Had dinner with the fam and Rosa our server was absolutely amazing! 10/10 and we will be coming back!! The food was 10/10 too!

First time going to outback and will never return. My wife wanted to order pork chops and they said they were out. After ordering ribs and choosing our side they told us that there wasn't anymore potato's. How could a steak house not have potato's if it's the more order item on the menu? After we place our order we saw multiple tables receive there orders and they all have loaded potato's. We asked our waiting Walter B if he could double check and he never got back to us. I am a very unsatisfied customers and will never return. I feel discriminated because he help out multiple tables but looked like he didn't care much for servicing us. Will never return. read more

I saw on Twitter that some Outback's had the cute promotional drink where you could get a rubber duck koala with the drink. I know that sounds insane but my mom thought the ducks were really cute so I went to Alexandria to eat at the bar and get her a duck. Spoiler they were out of ducks and wanted to know if I wanted the drink anyway. I did not. I called the Arlington location and asked if they had the duck koalas (lol). They did! I asked if they had enough that I could drive thirty minutes or so during rush hour and get them. The guy on the phone (Seth) said yes they had enough but unfortunately the dining room was closed for cleaning. I said well shoot that's ok thanks anyway, I just was trying to track a duck down for my mom; and the very sweet Seth said if I came to the takeout window and asked for Seth, he could get me the ducks. I was like amazing I'll be right there. I drove all the way there (during rush hour, woof) and parked and Seth met me at the door. I went to the takeout area and he came and presented me two ducks, and didn't ask me to pay (I swear, if Seth gets in trouble for this I'll cry.) He was so so nice. I decided to buy a takeout meal so I could compensate them for the ducks and I ordered the blooming chicken and then waited in my car for the order. Another employee brought me my soda while I waited and then brought me my food, which was great. All in all a 12/10 for customer service and the dinner was great. Horrible service and bland food! Outback has fallen from grace! What in the world happened? Filet was too rare and fatty and the chopped blue cheese salad was not chopped. Our server was clueless. Terrible, all around. My husband had diarrhea as soon as we got home. Take a look at the photo I attached. That's how they store the A1 sauce at the bar. Unbelievable and a health hazzard. I may report this establishment to the board of health authorities. My steak was room temperature and unseasoned, so I didn't eat it. The service was OK except for one staff member who was rude to me and never once smiled the whole time we were there. The ambiance was the foul odor of mold and mildew at the bar where we dined. This was my first time ordering food from Outback Steakhouse. I had made a to-go order here for a full rack of ribs with a side of french fries and mashed potatoes. Rosa and Chandler were very friendly and treated me with respect and care. They made sure that my food was brought to me and that nothing was missing from my order. The food was delicious :) the ribs were cooked to perfection, the french fries were crispy and had proper seasoning, and the mashed potatoes were soft and buttery. The waiter's service was very good, but the food has lost quality. We ordered boneless ribeye and when it was served it came on an equally large plate where the children's menu is served to children. The Ribeye was not done on the grill, it looked like they put it in a pan and it looked like when the meat comes out like water in the pan. It also had a lot of seasoning. Awful! VERY EXPENSIVE for what you got. My question is if the meat is now in a pan, is it no longer grilled? We also ordered a rack of ribs that wasn't bad. read more

We live near here and have walked in and sat at the bar several times. Every time we had Teresa as a bartender and she was terrific. Even when she was busy, she made us feel as if we were her only customers. We only get steaks here and we have high standards. Our steaks were cooked to medium rare perfection every time! I don't know how they do it. We are not usually chain restaurant people, but because they were so close we could walk and it was worth it!!!! I ordered through DoorDash (this review isn't for the delivery though), and enjoyed my meal, which lasted two meals. Sure bloomin' Onion aside, I was curious about Outback after they fared pretty well in a taste test segment Good Mythical Morning. On a recent weekend I stopped by my local chain for a steak lunch. Inside is the typical chain steakhouse ambiance with some Aussie touches to keep things a little honest. I bellied up to the bar where I was greeted and offered a strange "bar table" device to raise the plate above the railing of the bar. Very interesting. But on to the lunch: My ribeye? Just ok, not really well seasoned. My Aussie fries: not sure what's Aussie about them. The broccoli on the side was good, but when you are complementing the vegetables at a steak place, it says something. Overall, Outback is exactly the ho-hum food you would expect at a ho-hum chain. read more

I got a wrong order this evening without knowing I got back to DuPont Circle/ DC , when I call the restaurant the manager on duty was super rude to me. and didn't help me at all! like it was my fault! unbelievable!!! While the ambiance is a little dated, the food was remarkably solid. I've only been to Outback once before and was not impressed with my steak. My wife has fond memories of Outback from her youth, so we figured we'd give it a go. Started with a Blooming Onion and Wings. The onion is a national treasure. Granted it is deep fried and incredibly heavy, but it is rightfully their signature item. Delicious. The wings were a big surprise with being well sized and very juicy. They were a bit salty, but the blue cheese dipping sauce helped balance that out. Lastly we had a rack of ribs. Sadly we're we're already full, but not before trying a couple of ribs. A tasty sweet sauce lathered on fall off the bone meat. Surprisingly good. All in all, is say that I was impressed by Outback and would definitely consider a repeat in the near future. read more

Do not go to this location! The food was terrible. I sent my entree back because it cold and it came back out still cold. My son overheard the server tell the hostess that he saw a mouse right by us. As soon as we sat down our sever Kiet greeting us with a smile and made us feel so welcome, he showed that he was happy to serve us and from then on everything was perfect. Our drinks were served promptly, our food was delicious and cooked exactly as we requested. He checked on us often to see if there is anything else we needed. Since Covid we sees many restaurant workers are burned out and stressed , not Kiet he is so attentive and sweet by showing that he really enjoys his customers. He made our night special. My husband and I ordered a full rack of ribs and were shocked at the size of the portion. I asked the server if we had gotten a half rack by mistake and she said no, this was a full rack. It was more like an appetizer-size! The bread was tasty and fortunately she brought us a second portion (or we would have left hungry). The fries were plentiful but forgettable. For the vegetables, there were 3 tiny carrot slices and 3 tiny squash slices. We've had ribs in lots of restaurants and always get a whole rack. At the Cheesecake Factory there is enough to take home leftovers. That's where we'll go next time. read more

This review isn't about the food but more about what happens every time I go there. TL;DR: Things go missing here, won't come back. My brother loves this place so my family will go there for his birthday. Last year my favorite hat went missing there, i left it behind at my table and by the time I got home and realized I had forgotten it I called the establishment said they had not seen it. Even went back in person to check but no, despite having staff that clear tables it wasn't in their lost and found. Well after that, while my brother would continue to go, I didn't feel like returning until his birthday dinner this year. This time when leaving I accidentally left my to go box on the table, this time I remembered to go back as soon as I left the restaurant, I hadn't even reached my car. I go back to my table and it is already gone. They hadn't even finished clearing the table and someone had swiped my steak quesadilla. Well after that my brother agreed not to come back. And he was a frequent customer. My suggestion to you if you go there is to keep an eye on your belongings at all times. If you walk away from the table someone might take it. I still miss my hat. In fact I'll leave a picture of it, if any of you brave enough to go here and see anyone wearing it, I'll pay a reward for its return picture below. read more

I like pork, but chops at restaurants tend to be dry and hard. But I wanted a teriyaki pork chop and I'd seen it at Outback - too late! But I tried their mustard-honey pork chop instead, and it was a great meal! I had the topping on the side, but the pork had grill marks, and was tender and flavorful. With the sweet potato and mixed vegetables (I love squash), it was a lovely meal! Come on, Outback, why not offer both versions? I don't find teriyaki pork at local Asian restaurants, and I've looked! Some comments, though: more mustard, less honey on the topping. And mix the extra honey with a little brown sugar in butter for the sweet potato. if you offer teriyaki, flavor up your rice with pea pods, broccoli, water chestnuts and soy sauce, with crispy rice noodles on the side. I wouldn't want you to compete with Asian places, but where local Asian places are scarce or don't carry teriyaki pork, I'd try yours -- you make a great pork chop! read more
