This is the place for breakfast. Their eggs Benedict was great according to my husband. I had the protein pancake made with walnuts, quinoa, blueberries and oats. They were great so the next visit I had the protein waffle and it was good as welll. The women working were great they were so hard working. Food was quick to come after our order. The restaurant was bright, cheery, and clean. We didn't have a problem getting seated although when we left it was busy. I grabbed some take out for my coworker and I from here the other day and the food was pretty darn good! The restaurant look clean in general and the people were nice inside. I tried the Mexican fit that had white and red quinoa, along with avocado and other mixed veggies. The quinoa was fanatic and cooked to perfection. It really tasted like such a fresh breakfast. My coworker ordered the Wolf Pack which looked delicious nut not as healthy as my option. It came with bacon and was smothered with sausage gravy. Four stars only because the end bill for such simple dishes was so high in a small town area. Other than that this place is great! The food is very good. I had a crying pig omelet with added mushrooms which was fantastic. It comes with toast and a potato dish. I chose hash browns and asked for it to be thin and duper crispy. I didn't really get it back thin and crispy but it was fine. The hash browns are not seasoned at all so they were in dire need of salt. My mom got the Vanessa Benedict and she loved it so much she didn't let me try it at all lol. My dad got the turkey wrap in a Spanish tortilla. It came to the came much much later than the other dishes which came together which was an awkward lag. It was very very good though! I also go the iced chai latte and would not recommend. In the Keys..... it's Sunday morning and everyone has lines out the door for breakfast. We are driving and I pull up my trusty *Yelp app and VOILA! Interesting enough.... a 10 minute wait. The menu was amazing. I ordered the eggs, hatch green Chile over a bed of grits.... Holy delish. My granddaughter ordered the hash.... Not a bite left and the hubs had the Loko Moko. WE WERE SCAMMED. They don't give you a paper receipt (said the printer is out of order) or tell you that they tack on an extra 20% gratuity so you pay it without realizing and adding your own tip on top of that 20%. We thought the bill sounded high, so they then told us that there's an automatic gratuity added for a table of 6 or more. We were a table of 5. We then asked if it was posted somewhere, they said they had to print up new menus (so not advertised anywhere). SHADY AND UNETHICAL!!! read more

I want to say it's worth it.. but it's not. The food was great, however the whole experience was awful. We had to wait; which is not uncommon for a Sunday morning. To check in to put your name down was not the norm nor coordinated right. You had to walk in and find the notebook by the bar to put your name down & your party size. No body even greeted us or told us to do so. Another guest told me to write our name down on the paper. The waitress who was also acting as the hostess came out a few times to call parties in. She skipped us not once but twice to seat people that arrived after us. One of the parties were bigger than us, a party of 4 and we were only a party of 2.. their time management is not executed properly. It's a shame because the food is actually good, but they seem to be understaffed and don't know how to manage their tables. We ordered our drinks & food together, and that was the last we saw our waitress. It took over 40 minutes to get our food, which she brought out the wrong thing at first. No body checked on us after they brought us our food and our check was placed on our table 10 minutes later - as if we were now being rushed out. read more

We stumbled across this place for breakfast and have eaten here twice during our visit. It is amazing! It is tucked away in a strip mall but the logo makes it easy to find. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I asked and was told that it was started by the young lady that served us and her husband. The food is plentiful and more than enough to eat. I had Daniel's Combo which came with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausages and 2 pieces of bacon. The meat was delicious and the pancakes were so fluffy. I got pancakes again on my second visit because they were so good. The atmosphere inside is welcoming. They also use the Toast system for orders which allows you to scan the barcode on the receipt and pay via your phone. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. read more

Honestly Surprised it was featured on tv. The chicken with the chicken and waffles was rather... light. But the waffle was good. The banana nut French toast was great. But it's not a "great" I haven't had before. Kind of tastes like banana foster. Also had a side of cheese eggs that were good but brought out a good 10 minutes prior to the rest of the food. But I'd rather it hot and early than cold Tho. The over Easy coffee was ok, had to sweeten it with about 4 packets of sugar. Was not a fan of the Per'la coffee at all. Funky specials and omelettes are shared on a chalkboard. Service was good overall. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and was very disappointed with it. It was a toasted hamburger bun with ham and a frozen pulled bbq pork (with that fake liquid smoke flavor) instead of proper pork shoulder in a cubano. Not good. The rest of the meal was impressive for my wife and daughter that had m&m pancakes and eggs Benny. I never leave reviews but here I am. Waited 1 hour for our food, it was cold and absolutely repulsive and i am easy to please. It was literally cat turd Benedict with the worst hollidaise sauce known to man kind .. Sat for my hour long doodie breakfast with a empty cup the entire meal. Want ice? They give none. Every table near us in the restaurant said food sucked, service sucked, also waited forever. Staff is rude and miserable. They gave zero cares. That was THE worst breakfast and experience i think I've ever had in my 37 years of life. The "pulled pork" Bene looked like something my cat literally threw up on a cold soggy biscuit. The sourdough basil pesto egg sandwich with the tator tots was incredible. Ask for an extra side of pesto to dunk them in, you won't regret it. The interior is pretty nice, but it's stuck in a strip mall that keeps this place from really popping with personality. Really great, fresh breakfast! Prices are very reasonable and the portions are more than generous. We had a big group and they were very accommodating. I was a little sad their location didn't have any of the brunch cocktails promoted on their website but the food surely made up for it. My husband got the Breakfast Burrito and devoured it. I created my own Omelette which was so filling and delicious. The eggs were cooked perfect and the hash browns were a perfect accompaniment. Our friends also raved about the Chicken and Waffles. went to the keys for a day on New Year's, so we expected it to be busy. it's a cute little place for breakfast, seating is limited so just be aware there may be a wait time. we ordered the chicken and waffles, the waffle dogs, the eggs benedict hatch 505, and the breakfast burrito enchilada style. I enjoyed the eggs benedict which were like a pulled pork in green chili with hollandaise sauce. the hash browns were not the best and that is why I took one star off because it is a breakfast place and I expected the hashbrowns to be good. the rest of the food my friends all liked, the chicken and waffles were great and the waffle dogs are basically like corn dogs but with waffle batter and those were yummy too. it's a good breakfast place and I would recommend trying it out, but maybe order different hashbrowns like tater tot's or other ones because the regular hashbrowns were not that good. read more

This is an excellent breakfast spot! The over easy iced coffee was sweet but good. The huevos rancheros was one of the tastiest I've ever had, but also a bit spicy so just be aware if you have a low spice tolerance. They have lots of parking since it's in a shopping center. Over Easy Restaurant in Tavernier auto-grats you if you have a party of 5 or more. Not only do they auto grat you, they give you less than exceptional customer service and have the audacity to provide themselves with 20% gratuity. It wasn't disclosed if that's your question. Oh, and our party was comprised of myself, my husband, and kids aged nine, seven, three and zero. 10/10 would not recommend for that alone. They did tell us after running our card they give 10% off for locals. read more
