I recently tried their southern fried catfish, I had to send it back because the fish had a terrible taste, unfortunately. I usually like all their food. The photo of the catfish looks good but the fish was not. Our waitress was nice and took it off our bill and offered that I could order something else.

I've been to Foley Ranch Boots & BBQ three times. Twice for drinks and once for food. Located in Desert Ridge Marketplace right next to BJ's Brewhouse, you won't have trouble finding free parking in the large lot that surrounds the entertainment complex. Ambiance (4.5/5): If you're into country bars, you're going to like Foley Ranch. I'm from Texas so Foley reminds me of home, which is always a nice feeling. As you walk in, they will check your ID and then there's a hostess stand. There's a long bar with a decent amount of seating that takes you to the main room where you have booths, high tops, and a large stage. They often have live music on the stage. And twice a week, there's free line dancing lessons. There's a dance floor where you can two-step. If you're into country music, you'll enjoy all that Foley Ranch has to offer. Drinks (4/5): They have a full bar so there's an extensive menu. With it being a country bar, I'd recommend a beer or a cocktail that has tequila. If you're not drinking alcohol, they have sweet tea (always a nice touch). They also have a solid happy hour with specials on both drinks and food, as well as a reverse happy hour. Food (3/5): This is where things fall of a bit in my mind. On my most recent visit, I had their loaded baked potato with brisket. The baked potato comes with cheese, sour cream, green onions, and BBQ sauce. With my Texas roots, I have a high standard when it comes to BBQ. The baked potato was smaller than I expected. And the brisket was mediocre at best. If you've had brisket from top BBQ joints in Texas and you compare it to Foley Ranch's, you'll see a stark difference. It wasn't bad, but given the portion size, and the price, I was expecting more. Especially since it's marked on their menu as one of their signature dishes. The food aside, Foley Ranch makes for a great spot for drinks and for the entertainment. You'll see a good number of cowboy hats while you're there. Yeehaw!

Need to come back to actually line dance or participate in lessons! This is a very cute, country bar. Lots of seating areas, western decor, as well as a dance floor and outdoor seating. We sat at the bar and unfortunately had already eaten, however just the smell of the bbq food was very enticing. We will have to be back to try the food as well. The bartenders are very fun and attentive. My party ordered the old fashioned, Foley peach tea, and smoked pineapple margarita. I LOVED the smoked pineapple margarita - perfect for anyone who likes sweet-tasting piña colada drinks. Only downside is that live music came on around 6/7 pm, and while it was amazing, it was also a little loud, so maybe not the best place to invite important conversations (lol). We'll be back!

I always love popping in here! Great layout, very spacious. Love the community table by the dance floor. Bar visibility to the stage is a bit awkward but otherwise great! Quinn's service was warm and attentive. Came to support a friend's band, Franklin with Gypsy Troubadour and they were great! Friendly, positive crowd. The food quality was great. Wrangler twist pretzel is a favorite in town. Love the accompanying cheese and spicy mustard. Really generous portion. Appreciate the happy hour discounts. I decided to try the chilled spinach dip... because why not! It was good! Reminds me a tad of French onion dip minus the onion powder. I'd definitely order it again and the chips are delish! Different! Worth trying! I tried a bite of the skewered shrimp. Looked so good but too messy and spicy for my taste. The baked potato was good...a bit too soft. I will say prices are a bit too high in my opinion, especially if you want to try a spread but happy hour helps. Always love the overhead music and the bands here! I'm going to give this 5 stars because I definitely want to see this place stay though I'd give price and variety 4 stars. Id love to see a steak option and more reasonably priced prime rib option added.

Was in the mood for some bbq but unfortunately this didn't really do it for me. Grabbed some takeout from Foley and was a bit underwhelmed with what I got. Ordered a 3 meat combo, with slaw, added an extra side of cornbread hush puppies, along with 2 sweet teas and a wedge salad. All of that came to almost $60 which I would have been fine with if not the portion sizes being a bit small. The highlights were the ribs, pulled chicken, and hush puppies. Loved the smoke flavor and seasoning blend on the ribs. Had a nice bite to it as well. The hush puppies were delicious too. Even though the ribs were good, the pulled pork was disappointing. We definitely got the fat end of a roast as half the container of pork was all the fatty pieces. There was no flavor to the pork at all and it was really watery for some reason. The wedge salad was not great either. Great size salad but the blue cheese dressing lacked any real flavor and had no blue cheese taste at all.

    Inedible !

Absolute trash. Complete waste of money as the food (all of it) was 100% inedible. The brisket was shoe leather.

From the moment we walked in, the host made our dining experience exceptional! They greeted us with a genuine smile and a warm welcome, immediately setting a positive tone for the evening. The host efficiently managed the seating and kept us informed with accurate wait times. When we were seated, it was at a perfect table, just as we had hoped! Throughout our meal, the host checked in to ensure we were enjoying everything and was incredibly attentive to our needs. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care for the diners truly stood out. This host elevated our entire dining experience, and we can't wait to return! A+ service!"

Foley Ranch is another solid bbq option in the area. We tried their sausage and beef brisket with few side dishes. Everything was delicious and flavorful without being overly salty. The sausage was very juicy and it wasn't too spicy from the jalapeños. My favorite side dish was the green beans and hubby really enjoyed their corn bread hush puppies. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Probably good place to watch games too with their giant tv screens. Enjoy!! Highly recommend!!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile, but unfortunately it turned out to be very disappointing. Got take out and maybe that was the issue, but honestly shouldn't matter. Got the three meat plate with pulled chicken, pulled pork and ribs. Side of coleslaw, side of hush puppies, wedge salad and sweet tea. The portions were honestly SO small and yet the pricing was very expensive, especially considering the size of everything. The three meats were more like an appetizer at best. The pork had no taste and was so watery. The chicken was a bit better, but again, no real barbq taste. The ribs, however, were the star of the show! Tender and very flavorful. Coleslaw, hush puppies and tea were all very good but the wedge salad was so so. Not enough dressing for sure. Overall, not the greatest experience and unfortunately not what I would call a real barbecue restaurant.

Amazing brisket! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Definitely a must-go spot for top notch food and live country music.

Lively spot featuring live singers and space for showing off your line dancing skills. There's more cowboy culture than I experienced in Texas! Food is pretty solid. Ok, I know this is a BBQ place but if there is one item I would not skip it's the giant pretzel! I ordered it and barely got any because everyone at the table loved it! The other unexpected legit item is the potato salad. I need the recipe! The ribs come with a dry rub so if that's your thing, you'll be happy.

To me a $30 cheese plate would not come with a container of honey mustard so I was not impressed. When I asked what cheeses were on it they told me there was 2 different cheddars. This beer-focused bar isn't the easiest to find because it's underground down a stairwell. Look for the signage close to the stairwell. Ambiance (3.5/5): We sat at a booth at the bar. It's one of the few seats that have back support (which is important to me due to my old man back). Outside of that, it's all barstool seating with no back support inside. Outside, they have a small patio with chairs. That would be another option for me when the weather cooperates. The decor inside is your typical beer bar decor. Laid back. Comfortable. There's a jukebox. A cool place to grab some brews. Service (3.5/5): Two bartenders were working that evening and they were pretty solid. I did have to grab their attention a few times but no biggie. Food (N/A): No food for me on this visit as I had dinner prior. They have a small menu, mostly made up of various grilled cheese sandwiches. They have a classic one, a pizza one, and a few others. I'm a dan of grilled cheese so I'll definitely try one out at some point. They also have charcuterie boards. Drinks (4.5/5): Now for the good stuff! Unlike most beer spots, they also have wine and several cocktails. But when in Rome, so I went with a beer flight. You can choose five beers of your choosing from a list of 40 beers or so. Added bonus: Walk down the hallway past the bathrooms and you'll run into Pigtails---a speakeasy owned by the same folks. Wifey started with the strawberry salad which was very large and had a wonderful dressing. Easily could have feed two. Went with the lamb entree which was cooked to perfection. Three chops presented on cauliflower mash and mint herbs. Superb choice. I took a step of faith and tried the Wagu beef appetizer. It was terrific. Chunks of beet on short skewers and wrapped with a large basal leaf. The beef itself was exceptionally good. For an entree, I went with the New York strip with a side of asparagus and off the cobb corn elote. The strip was slightly overcooked, I ordered medium and it came well done. Bummer! Asparagus was very grilled and tender. We wrapped up the meal with two pieces of Flan topped with coconut. Delightful ! Restaurant is a little unusual with respect to layout but very functional. Service, by Mel, was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our experience. Bring your wallet. High recommend without any reservations.

Service was good, food took a little while but it was beautiful on the patio so we didn't mind enjoying our time together. Food was okay. The tri tip kabob was a 10/10. Guac was good, their specialty chicken dish was not my favorite and my wife got the chicken tacos which she thought were decent. Overall it was fine, wasn't bad but wasn't worth the price.
