Tuna carpaccio
Olivia R.

We visited humble oyster for their second annual oyster day. Knowing how popular it was last year, we made sure to get in line before they opened. Our table started with drinks. I ordered their grapefruit spritz which is a refreshing twist on a classic spritz made with prosecco and Fever-Tree grapefruit. They offered $1 oyster bites- freshly shucked oysters paired with their signature house-made mignonettes: dumpling, michelada, rosé, and pickle cucumber. All 5 stars! Our table shared the Tuna Carpaccio which is ahi tuna loin slivers pounded thin, topped with crispy capers, fresh chives cava vinaigrette, olive oil, sea salt, chives. Served with bread. My absolute favorite! My husband wanted to try their short rib buns, he said they were really fantastic. I'm glad he enjoyed them because he prefers meat over raw fish, hehe! I wanted to try their new summer item, the ahi tuna tostadas. YUM! They were so good! Fresh, crispy and piled high. They were extremely overwhelmed with all their oyster orders when everyone first came in so we did wait quite some time to get our oyster bites. Half of our order came out and the other half came out maybe 45 min later. We love the food and atmosphere here so that won't keep us from coming back but maybe they need to come up with a different game plan knowing how many people will be ordering oyster bites and oysters on oyster day.

Sienna's service next door at Humble Bistro is fabulous. We ordered the fabulous Kylie sparkling rose and is fabulous! Cauliflower appetizer was good. Would have loved bit more char and crisp.

Another great night at Humble Oysters and Bubbles. We arrived during low tide and enjoyed a grapefruit spritz, social soda, and the champagne sangria. The champagne sangria was so good! Will definitely get that again. We had the lobster bisque, the sliders & social, and a bottle of champagne with a dozen oysters. When you order the bottle and oysters they choose the dozen. The oysters were okay, a little plump for my liking and not the types I would have picked, but it's a good deal so we went with it. We also ordered the Cajun shrimp and angel hair to split because it's just so good! Our server was great, very attentive.

We trekked to get here but the food was worth it. We came on a weekday, pretty late in the night and did not need to wait to be seated. But I hear weekends are packed. Service was attentive and good. The interior is dark and great for a date night. They have quite the extensive menu here. The oysters were fresh and the sauces that came with it were tasty and unique from what you normally get with oysters. My favorite thing I've tried here was the Hokkaido scallop main that came on rice and had a mushroom sauce. That was absolutely delightful, rich in flavor, and they cooked the scallop perfectly so it wasn't overcooked. The clam and chorizo noodle dish was also one of my favorites. The shrimp salad was a great salad if you're going to get a salad and wanting something lighter. Since we came later a few items we did want to try were sold out for the day. Looking forward to coming back and trying those one day when I'm back in this area.

The food here is phenomenal! We started with the tuna carpaccio and ate it too fast to take a picture. We were lucky enough to have some king crab which was their special that night. My husband had the Bouillabaise and the sauce in it is insane! I got the lobster roll and it was everything I wanted. The service is also wonderful! Make this place your next date night!

Came on a light Sunday for happy hour. Good service, tunes and food. If there is one fail it is the portions are a tad small. All the food was tasty and fresh, service with a smile but of course it was Sunday. Would come again even with the smaller than expected portions.

You guys have to check out Humble Oysters and Bubbles! It's so aesthetically pleasing and the food is off the charts! Our server Danny was a ray of sunshine! He guided us through the menu and gave us a fantastic experience! We also got to meet Tim the real MVP! Oyster are to die for (obvi). The mussels in green curry were my favorite! The bar has lots of seating. The restaurant is very spacious and we didn't have a long wait. This is an absolute must go to asap!

We went at around 5:30 on Saturday evening for an early dinner and the place was already packed. The wait was around 20 minutes but the food here was so good, it was totally worth the wait! The Oysters come with Chojang sauce, which is the Korean chili sauce made out of Gochujang, and it pairs amazingly well with the Oysters. The pasta sauce of Cajun Shrimp Angel Hair was a total 10/10 too, we had to order some bread to scrape all the sauce out of the plate. Highly recommend!

Humble Oysters & Bubbles is such a fun, elevated spot -- from the moment you walk in, the East Coast-style décor and chic vibe set the tone, and the staff make the whole night feel easy and welcoming. Our server gave us a great bubbly rosé recommendation to kick things off, and it paired perfectly with the rest of our meal. We went all in on the oysters, and they were incredibly fresh -- exactly what you'd hope for at a place that specializes in them. Each one came out briny, buttery, and ice-cold, and it was fun to mix and match different flavor profiles. We also tried the tuna carpaccio. While it was still good, the caper sauce overpowered the tuna a bit, and I found myself wishing it had been beef instead -- more of a personal preference than a miss. After that, the Short Rib French Dip absolutely stole the show -- tender, juicy, and full of flavor, it was the kind of dish you don't expect at an oyster and bubbles bar but end up craving again. The balance of creative small plates, thoughtful recommendations, and the champagne and sparkling list makes this place really unique for the area. Between the oysters, bubbles, and cozy yet upscale vibe, it's definitely a spot I'd come back to for both casual nights out and special occasions.

Halibut cheeks

Giving 5 stars and an honest review. The food was phenomenal. Came here for the first time for my birthday with some friends. We started with oysters and ceviche, both were delicious. My friends got the prime rib, Cajun pasta and I ordered the halibut cheeks. Everything was outstanding. Would definitely come back for the food. Now we had a young server who was very nice but forgot our drink orders twice. My friends enjoyed their whiskey and wine but I tried the margarita and a Paloma but was very disappointed. When mentioned to staff, he apologized but made no effort to rectify. Regardless the food was absolutely delightful and we enjoyed the French music. The atmosphere is pretty inviting as well.

Oysters and bubbles are among my favorites so I was very excited to try this place. First let me start with the positives. The drinks were great. The Champagne Sangria was amazing. The frozen champagne topper was so fun. Our friend had the Sazerac which he said was also well done. We ordered oysters off the daily menu as well as oyster bites. I'm a huge oyster fan but I was a little disappointed. The champagne vinaigrette and other accoutrements were sub par and not what I was expecting from an oyster place. Also they served these things in plastic cups with wooden disposable utensils. So weird since we are spending $4/oyster. You also had to ask for the items - otherwise you just got a plate of oysters. Was expecting things to be nicer. For dinner I had the lobster roll which was a total disappointment. There was not enough lemon sauce and our waiter never came back in time for me to ask for more. It's basically dry lobster on a large croissant. And the croissant is not even edible in the way it was presented to me. It's not like a sandwich. You just have to eat the lobster with a fork. Also weirdly another person in our party ordered the same thing and he received double the lobster I got so there's obvious inconsistency in the kitchen. How could you send out two dishes to the same table like that? My husband had the halibut cheeks which he said was ok but he wasn't that excited. Vibe was fun but as other people noted extremely loud. Our server was friendly but clearly distracted chatting with his friends. We didn't get one of the things we ordered and took repeated requests for other missing items like forks etc. They served one person in our party's dinner like ten minutes after everyone else which was also not cool when you are dropping $100/pp. (it was clear he just forgot about it). Even getting him to take the item he never brought off the bill took forever. Sometimes being friendly and funny is not enough. Wanted to love this place because I love oysters (and the cocktails were amazing) but we probably won't be back.

One of each oyster available that day.

The oysters are AWESOME. excellent selection for a good price. Very fresh and tasty. I also had the oyster and caviar. A bit small but worth the experience. The champagne sangria was by far the best drink I've had all year. I also had the blackened salmon and Cesar salad. The salmon was far too salty but everything else was good.

Only complaint I have: we had a bit of a larger group (9 people) , so I was not able to add myself to wait list from the website. I was instructed to call which I did multiple times and never got an answer. We showed up and unfortunately had to wait an hour because no one answered the phones to accommodate the call ahead. I understand it was busy, but maybe designate someone up front to answer the phones so this doesn't happen!

No issue, especially on a Sunday. Ambiance (4/5): If the name tells the story, Mother Tucker's is a sports bar with a honky tonk vibe. We sat at the bar. Good number of TVs and some bar games around the spacious bar. My type of spot. Service (4/5): The bartender did a pretty good job taking care of us. We were greeted promptly upon arriving, ended up ordering two drinks in two stints, and she closed us out efficiently. Had to grab her attention once to order our second round, but outside of that, solid. Food (N/A): I had food prior so we didn't order anything but they do have a full menu. I also noticed that they have some solid happy hour specials on both food and drinks. Drinks (45): The type of drinks you would expect at a spot like this. Some creativity when it comes to cocktails, but not a lot. Full bar with beer and wine and all that. Here's what puts them over the top. They have Jameson orange which is used to make orange tea shots. You don't find Jameson orange in a lot of spots so this was a nice surprise. Second, they have what's called a hurricane shot... an experience unlike any other I've ever seen. Apparently it's something young bros like to do. You order the shot, then the female bartender will sit on the bar, she will give you the shot, you take it, then she will throw water in your face and slap you. Not sure I have a lot of faith in this generation but it was a sight to behold!

I'm gonna give three stars because the service was great at the bar and the server was attentive outside and quick although she didn't know the menu well. I ordered the cheese plate to split with my children and no one knew what was on it when I asked, but I was later informed that I got a tomato jelly and honey mustard as the sauces. To me a $30 cheese plate would not come with a container of honey mustard so I was not impressed. When I asked what cheeses were on it they told me there was 2 different cheddars. There was no way it was a cheddar it was a very soft cheese. I believe it was a goat cheese. The almonds were probably the best part of the whole platter. My husband got wings, which were very big. He enjoyed those and the sauce, and my other daughter got meatballs, which she enjoyed, but thought they were a little spicy, I find that usually when kids order things that are spicy servers will say just so you know that has a little bit of heat to it to which the waitress did not again, I don't think she was very knowledgeable on the menu in general . For the type of hotel twenty6 was kinda of major let down. Definitely will pass on the next visit.

Based on how this place is described and marketed, we were expecting an intimate, vintage-feeling evening where we could sit down, have a cocktail, listen to jazz, and enjoy the atmosphere. That was not our experience. There were definitely things we liked. The location was great, the overall theme and decor were beautiful, the lighting created a great atmosphere, and we enjoyed the food and drinks. The service was also very good. However, the entertainment was a huge miss and completely took us out of the experience. We walked in and the band was performing "Genie in a Bottle," followed by other current/recent pop songs, Backstreet Boys songs, and "Creep." The singer was repeatedly screaming into the microphone and encouraging everyone to scream and make noise. At one point, while sitting in what is supposed to be a speakeasy, we were literally listening to him sing "creep" which is one of the most depressing songs of all time. It felt much more like being at a loud dive bar or country bar than an intimate 1920s inspired speakeasy. My biggest issue is that the entertainment did not match the experience being advertised. You can decorate a room beautifully and make it look like the 1920s, but when the soundtrack is "Genie in a Bottle," "Creep," and Backstreet Boys songs being loudly belted into a microphone, the illusion disappears pretty quickly. The noise level also made it difficult to simply sit, have a drink, talk, and enjoy the space. We specifically chose this place because we wanted that relaxed jazz/speakeasy experience, and that simply wasn't what we got. The cocktail selection was another disappointment. For a speakeasy-style bar, I expected a stronger selection of specialty bourbon and whiskey cocktails. The prices also felt excessive for the overall experience. On top of the already-high prices, we paid a $20 entertainment cover ($10 per person) specifically for the band. I wouldn't have minded paying a cover for quality live entertainment that fit the advertised atmosphere, but the artist was not particularly impressive and, more importantly, the music didn't fit the theme at all. There is a lot of potential here. The space itself is beautiful, the service was good, and they nailed many of the visual details. Unfortunately, the entertainment is such a major part of a speakeasy experience that it overshadowed everything else for us. If you're specifically looking for jazz, flapper-era music, and an authentic-feeling 1920s speakeasy atmosphere, I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

There were other tables available and was told that they were for other guests. When I asked why they sat a couple at a four top after us they apologized and said that they could possibly sit us at a table later. I believe that we were not catered to is because we were black.
