Cheddar Bay Biscuits!
Beth B.

We had a great experience at this Red Lobster location tonight. Kelli provided excellent service. She was friendly, professional, and was an excellent server. I love the new breading on the Walt's Favorite shrimp. It was lighter than the previous breading. Great change! We liked being able to order sides of shrimp scampi. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits are always a treat! We will be back!

Out of all the fun foodie places in Scottsdale to go to, I am happy we ended up at Red Lobster for our family dinner! We were greeted warmly at the start of dinner service and our waitress was fabulous. I had forgotten how good Red Lobster was, and we all enjoyed it! We had a part of 6 and order mainly either a Surf and Turf or shrimp dishes. The cheddar biscuits were as delicious and buttery as ever, and our lobster was so good. I did order my sirloin medium rare, but it was a little over done to my liking, but it was still good. I also enjoyed their broccoli - how interesting but it was very good! The atmosphere was great and we had a very good dinner.

Chocolate / caramel sundae

It's expensive but occasionally we have lunch on special occasions. Laurie was our server and she was terrific. We ordered the grilled trout and the fish and chips. Both were delicious and the presentation was perfect. Large portions as well. Since we were celebrating both of our birthdays, we both got a free dessert, a chocolate / caramel sundae. Yummy. We highly recommend this location.

Bahama mama
Cindy G.

The best experience was Richard our waiter and he did an amazing job. The food was delicious. Also, the only problem is we ordered a Bahama mama and got one made with mango purée which I did not care for very much but my sister loved mango. I will not be ordering that again only because I don't like mango. And it's not the Bahama mama like all the other places make this must be their own recipe. I think they should change it to mango Bahama mama

Piña Colada with Curaçao floater!

Lobster Pappardelle is a new item, I ate it too fast to take a pic, but it's worth a try! Also the staff from Brandon at the Host stand and or server Emma and the manager Michael, was an overall excellent experience. Oh I forgot to mention the Epic Piña Colada, mine had the Curaçao floater.

Already acting up!

We hadn't ever tried this Scottsdale location or had Red Lobster in a while so this was nice to go in for them delicious cheddar bay biscuits. I had the dragon shrimp, Mike had the fisherman's platter. Of course we had drinks lol if I remember their names I'll edit my review but just know they hit to. Service was great and the restrooms were clean.

Endless shrimp. You pay extra for a loaded potato sadly. You definitely get nickled & dimed here smh.

Stopped in for a quick Lunch between clients, the gentleman that sat me at a booth in the bar was very welcoming. My server was lovely as well and evidentially my request for Cajun dusted fries was loved by all the staff and they wanna try it now lol The booth I sat at was nice however the floor was super sticky and I had to sit at an angle so my feet wouldn't be stuck to the floor- y'all need to do better cleaning please. The food was great for what I needed today ty so much.

From server to management to corporate no one cares. I see why it's gone downhill so much. Rather sad really. I'll miss the biscuits

Delicious as always! Medium rare steak perfect and the lobster was what I came for, but became a side to the steak. That surprised me.

Good lobster. Don't order their 7 oz. Sirloin unless you bring a Sawzall along to cut it. Very good cheesecake.

The ahi tuna was so good, probably my favorite dish of the night. The rack of lamb was cooked really well, and the short rib was good too, just needed a more salt or something in my opinion. Still enjoyed it though. The cheesecake was divine. Panna cotta was yummy. Definitely the perfect way to end the meal. Our server was polite and let me try a couple wines before choosing, which I appreciated. We made a reservation and got seated quickly, even with it being Valentine's Day. Ambiance was dark and moody. We were the last ones out the restaurant, never felt rushed. Atmosphere was great for a date night. Bathrooms were clean, but the floor felt a little slippery. Overall, we had a great dinner and would definitely go back.

They're clearly pretty happy with themselves how they do things now. The decor is depressingly stuck in the '90's, which because of how small it is and how it's laid out could easily be fixed by updating just the barstools and artwork. Not gonna happen. The food is usually excellent, and they have a very good wine list. Prices are in line with a nice restaurant in this part of town. Just hope everything's to your liking because they have no interest in fixing it. Servers have been there forever, which can be helpful and entertaining...aaand inattentive if they don't already know you because they'd rather be talking it up with the regulars at the bar. I've been there when the service was on point and had a nice evening. I've also been there when they were too busy chatting with people they'd rather talk to to bring me what I ordered, then gave me attitude and a lecture when I asked it to be taken off the bill. The folks at Rusconi's obviously love what they do and how they do it. They seem interested in coming up with new dishes or specials to keep things fresh, and they execute them well. If you go, just know you're gonna get what you're gonna get.

The first thing that stands out is the massive, beautifully maintained outdoor seating area. It's covered, pet-friendly, and thoughtfully designed with fireplaces and privacy walls that give each table a more intimate feel. There's even an outdoor bar where you can grab a drink while you wait or just enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the décor is incredibly creative. Butcher knives and custom cutting boards line the walls, and the open kitchen showcases hanging meats so you can see everything in action. The bakery area adds another layer of charm, with rolling pins and whisks hanging from the ceiling, it all feels intentional and immersive without being over the top. The menu is just as fun and different as the space itself. I started with the Sicilian wedge and then had to go for what they're known for, the handcrafted meatballs. You can mix and match meatballs with different pastas, but the real showstopper is the "meatball carousel." It lets you sample multiple meatballs with their recommended sauces, all presented on an elaborate Ferris wheel-style display that turns heads across the restaurant. It's a full experience, not just a meal. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. What truly made the night, though, was our server, Mia. She struck that perfect balance of fun and professional, engaging, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. She guided us through the menu, made great recommendations, and brought a level of energy that elevated the entire experience. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows. For dessert, we went with the traditional Sicilian cannoli stuffed with Nutella and a lemon tart that was so good I'd honestly consider flying back just to have it again. This place delivers on every level, atmosphere, creativity, food, and service. I'll absolutely be making this a regular stop anytime I'm in Phoenix.

We enjoyed our full experience. Easily made reservations via Open Table (a must with a two month old baby!). We ordered the meatball Ferris wheel as an appetizer. It was so unique and fun! Although the classic meatball ended up being my favorite. I got the chicken parm and it was delicious. I love their red sauce! The only thing I was bummed about is that I love their marinara so much that I wanted to get the rigatoni with marinara as my side. However, they don't allow you to sub the sauce. It came with vodka sauce and I'm not a fan of that, so I opted for the side salad. Wish they'd allow you to sub the sauce. After dinner, we went next door to the Sicilian Baker and ordered an array of treats. Their tiramisu is a must! I've had it twice now and it's some of the best tiramisu I've had (topping even slices I've had in Rome!). The girls helping us were Riley and Tatum and they were very helpful. Even gave us some free mini cannolis. Yum!

Jessica, my waitress was really awesome and very friendly and helped me pick out some really great things on the menu. I had the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries. You can tell right away this is the kind of place regulars come back to often. Food I didn't try much food, but I did have the cheese crisp and it was solid. Light, flaky, and more like an open-faced tostada than a quesadilla. It came topped with green chili and chicken, and everything worked well together. Based on that, I'd expect the rest of the menu to be consistent, even if it's not trying to reinvent the wheel. Service Service was efficient, especially considering how busy it was. No complaints here... you can tell the staff knows how to handle a full house and keep things moving. Ambience This is where the place stands out. The vibe feels like a food network designed a biker bar, but in a fun, not over-the-top way. It's also apparently a Kansas City Chiefs bar, which adds to the identity. There was a live band playing early 2000s rock hits, which kept the energy up. Crowd was friendly overall, very much a neighborhood crowd. Overall This isn't a destination bar, but it's a really solid go-to if you live nearby. Think of it as an elevated dive/sports bar with a strong local following. Good drinks, good energy, and a place that does what it's supposed to do well.
