Went for line dancing fun had the tacos and the food was great. Just what you expect for a bbq place. Clean bright and barn like. I'd recommend

Alrighty, so I have really only been in for the dancing and girls night out for dancing and drinking but after the Scottsdale rodeo I told my hubby we are coming because I finally want to try the food lol We got sat immediately right before the rush which was cool and got our drinks! Hubs got the cherry old fashion which he didn't care for but the normal old fashion he enjoyed, and I got the foley ranch tea which is my go to here! We shared the corn bread hush puppies and those were just amazing! They were not oily and were the perfect taste of cornbread and the honey drizzle was nice but not too sweet. We each got some bbq meats he got brisket and the ribs with Mac. Sadly the Mac was on the verge of being cold but still tasted good. His ribs were so damn good! The bark and smoked flavor were truly impressive. I go brisket and when I asked for lean cuts I was informed there would be no guarantee but I was happy to see lean cuts when it came out! We loved our brisket as well and really appreciated the flavors. I love the homemade chips with mine and while they're just chips they were enjoyable. The bonus to the evening was the dueling guitars which I loved! Plus the swing dance lesson to join in on and the line dance lesson. A simple dinner turned into a fun evening which I appreciate. Definitely need to come enjoy the food more often

I have mixed feelings about this place. With the right friends, it could be a super night out. It's extremely loud, the line dancing is fun, and they have a music bingo game. Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to have a conversation. We had difficulty even hearing our server, Alleana, who was great. I expected more from the brisket. I think it could have stayed longer on the smoke. It definitely required a knife to cut. The portions were good and the prices are reasonable. We'll probably give it another go.

I recently tried their southern fried catfish, I had to send it back because the fish had a terrible taste, unfortunately. I usually like all their food. The photo of the catfish looks good but the fish was not. Our waitress was nice and took it off our bill and offered that I could order something else.

I've been to Foley Ranch Boots & BBQ three times. Twice for drinks and once for food. Located in Desert Ridge Marketplace right next to BJ's Brewhouse, you won't have trouble finding free parking in the large lot that surrounds the entertainment complex. Ambiance (4.5/5): If you're into country bars, you're going to like Foley Ranch. I'm from Texas so Foley reminds me of home, which is always a nice feeling. As you walk in, they will check your ID and then there's a hostess stand. There's a long bar with a decent amount of seating that takes you to the main room where you have booths, high tops, and a large stage. They often have live music on the stage. And twice a week, there's free line dancing lessons. There's a dance floor where you can two-step. If you're into country music, you'll enjoy all that Foley Ranch has to offer. Drinks (4/5): They have a full bar so there's an extensive menu. With it being a country bar, I'd recommend a beer or a cocktail that has tequila. If you're not drinking alcohol, they have sweet tea (always a nice touch). They also have a solid happy hour with specials on both drinks and food, as well as a reverse happy hour. Food (3/5): This is where things fall of a bit in my mind. On my most recent visit, I had their loaded baked potato with brisket. The baked potato comes with cheese, sour cream, green onions, and BBQ sauce. With my Texas roots, I have a high standard when it comes to BBQ. The baked potato was smaller than I expected. And the brisket was mediocre at best. If you've had brisket from top BBQ joints in Texas and you compare it to Foley Ranch's, you'll see a stark difference. It wasn't bad, but given the portion size, and the price, I was expecting more. Especially since it's marked on their menu as one of their signature dishes. The food aside, Foley Ranch makes for a great spot for drinks and for the entertainment. You'll see a good number of cowboy hats while you're there. Yeehaw!

Need to come back to actually line dance or participate in lessons! This is a very cute, country bar. Lots of seating areas, western decor, as well as a dance floor and outdoor seating. We sat at the bar and unfortunately had already eaten, however just the smell of the bbq food was very enticing. We will have to be back to try the food as well. The bartenders are very fun and attentive. My party ordered the old fashioned, Foley peach tea, and smoked pineapple margarita. I LOVED the smoked pineapple margarita - perfect for anyone who likes sweet-tasting piña colada drinks. Only downside is that live music came on around 6/7 pm, and while it was amazing, it was also a little loud, so maybe not the best place to invite important conversations (lol). We'll be back!

I always love popping in here! Great layout, very spacious. Love the community table by the dance floor. Bar visibility to the stage is a bit awkward but otherwise great! Quinn's service was warm and attentive. Came to support a friend's band, Franklin with Gypsy Troubadour and they were great! Friendly, positive crowd. The food quality was great. Wrangler twist pretzel is a favorite in town. Love the accompanying cheese and spicy mustard. Really generous portion. Appreciate the happy hour discounts. I decided to try the chilled spinach dip... because why not! It was good! Reminds me a tad of French onion dip minus the onion powder. I'd definitely order it again and the chips are delish! Different! Worth trying! I tried a bite of the skewered shrimp. Looked so good but too messy and spicy for my taste. The baked potato was good...a bit too soft. I will say prices are a bit too high in my opinion, especially if you want to try a spread but happy hour helps. Always love the overhead music and the bands here! I'm going to give this 5 stars because I definitely want to see this place stay though I'd give price and variety 4 stars. Id love to see a steak option and more reasonably priced prime rib option added.

A sad meal that left us hungry and disappointed.

Got our order and first thing they forgot the fries but charged me. This is just the beginning. They charged extra for one sauce. No other sauces provided. The brisket was overcooked and a double order and half a rack of ribs And it was just shy of $70.00. Pretty sad to charge this much and save face. Don't waste your time...I forgot to mention this was half a rack of ribs too. 4 ribs and one was an end piece which was inedible. Did I mention the cost? I did , I just can't believe it myself. That was a double order of Brisket so don't think it looks like a lot. I was charged double for that. Again no sauce? No sauce. Careful if you ask for napkins there might be a charge...see picture so you can see what your money gets you they think they are selling gold over there. I'm reading reviews an apparently the dancing is the only good thing on the menu. Go on a full stomach. Called to complain and got a voicemail, surprised it wasn't full.

Was in the mood for some bbq but unfortunately this didn't really do it for me. Grabbed some takeout from Foley and was a bit underwhelmed with what I got. Ordered a 3 meat combo, with slaw, added an extra side of cornbread hush puppies, along with 2 sweet teas and a wedge salad. All of that came to almost $60 which I would have been fine with if not the portion sizes being a bit small. The highlights were the ribs, pulled chicken, and hush puppies. Loved the smoke flavor and seasoning blend on the ribs. Had a nice bite to it as well. The hush puppies were delicious too. Even though the ribs were good, the pulled pork was disappointing. We definitely got the fat end of a roast as half the container of pork was all the fatty pieces. There was no flavor to the pork at all and it was really watery for some reason. The wedge salad was not great either. Great size salad but the blue cheese dressing lacked any real flavor and had no blue cheese taste at all.

Jalepeno sausage with corn and green beans.

Foley Ranch is another solid bbq option in the area. We tried their sausage and beef brisket with few side dishes. Everything was delicious and flavorful without being overly salty. The sausage was very juicy and it wasn't too spicy from the jalapeños. My favorite side dish was the green beans and hubby really enjoyed their corn bread hush puppies. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Probably good place to watch games too with their giant tv screens. Enjoy!! Highly recommend!!

    Inedible !

Absolute trash. Complete waste of money as the food (all of it) was 100% inedible. The brisket was shoe leather.

Do you have low top tables and do you take reservations for a small group?

Hi Kathy- We have low 4 top booths available in the main room and larger low top picnic benches on our covered patio that can accommodate larger groups.

Good spot for older kiddos? Ages 10-16?

I understand there are line dancing lessons. Do you know what day and time? I can't get into their website?

I'm gonna give three stars because the service was great at the bar and the server was attentive outside and quick although she didn't know the menu well. I ordered the cheese plate to split with my children and no one knew what was on it when I asked, but I was later informed that I got a tomato jelly and honey mustard as the sauces. To me a $30 cheese plate would not come with a container of honey mustard so I was not impressed. When I asked what cheeses were on it they told me there was 2 different cheddars. There was no way it was a cheddar it was a very soft cheese. I believe it was a goat cheese. The almonds were probably the best part of the whole platter. My husband got wings, which were very big. He enjoyed those and the sauce, and my other daughter got meatballs, which she enjoyed, but thought they were a little spicy, I find that usually when kids order things that are spicy servers will say just so you know that has a little bit of heat to it to which the waitress did not again, I don't think she was very knowledgeable on the menu in general . The appetizer (bacon wrapped dates) only came with two small ones, and the fig app was even smaller they looked the size of peanut size m&m's. The main dishes were also not great, the skewers were lacking in flavor and the polenta had a weird texture. The tri tip just came out without any ask to cooking temp and was overcooked (well done).
