    Ribeye* 13 oz.

Several have commented on the service here, but our server Amber was super nice, hospitable, and super fast! Very friendly and great fantastic service! And on today, March 7, 2026, the host was a super nice guy as well and greeted us promptly and seated us right away! The wedge salad is served as a generous portion with blue cheese, crumbles crumbling off the side of the plate! Fabulous fresh Risp, lettuce and crispy bacon bits a generous portion of tomatoes onions were rough, chopped, but work well the size of the wedge. The coconut shrimp are very large so now you get six pieces instead of eight because of the size. They were OK. The shrimp tastes a bit imitation to me. (But I'm no expert on shrimp as I avoided them for 20 years. ) Husband says they taste like shrimp but aren't seasoned as the used to be. The marmalade dipping sauce is OK. The ribeye was well cooked well seasoned tender and flavorful. In the side of broccoli seemed fresh. Overall, it was a great dining experience. The only negative is that the napkins smelled foul. like it was washed and dirty dish water and then rolled up to dry on the sidewalk in the sun. But I just pushed it aside.

Things definitely improved on this visit. Sat af bar and had $15 special. Ths grilled shrimp was well seasoned and cooked and the rice pilaf was fluffy. The baked potato soup to start was loaded and of course bread was great.

I used to come here a lot even when I was younger with my family. This time. I ordered delivery of the potato bacon soup and the kingsland pasta of shrimp and steak. I will say I'm not impressed and honestly disappointed if I spent 50 bucks on this. The soup would've been amazing if it wasn't so salty. It tastes like a regular loaded baked potato soup with green onion and bacon but it was so salty. Then the pasta ‍. I can't even. The taste of it was fine. It really tasted fine. But presentation wise and quality wise was terribly. I can't believe I got this itty bitty scrap of steak and I don't even know about the shrimp. Looks absolutely NOTHING like the photo. In the photo on the menu it shows a lot more steak and shrimp. The shrimp in the menu photo is also a dark red color and these are not. I'm not sure if this is the same type of shrimp. I asked for medium rare and did not get medium rare. Very disappointed. If you would not serve this on a plate in a restaurant why in the hell would you send it to delivery?

Sat and waited for a server no one came , so sat in bar and still , no one. I left and gave my money to cold beer and cheeseburgers. Get it together outback. It was dead in there and I see why. Crap service.

I have been coming here for years. Today was my wife's birthday and was treated to a birthday dessert which is always appreciated. There was a miss understanding on the price of a bottle of wine and the manager was more than considerate in the adjustment. Much appreciated. You will not be disappointed if you eat here.

Great dinner! Had a newer server and she was great! Food was excellent, hot, just as ordered. Had the bloomin onion (of course) along with steak and shrimp. Server was super attentive without interrupting etc. have been coming here for years and keep coming back!!

Well now that I was feeling better I came out. I was craving French onion soup. The broth was good, I mentioned to the waiter, there is NO ONION,he said he mentioned it to the kitchen and said he was told it was a bad batch! And they still wanted to charge me! Wow! Sent a message to the contact as I was asked!

We usually frequent Steak 44 when celebrating our birthdays (our entire family has September birthdays!), and it has become a tradition we look forward to year after year. From the moment you walk in, the experience is nothing short of exceptional. The service is impeccable, as you would expect from a high-end steakhouse, but it's the attention to detail that truly sets this place apart. Every entrée is cooked to perfection, and the flavors of the food and sides are on a whole different level. Simply put, every bite is a celebration! One of my favorite features is the beautiful glass-enclosed booths overlooking the kitchen, which add a unique and exciting touch to an already spectacular dining experience. And just when you think the evening couldn't get any better, Steak 44 follows up the next day to make sure your experience exceeded expectations. Now that's what I call going above and beyond! If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, whether for a special occasion or simply because you deserve to be spoiled, Steak 44 is a must. Be sure to book your reservation in advance through OpenTable, as this popular spot stays busy!

I've lived in Arizona for three years, and I've never experienced anything quite like what happened…read moretonight at Steak 44. My friend and I arrived dressed nicely, only to be stopped and told that her outfit violated the restaurant's dress code because it was considered "athletic wear." She was wearing a tasteful white two-piece pants set, nothing revealing or inappropriate. The gentleman who approached us, whom I assume was a manager, initially refused to let us dine. Rather than argue, she showed him why it wasn't and then we politely thanked him and walked away. As we left, my friend immediately expressed how uncomfortable and singled out the interaction made her feel. Approximately two minutes later, the same gentleman came outside and told us he would make an exception "this time" because we seemed like nice people. That statement only made the situation more insulting. If the dress code was truly the issue, what suddenly changed? And why did whether we seemed like "nice people" determine if we were welcome? Under normal circumstances, we would have taken our business elsewhere. However, my friend had driven an hour specifically to enjoy one of her favorite restaurants, and it was already 9:30 p.m. What should have been an enjoyable evening turned into an uncomfortable experience that affected the entire night between her and I and ultimately caused it to end early. I won't speculate about the reasoning behind our treatment, but I will say that what we experienced, especially compared with other guests we observed, left us questioning whether the "dress code" was being truly the reason we were disrespected. I've always heard great things about Steak 44, and I appreciate the restaurant's reputation for excellent food and service. Unfortunately, my very first visit left me feeling disappointed, disrespected, and unwelcome. Fine dining should come with high standards, but those standards should be applied consistently and respectfully to every guest. No one should be made to feel that they have to earn the right to be treated with dignity.

Sometimes other parties can be a little loud as they are having fun, so keep that in mind as the last few times I've gone it was a little hard to hear my table. The food is reasonably priced and pretty good! The carpaccio was to die for!!!!! I would have ordered 10 of those and been happy. The sauce they paired it with was so yummy, I wasn't expecting that. The oysters are flown in daily so ask your waiter or waitress about details if you care to know, they are very knowledgeable. Every time I've ordered food here I've been happy. Except for the duck I wasn't impressed. It was a little overcooked and tough to eat, the rice it was paired with was also a little bland but the sauce they had a little drizzled on the side was soooooo good. When we first entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomes by several members of the staff. We let them know that we had a reservation and we were seated quickly. You definitely need to make a reservation. The restaurant is quaint. It has bar seating for eight and about seven tables. We definitely love the warm and cozy vibe. Another huge contributing factor of the intimate setting was the fire grill that you can see from pretty much anywhere in the restaurant. To drink, I had the Cantarito. It was a mixture of. Milagro reposado, charred citrus juice, lime, and ginger which was garnished with dried slices of citrus. It was spectacular! My husband chose a bottle of Mexican Coke. We started with the Embered Elote and the cucumber salad. The Elote was fire roasted corn on the cob with a delicious crema, and spicy sauce garnished with queso. The cucumber salad was super unique, and the combination of flavors were absolutely delightful. it was made up of cucumbers, radishes, tomatoes, tomatillo vinaigrette, and queso. For dinner, we shared the Shorties. Bone in short ribs season to perfection and the squeeze of lime on top pushed the flavor over the edge. Everything we had at this restaurant was fantastic. The menu isn't big but we had a hard time choosing since everything looked good. We decided on the elote with bone marrow, hamachi crudo and Pollo asado. I have to say the elote/bone marrow combo is life changing. My husband isn't a fan of elote but he could not stop raving about this dish. It was rich without feeling heavy. The hamachi crudo was SPICY but in the most addicting way. We didn't think it could get better, but the pollo asado was amazing. I prefer dark meat, but had a piece of the breast and it was so juicy. The rajas and frijoles were flavorful. But the best thing on the plate were the quesadillas. I wish they offered it separately. We would've ordered another plate they were that good! The portions were so big, that we ended up taking the rest of the asado to go. We ended up bringing it all the way back to NYC 3 days later and it tasted even better! I loved the whole vibe of the place. Yes, it's tiny but it made you feel like you were eating at a friend's house. The staff were friendly and patient (especially since we were so indecisive). We tried 2 cocktails which were tasty. We wanted to try more but were soooo full. We did try the sweet potato dessert which was nice but I really was too full to enjoy. I noticed that the menu seemed very small and the dishes were shareable -- I don't eat meat so I was hoping my friend wouldn't mind sticking with fish and seafood (which she didn't). As soon as I got to my table there was the cutest sign that said welcome to Sarah Sherman and guest -- it was such an adorable and personal touch, I loved that! As soon as my friend got there we immediately both ordered the cold brew old fashioned -- we thought about the espresso martini but this just sounded too good to pass up -- and we were not disappointed! This drink was so tasty and strong. We immediately ordered the bread (sourdough boule) to soak up some of the alcohol as well as some oysters and the salsa. The oysters were so well spiced and were absolutely delicious. But the bread, the bread, the bread -- the server mentioned that it took almost 9 months to develop the bread recipe and it served. It was the best bread and butter that I think I have ever had! The salsa was good but probably was my least favorite of everything and it was still super yummy. We then moved on to the octopus tostadas. Sometimes octopus is not my fav -- it can be too chewy but this was so amazing and incredibly flavorful. It was starting to be my favorite dish until we ordered the Hamachi -- OMG!! Talk about a mouth orgasm-- both my friend and I were yummming it up -- but seriously this bite was so complex with different flavors coming up with every chew -- it has coriander candied peanuts, fermented pineapple, avocado, pickled fresno, toasted coconut and aji amarillo yogurt -- The server mentioned that this was the chef's least favorite dish which I totally do not understand because this was off the charts in my book. We also tried the earl gray whiskey sour, which was light and delicious, and ended with the shrimp toast and the espresso martini. By the way the toast on the shrimp toast was like a little fried dough triangle -- sooooo gooood! The martini was good but the cold brew old fashioned really stole the spotlight for me. Other details I loved that just elevated the experience: Purse hook (very important to me), the little trays for your utensils, metal coasters, incredibly attentive servers, fantastic music, great ambiance and the cutest was the penny they put on top of your check. So cute -- was not expecting such an enjoyable all around experience!! Will be back 1000%!!!
