We stopped in here for lunch after dropping a friend at the airport and Chang's is on the way home. We were a little surprised that the parking lot was basically empty at 12-noon. That tends to be a red flag. We pressed on and were greeted warmly and seated in a comfy booth. Our server was prompt and friendly and took care of our order. We started with a egg roll and some egg drop soup. The soup was good but the egg roll was a bit overcooked. Not bad, but still, it detracted. I had the orange chicken lunch special and it was very good. Certainly a decent portion for lunch and I was satisfied. By the time we were leaving the place was filling up so maybe we were just early birds for their lunch rush. read more

My recent visit to PF Chang's delivered on both food quality and service. The meal started with the pork fried dumplings, which were excellent. The skillet arrived piping hot with a clean sizzle, and the dumplings paired well with the standout chili sauce that added just the right amount of heat. For the main course, the Singapore Street Noodles were well prepared and balanced. I do miss the sweet potato glass noodles the dish originally featured, but the current version was still enjoyable and executed properly. Dessert was the Great Wall of Chocolate cake, which lived up to its reputation. It was moist, rich, and exactly what a chocolate-focused dessert should be. Adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream elevated it even further. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. My visit to PF Chang's today was everything I didn't know I needed. Everything was wonderful from the service to the food to the cocktails. Jewel was a fantastic waiter and was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. It had been years since I've been to PF Chang's as many of them have closed down. I saw an advertisement for their seasonal frosted cranberry cosmopolitan and it looked delicious, so I went for lunch today to try it. It was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to have another one. They have lunch specials at great prices. I got the spicy chicken with lo mein, hot and sour soup and pork egg rolls. All of it was a 10/10 and I highly recommend. I'd like to share some feedback as a long-time fan of this restaurant. I've always enjoyed coming here, but during my recent visit, I noticed a few areas that could use some attention. The cleanliness could be improved -- from the entrance to the tables, there was quite a bit of dust, and several tables felt sticky, which eventually led us to sit at the bar instead. As for the food, it wasn't quite up to the usual standards. The green beans were overly greasy (perhaps draining or placing a napkin underneath could help), and the fried rice tasted different from before -- it seems the flavours have changed. The orange chicken, unfortunately, was not as good as it used to be. On the bright side, the Mongolian beef was delicious, just as always. Portions also feel smaller with each visit. I completely understand that costs have gone up, but I'd much rather see a slight price increase than a compromise in taste or quality. We went there for Valentine's Day dinner with my mother in law , 3 of us. The only negative was booking time . Restaurant booked everyone at 7:30pm! Therefore, we had to wait 40 mins to get our table . Once we got our table everything went smooth and great ! No o e can beat $89.99 5 course dinner for two ! I'm genuinely surprised this location doesn't have better reviews! My family dined here the Friday following Christmas, and had a delicious meal with memorable service. P.F. Chang's is one of my favorite chain restaurants, no matter what part of the country I'm in. It's consistently tasty, and therefore was at the top of our list after a busy holiday where we'd been doing a lot of cooking. Our group of eight made a reservation for dinner the day-of, and had no trouble getting a table. The restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived - which makes sense since it was a Friday night. I don't remember our sever's name, but he and his team were quick! Our meals came out hot and fresh less than 10 minutes after we placed our order. Another thing I love about P.F. Chang's - the portions are HUGE and easily shareable. We ordered "family-style," and shared the Singapore Street Noodles, the Crispy Honey Chicken, the Mongolian Beef, and Chang's Spicy Chicken ... along with some Crab Wontons and Chicken Lettuce Wraps. This ended up being the perfect amount of food for our group, and it was all tasty. My favorite (and usual go-to) is the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, but I also loved getting to try the crispy, saucy Mongolian Beef! read more

Shockingly I have never been to a P.F. Chang's before and decided the day after Valentine's Day was the perfect day to try it. My boyfriend and I were celebrating Valentines Day a day late and they had a Valentines menu available. I like the atmosphere and vibe inside the restaurant. It was romantic and dim and we got a nice big booth to ourselves. It seemed very private and intimate which was the vibe we were going for. I'm glad I made reservations because the couple that walked in before us were told the wait would be a while unless they had a reservation...planning ahead paid off! Our waiter was so nice. He explained the chef's menu and all the favorites. For $20/person we each got a soup or salad, appetizer for the table, and an entree. The food ordered: hot n sour soup, egg drop soup, chicken lettuce wraps, sesame chicken w/ steamed rice, and crispy honey chicken. The egg drop soup was different but tasty. I enjoyed the crunchy strips that come on the side. The chicken lettuce wraps definitely stand up to their hype. Absolutely delicious and fresh, a must have. Both the chicken entrees were delicious. Lightly crispy, saucy, sweet and savory. SO GOOOOD!!! But the one thing I can't stop thinking about and will have to try to remake is the lo mein...what the heck are the ingredients?! Magic? I hate writing this because I've always liked P.F. Chang's food. The flavors are still there. The problem is delivery--and it's bad enough now that it's changing the whole experience. At this point, P.F. Chang's delivery quality has dropped to what I'd call average-to-poor Chinese takeout, which is not where a premium-priced chain should land. This isn't a one-off or a single location issue. I've ordered delivery recently from both Houston and Dallas, and the results were nearly identical. The food arrives barely warm, often tipped over, and smeared along the sides of oversized, flimsy containers. Whatever happens between the kitchen and my door--likely the reality of Uber Eats-style delivery--it's clearly not being accounted for in the packaging. Sauces spill, entrées slide, and by the time you open the container it looks like the food lost a bar fight. The most baffling example: a slice of key lime pie delivered in a container almost four times larger than the pie itself. After bouncing around in transit, it arrived exactly how you'd imagine--destroyed. To be clear, the food still tastes like P.F. Chang's. The recipes haven't failed. The execution of delivery has. When you're paying P.F. Chang's prices, you expect the meal to survive the trip. Until packaging and delivery handling improve, I won't be ordering P.F. Chang's for delivery again. A rep brought some lunch over from PF Chang's. The dynamite shrimp is always delicious; has a lot of flavor and a generous portion. I do think their sushi rolls are quite average. They don't taste very fresh which is not ideal Also, the salad was a bit subpar...Overall, would probably opt for one of their rice bowls next time. read more

First off this time my food order was delivered by Door Dash and my dasher went above and beyond. On the other hand my food order was my normal go to Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Chicken Pad Thai, the chicken for the lettuce wraps was cold and dry. The chicken in the Pad Thai was hard and tough like it was leftover from yesterday. Also, I ordered Chicken Pad Thai not Green Onion/Scallion Pad Thai. Man...I haven't been to PFCHANGS in almost a decade, and what a decline. The quality of the food was okay, if I wanted just rice. We had two different dumplings; one fried pork, the other steamed shrimp. They were okay. Two soups- the hot and sour was lacking something, but was okay. One egg roll, okay. The three entrees were primarily rice, with very little chicken. We all commented on this. The Great Wall cake was goodish, but not what I remembered. The presentation was sloppy, when it used to be pretty fancy and elegant. We all threw felt is was reheated frozen food, not made from scratch. Overall is was a great disappointment. It was a birthday lunch that was forgettable, even regrettable. The food at Panda express is much better by a huge margin- more flavor, better ingredients, more bang for the buck. Came here with my coworker for lunch and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive and polite. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken from the lunch menu and added a hot and sour soup as well as the vegetable spring roll. The hot and sour soup could've been warmer as it came out lukewarm and it was more "sour than it was hot". The vegetable spring roll had a nice bite to it and was enjoyable. The sweet and sour chicken was ok but within a few bites of the veggies and/or chicken there was a spice that was extremely overpowering (it tasted of ginger). We had the absolute worst experience ever. We made a reservation online - which was perfect! We ordered our son's food first bc he was tired. Before his food came we ordered our drinks and our food. 25 minutes went by and we didn't have our beer and glass of wine, so I went to the bar and got it myself. We started with Pork and Shrimp dumplings steamed. The Shrimp was better. The pork tasted bland. I had the Pepper Steak which was rich and savory. I always had a memory of PF Changs offering consistent standard Chinese cuisine at affordable prices. Out and about running errands on Sunday we stopped into PF in Grapevine off 114. The location is convenient and the restaurant was clean and the service was good. We started with the blistered shashito peppers, tasty and tender these were the highlight of the meal For entrees I had thr beef with broccoli - the beef was tender but the sauce had a flavor that lingered on your tongue afterwards and not in a pleasant way - to much after taste. My wife had the Buddha's feast and added shrimp for an extra protein - the disappointment here was the dish was supposed to come with tofu in it standard and I counted 3 pieces of tofu meanwhile the shrimp were supposed to be $3 additional and we were upcharged $4.75. My lady wanted to try their HH, so we slid here after work on a Thursday....there were less than 10 tables occupied and once we were seated, they advised...you have to sit in the bar for the HH specials "umm okay"...so we moved to the bar. The bartender gave us time to browse the menu and took our drink orders...which we both had the zen margaritas. Once she came back, we wanted to sip on our drinks & chat and then we'd order. They have the "chefs feast" advertised at $18.99 per person, family style menu for parties of 2 or more. Maybe we didn't understand it clearly, because we wanted to share 1 chefs feast, which advertised as soup or salad, an appetizer and an entree. We ordered and she then informed us, the appetizer only comes with it if we do 2 chefs feast....huh?! We just did the chefs feast and did a HH appetizer. I can honestly and truly say....the service was cool....she definitely needed more help as the evening went on...the food....below basic....this wasn't worth the prices, the drive and as far as I'm concerned....they need to clarify the advertisement of that chefs feast special. What is going on at PF Chang's? I've lived in Grapevine over 18 years and we used to frequent PF Chang's and have always loved it. I haven't been in probably 10 years. I met a friend there last night and we sat in the bar. There was one person working the bar (drinks and food service). He finally came over after we sat there 15 mins and acted rushed. We quickly tried to give him a drink order and he was irked and let us know that others were waiting for their drink. No worries, we can wait. Drink was just wine so it came out fairly quickly and he did upgrade us due to them being out of the wine on happy hour. We ordered food and it took another 15 mins or so to come out. We had a TO GO order for a client and while that came out much quicker, they put a chocolate cake on top of HOT food and it was melting so we asked for another bag. We then asked for our check which also took forever. We handed him the receipt he gave us and two CC's for our meal while in the bar and asked him to split it. We handed him a 3rd CC along with the itemized receipt for the TO GO order. When it came back to us, he had charged the TO GO order on my CC personally and split the other with my friend's CC and the Corporate card for the the TO GO order. We handed him these with the receipts separately so he would know which to charge. While we extended grace to him because he was alone, he just wasn't the right person to put in the bar serving alone. He was struggling and lacked basic customer service skills and appeared to be irritated with his job. While the bar had a decent amount of people in there, the restaurant as a whole was NOT busy so I fault management (and yes, we did call the manager over and he was equally not in tune with basic customer service) as they could have rectified this by shifting a staff member over. We watched one couple come sit down in the bar (it was HH after all and great prices) and after being ignored for more than 20 mins they got up and walked over to the restaurant side, which I presume 'might' have been better service. FOOD - The food was delicious as it has always been. I've always loved their food. It's a shame that service has diminished to this level. This solidified for me why we don't dine at the restaurant. Being it was lunch, it was the down sized option which was still plenty of food! Order arrived on time, utensils, napkins and all was still hot. Food was timely, service was in point and it was a nice atmosphere. Taste lacked luster. It was nothing to write home about. I've had better tasting food at P.F. Chang. It's a hit or miss chance at getting food that tastes good. Prices were good. I would have paid more for better. I was surprisingly charged a no alcohol tax. The waitress asked the who manager said it was nothing so I crossed it off the receipt and subtracted the tax also known as "nothing" before adding the tip.
