese restaurants need to exude more... class than just PF Chang's, and I just think they try too hard. The healthiness aspect of it isn't doing well either. Although I crave some Americanized Chinese food from time to time, PF Chang's bland foods do not fulfill that at all. Service is abysmal at best, and it doesn't deserve the hype it builds itself to be. But I will probably be back. Came here on a Thursday night for a book club. Met there at 5:30 to sit in the bar for a bit for happy hour. The bartender Amanda was AMAZING!! She had great recommendations for drinks. She also suggested a group of 12 of us could sit in the bar and enjoy happy hour until 7. She was attentive, funny, and willing to help us with anything we wanted. The food was good but I feel it was overall expensive for what we got. I ordered the dumplings which were good flavor and cooked perfectly. Party of 3. We were told it would be 40min, an hour later we checked on our table and the rude hostess said 10 more minutes. Fifteen minutes later we checked again and our table still wasn't ready. Finally the hostess said she was ready for us but made us wait another 10 min before she sat us. I guess our buzzer was broken because it hadn't buzzed even after we paid for our meal and the hostess never asked for it. The waiter wasn't that bad, but we've had better. He didn't mix our hot sauces & brought our bottles of beer and didn't pour them into the glass for us like they do at other locations. Also, we had the salt & pepper calamari but the small bowls on the plate that hold the salt & pepper mixture & sauce were both empty. I'm not sure why P.F. Chang's doesn't have a higher rating in general. It's a major chain, and as such it must be rated differently than a single location business. I actually thoroughly enjoy P.F. Chang's, and there are a few key reasons for this. They have a Sea bass entree for $26 bucks that features an 8oz portion, if you break this down most stores sell Chilean Sea bass for $29.99 a lb; that's $15 for a 1/2lb portion, and that's why I find it to be very sensibly priced. When you look at the wine list there are also plenty of fairly priced options there. For example a Rioja Alavesa from Artadi is only $40 (2010 vintage), this wine typically retails for $29.99, so only a $10 premium. I for one love to be able to go out and not get brutally ripped off with wines sold at exactly two times their retail price. As far as authenticity goes, it's a chain. Authentic Chinese food would likely not be tolerated well by the masses, and this is reflected by their menu. Everything I've tried there has been acceptable at worst, and delightful at best. It is disappointing that they removed the duck entree from the menu. From what I remember this cleaver concoction was two duck legs (confit) seared and served with some vegetables. I found it to be very delicious and again reasonably priced. The fact the duck wasn't "fresh" actually worked in it's favor, delivering a salty, savory treat which is far more feasible than authentic Peking duck. read more

The sea bass is also something to try. I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. We ate there over a week ago, a late afternoon lunch. We had excellent service from a girl named Kelly. She was sweet and helpful. She did a wonderful job keeping us happy. At the end of our meal she made us to go drinks and sweetened them up for us. She was so kind throughout the whole meal. What would make a food-adventurer like myself go to a chain-restaurant version of a Chinese restaurant? A gift card, what else, which the family was given as a Christmas present! You should have seen the crowd waiting to get in on a Saturday night. You'd think they were giving away free food. Americans with no imagination, how they love their chain restaurants! The good news is the food wasn't so bad. It ranged from "very good" to "fair/poor": Chicken Lettuce Wraps--very good. Mu Shu Chicken--good (hard to ruin that one!) Wok-Seared Lamb--good, except that they serve it over a bed of cold lettuce so that it becomes instantly cold. Orange Peel Beef--fair-to-poor, very tough chunks of beef. Of couse, the food is over-priced, and the portions are a little skimpy. And we had to wait an hour and twenty minutes to get in, but I signed in and took the beeper, went home (only 3 miles away), and came back right when they were cleaning our table. This eatery is located off a highway with a nice appeal to it from the outside. Upon entering, a group of six was seated right away. The host greeted us with a menu and advised the service waitress would arrive shortly. About four minutes after being seated, the waitress arrived. She welcomed us and provided a overview of the menu options. This eatery offers dishes that can be ordered as sides or entrees. On my particular visit, the group ordered shrimp, beef and brockly, brown rice and white rice. The food arrived to our table steaming hot. The beef was salty upon first taste. Tried a second piece and salty again. I didn't partake in the shrimp. The rice was sticky, but didn't have a flavor to it that made you want to return to order more. It was your typical rice taste. Throughout our meal, our waitress was excellent in following up and checking in. She filled up waters without being asked and she even provided us with a desert menu without being asking. I appreciated her dedication to serving others. Her name started with an M. I'll leave it at that. The pricing is overpriced. The beef plate was about $13 and shrimp plate was $18. Personally, the taste of food did not stand out to me as did the price for its lack of flavor. I didn't enjoy the food. I attempted to try it, but this isn't a place I'll returning into. read more

I do not get the popularity of this place. After being told over and over again how great PF Chang's is, I finally agreed to go and accompanied a friend. Based on his raving, I was expecting to be blown away by the awesomeness. I am underwhelmed. Why does the waitress bring sauces to the table and start mixing a spoon of this and that together? That seemed very bizarre to me. We had the spareribs for an appetizer. They were very sweet, as if drizzled with jelly just before serving. They were also a little dry. I had the Vegetables in Coconut Curry Sauce. I will say the vegetables were cooked well, but the sauce was scant and was very bland. I basically had dry stir fried vegetables (snow peas, onion, carrot, broccoli). My friend had a chicken and vegetable dish. He is a fan of the place and even he said that his dish was not as good as it usually is. We went on a Thursday night and the place was packed. All I kept wondering is why. I did like the passion fruit tea. The waitress was quite prompt with the refills. I won't return. read more

My husband, son and I ate lunch here today (Sunday). We were highly disappointed with the whole experience from the waiter to the food itself. I ordered pork lo mein and, while it came out piping hot, it tasted like plastic! My husband ordered beef lo mein and it didn't taste that way. He tasted mine and completely agreed that it tasted like plastic! The waiter didn't come by to check on us after the food was delivered but I happened to catch him and reported it. He said, "do you want me to have it remade?" Hmm, of course I don't want to eat cooked plastic! The price of food here is outrageous for what you get; two orders of lo mein and an order of dumplings cost $30 before a tip. The service used to be excellent, today's service was subpar! We called ahead and said we would have a large party of 12.. They were most helpful on the phone. I arrived and my parents were sitting in the waiting area, I look and see about 7 tables with people and plenty open tables, and I am my mom with a hurt back why aren't you sitting at the table? My mother tells me "we can't sit at the table until we have 5 people or more" First and foremost you would think any restaurant would be accommodating to a large party especially a establishment under Center bridge partners and located centrally near the highway. I proceed to ask again to the young lady behind the desk why we cannot sit at the table "that's our policy, you have to have 5 or more people to sit at a table" I look around at about 8 tables filled with people and ask to speak to a manager. The manager comes out and I ask him why my parents cannot sit at the table, when you restaurant is half empty. He says they have the policy so you don't sit alone at the table? Are you serious? Both papadeux and brickhouse just down the way would never treat a large party the same way. I used to love to come here and enjoy time with family and friends, however this will be my last visit to this establishment. Standard PF Changs- usually not too much of a wait, service is decent. I do think PF's menu has gone downhill a little bit in recent years- they took away the Moo Sho Pork which was always a fave, and they don't give you as much rice as they used to. I'm not sure what got into my wife this weekend -- she had a craving for just about every chain restaurant. We started our weekend-o-chains with P.F. Chang's for lunch on Friday. As other reviewers have said, you pretty much have to go to P.F. Chang's for LUNCH if you don't want to wait an absurd amount of time for a table. I was raised on good 'ol NYC Chinatown food (Read: Wo-Hop) and, IMHO, it doesn't get any better than that. You can stumble drunk into their basement, get some great food at any time of the day or night, and you can pay for it with the spare change left in your pocket. As anyone who's ever been to P.F. Chang's knows, that's not the image they're trying to project. But, hel-lo McFly, I don't live anywhere near Wo-Hop anymore, and most of the Chinese food around here is downright terrible. So, though it pains me to say this -- P.F. Chang's is about as good as it gets around here. With that in mind, the food at P.F. Changs is pretty good. Their spring rolls or lettuce wraps make good appetizers. Their orange peel shrimp is outstanding, and their lo-mein is better than decent. Over the years it seems like I've had everything on the menu, and "better than decent," is probably how I would describe most things. Some of their desserts are exceptional. I haven't gotten it recently, but the "Great Wall of" Chocolate (Cake) is awesome and will instantly put you into a diabetic coma. So, why only 3 stars? My gut feel is a 3.5, but I am rounding down this time because of price. Holy ****, every time I eat here, I just can't help but feel like I've been mugged when I leave. There may be cute hostesses, great, personable servers, and good food, but I damn near **** myself (as if I'd been clubbed repeatedly over the head. By thugs. With a baseball bat) every time I get the $60+ bill for Chinese food for 2 (incl. appetizer, dessert, and non-alcoholic drinks.) It's just wrong to pay that much for Chinese food. Amazing location, food, drinks and service.. it has all ! Our server was amazing and very attentive. We loved the dynamite shrimp and crispy green beans, it goes really well with cocktails. If you like greasy Chinese food, dont come here. Everything is presented well and tastes "light" compared to your typical fast food Chinese joint. "Asian Inspired" is the word used alot here. The Mongolian beef was tender with no gristle and perfectly seasoned. The sesame chicken was filled with plenty of big chunks of chicken and tasted a little on the bland side but still good. The chicken fried rice was perfectly cooked and had plenty of chicken in it. And my favorite, chicken lo mein with no vegies....to die for. I usually have them make it spicy for me. Our server (Gerrard? Sorry l that might be wrong) was very attentive and took time to answer questions about the menu. This is our "go to" restaurant when it comes to Chinese. The kids meals are pretty weak though. Luckily we had plenty of food to share. Side note. Its a nice place but plenty of people were in there wearing shorts and flip flops (ridiculous) so if your worried about what to wear.....dont. I thought I didn't like PF Chang's after eating at the one it Ft. Worth a couple of years ago, but a friend got me a gift card. As a girl who never turns down a free meal, I gave it another chance. We sat in the bar area because the wait seems like it takes forever here. I've never sat it out myself, but there are always people waiting outside. Also, I like bar areas anyway because sitting on tall chairs makes me feel powerful. We had the most amazing service, with a knowledgeable waitress and bartender helping us pick out an awesome bottle of wine and hooking us up with free spicy green beans. Hooray! We just went back last night to see if the experience could be relived, and although we didn't get any freebies, we still had a yummy meal, a great waitress, and WAY quicker service at the bar than those poor fools hanging out outside waiting for their little buzzers to go off. The bar is non-smoking and they seem to have consistently good servers in there, so there's really no reason not to take advantage of the open seats. read more
