First time coming to an Outback. It was meh. When first coming in, it was pretty empty. Place was clean though. Host was nice but put us right next to other consumers when there were open seats. The food has little to no flavor. Steak had a weird fishy flavor. Lobster had no flavor and was oddly sandy. Worst thing was the mashed potatoes.. dry flavorless with a hint of dirt? I used to love eating here and service has always been amazing! Very disappointed tonight! The place wasn't busy at all and was told it would be a wait! Four other couples came in and was also told there was a 10-15 minute wait. When the manager came around the corner and told the hosts get moving seating people their are tons of open seats! She wasn't happy! Then... Our waitress was slow as molasses! We placed our order which I ordered their $16.99 6 oz. sirloin with two sides and cheesecake! Our food finally came it tasted amazing as always. But when it came time for the cheesecake the lady told me they were out and I could have a different dessert for an up charge! I declined since being I ordered the 6 Oz Sirloin it was a $4 up charge already costing $20.99. So thinking ok since I got no dessert maybe the idea would be you take it back down to the normal price of $17.99. Nope wishful thinking! If the waitress would have told us there was no cheesecake I sure as heck would have ordered the $17.99 steak vs the one with a slice of cheesecake! Didn't expect to write a one star review here. Went here this past Sunday with a party of five. We were sat quickly and were greeted with a server name Melissa. She seemed okay at first and took our order, but then disappeared for like 20 minutes. We were low on our drinks and were hoping to ask for refills along with more bread. Our appetizer came in 30 minutes before ordering..... then about 10 minutes later, the side salad appetizer came out..... minutes pasted by and our food came out. I had to ask for the food runner for a refill and more rolls since our server Melissa was nowhere to be found. My steak was undercooked but I ate part of it because I wouldn't want another 20 minutes for my server to arrived and ask if everything was alright when it's already too late. I was right. She came into and asked how was everything was when we were almost done with our meal. I was disappointed with the lack of communication between our server. It was so dry and and solidified that when I turned the sandwich upside down, the beef didn't move. Not one bit. I do not recommend them for curb side pick up at all! They allow Door Dash drivers to park in curbside pick up parking spots leaving none for curbside customers.
