The fried zucchini doesn't translate well to to-go, so if you order that, eat it in-house and fresh (otherwise it gets soggy, which was a huge bummer, I was really looking forward to these. Hopefully they can perfect those. The radish side is my FAV. So crunchy and cool and subtly sweet, perfect pair with the soy garlic and spicy soy garlic wings. The fries are also good (and take away ok, too!). 20 Korean fried wings are not the same as 20 other wings-- these are FILLING. I can usually eat 10-12 wings at WingStop, but only really 6-8 here unless I gorge myself. I think the larger drumsticks are good, but wow, they're a lot! If you want more meat with less tasty fried outside, that's the one for you! No real comments on service since we've ordered Togo only so far; but pickup is easy! And when they gave us coleslaw instead of radish, it was a very simple swap. The restaurant itself is modern and spacious (see pics). Glad to see a KBBQ chicken spot in town! Their staff felt very young and inexperienced. I really liked the host but you could tell the waitresses need more training. We felt very rushed to leave after we paid our bill by our waitress as she came back every few minutes to continue to clear our table. At one point, we had no dish left on the table and felt the need to leave early As we were leaving the hostess went out of her way to say goodbye to us so that safe the experience Wings were good! Decent pricing, 10 pieces for 13.99. You can choose two flavors and it comes with radish or coleslaw. Sad they ran out of radish but their coleslaw was surprisingly very flavorful! Our group of 10 dined here last night during their soft launch. There was about a 20-minute wait to be seated and we were ultimately seated in their outdoor space. The tables were able to comfortably seat our party without having us feel squeezed. We also appreciated being seated at the back of the outfit space so we had plenty of room and didn't have to talk too loudly when conversing since no other parties were right next to us. We were told their full bar was not open yet but they had wine, beer, and soju available. Their expectation is that the full bar (and pickled radish) will be ready to go by the time they have their grand opening in early April. Now for the food... Our group ordered several items to share. Of the items I tried: - Soy garlic & Spicy wings: both were delicious, cooked to perfection, and served at peak freshness. 10/10 - Bulgogi fries: tasty and a good contrast to the wings. 8/10 - Seasoned fries: seasoned well and perfectly crispy. Didn't need ketchup although I can see that pairing working well. 7.5/10 - Cole slaw: crisp, had a nice tang, was cooling after bites of the spicy wings, and again a nice contrast to the richness of the wings. 8/10. In addition to the food satisfying us, our servers were very friendly and accommodating. While they are still perfecting the order taking process and speed of jotting everything down, we have no doubt any minor shortcomings in that department will get ironed out very soon. We also appreciated the manager & other staff memebers coming by to the check on us and see what we thought of everything. Went for VIP friends and family event! Was very happy to be chosen as VIP guest, received invitation email but didn't know we had to RSVP again. I wonder how different this is from spicy. This is a good spicy level, not too spicy, good kick. Korean street corn 3/5 - this was okay, I think I was expecting the skillet style. Small portion, overall good sweetness to it. Wish cheese didn't get hard quick. Seasoned fries 5/5 - nice flavor and I love the cheese and dried herbs. The seasoning was great for these fries, i just wish it sticked more on the fries. Pickled radish - 5/5 best pickled radish I love it! Good portion! I can eat this as a light snack. We arrived on a Monday night and the restaurant was nearly empty. We ordered the Sotteok Sotteok and asked the server how to pronounce it. She replied, "I have no idea." We also asked if we could get the sauce on the side, but she said no because it was "too concentrated on its own." We ordered an 8-piece chicken drumstick with two different sauces, but it came out with the same sauce on all the chicken. The chicken itself tasted old, was dry, and clearly wasn't fresh. We were also surprised that no coleslaw or pickled radish was served with the chicken. The server seemed more focused on being on the phone than helping customers. Great flavor! We ordered right when they opened, so it was a bit chaotic at first, but we totally understood, they were just getting started. The food itself was delicious, but our k meal order for 8-10 people came with a box of fries that was almost empty. I could literally see the bottom, so it definitely wasn't enough to feed a group that size. Nobody wants skinny tenders! We've seen this in the past. Opening week everything is great, from flavors to expected portions to service. But a week later (repeat customer) the 8 piece chicken tenders were skinny unlike the ones last week which were thicker. Seems like there would be a way for the kitchen to insure proper portion sizes. On the positive side the zesty zucchini is flavorful, but yes would it hurt to size it up a bit for 5.99? We asked for extra soy garlic on the bird and that really upped the flavor. Enough rambling. We will try Bonchon one more time and hope the tenders are more meat than crunch. read more

The food was tasty and the restaurant is nice. My biggest complaint is that our waitress was overworked. She had no help in the dining area until we were about ready to leave. Not good for business. Sophia was polite, worked hard to serve us and other customers as well.
