Came on a Saturday night and the place was full. Glad they offer reservations. Food was great and got to our table fast. Not sure why this place got 3 stars. Place was clean and comfortable.

We came just after 1:30pm on a Saturday afternoon and we had to wait for 30 minutes for a table. However the restaurant was half empty with plenty of open tables. I assume they were just understaffed but the host made no mention of why we needed to wait so long. Anyhow, we ordered pretty quickly as we needed to be somewhere soon - everyone came to try the steak, but two members, after reviewing the menu, just decided to try appetizers rather than ordering entrees. We ordered the chili, Mac and cheese, 2 NY combos, and a sirloin combo. They were all cooked to medium when we all asked for medium rare. We were not impressed. If you read my reviews, you know I am critical of salty over seasoned food - ironically this was the opposite- totally underseasoned. In fact, all the members who ordered steak spent just as much time putting salt and pepper on their food as they did eating. The sirloin was ok, the NY was better. The chili tasted canned and the Mac and cheese was not very cheesy. Overall, a mediocre meal at best. Presentation was dull - - but the fries were good. Regardless, if you don't know how to make a steak and you are in the area and want steak, this might be the place. I'm just going to go back to buying Costco prime NY and using the grill or my trusty Lodge cast iron pan.

We had a great time at this Outback Steakhouse. Parking is easy and free. It is in a very nice location and it is spotless inside and out. We just loved it. The place is comfortable and it is super cute. You will love the service. They really go out of their way to make sure you have all you need. The staff is nice and you don't feel rushed there. It is just a really calming place to be. The food we had was excellent. All our steaks were cooked perfectly and they were very good. We love the sides. Their onion rings are super and we love their mashed potatoes. They also have wonderful salads and some nice vegetables to go with your meal. Their desserts are great. We will be back whenever we are in the area.

Outback Steakhouse in Arcadia is one of my favorite places to go when I'm craving prime rib but don't want to drive all the way to Lawry's. Unfortunately, the past few times I've gone to this location, they were either completely out of prime rib or they only have well done available. Service is always top notch here. I love their warm bread & creamy butter (I always asks for seconds), and their chicken wings - it is SO yummy! Definitely will keep coming back!

I've been to this Outback location many times! The service is always great, however it can be slow at times when it gets busy. Another pet peeve I have is that the seats are way too cramped and tight. Despite that, Outback is always on my go-to list whenever I'm back in Arcadia. I always order the bloomin onion, and usually it's undercooked, batter falls off, or the sauce is too bitter. However this time, it was perfect! I also ordered the bloomin burger and was surprised how juicy it was! Finally, I ordered the platypus punch (alcoholic) and the puggle splash, which comes with a platypus toy and an egg container. I would say the splash was like a lemonade but had lots of syrup. The platypus punch could have used more alcohol but was still delicious. Nonetheless, I look forward to my next time at outback!

Came here to celebrate my co workers 60th birthday of a party of 9 earlier today. There is plenty of parking. When you enter you are immediately greeted. I ordered off the Aussie 3 Course Meal which consists of a soup or salad, a choice from a selection of the of entrées, and a slice of the New York style cheesecake. So I got the: - Baked Potato Soup - The Bloomin' Burger - New York Style Cheesecake - Plain Drink: Strawberry Kiwi Margarita The drink was very delightful. The baked potato was decent. The consistency and a bit too thick for soup. The burger was decent as well, nothing too significant about it. Tasted a bit bland. The service was great! I was very appreciative of the staff checking up on our table constantly so that was a plus. I will say, the to go paper bags smell terrible FYI. It's a great place to have gatherings at, I will say. My co workers and I did enjoy ourselves.

I definitely have mixed feelings about my visit to this Outback. There was plenty of parking at 6:30pm mid week, and only a handful of other diners. That being said, it took quite awhile for anyone to acknowledge us, let alone seat us. I saw several staff members hanging out in the bar area chatting with the host stand clearly visible. Besides us, there was a party of six people waiting. It was pretty loud and obvious that people were waiting for help! Once we were seated, service was overall slow and generally unpleasant. Staff seemed tired, and annoyed to have customers. The steak was well cooked. Overall, I'd give this outback 4* for the food, but 0* for the service. I hope the kitchen staff is paid well!

The restaurant has a parking lot. Easy parking. We tried the chicken for the kid meal and the sirloin + ribs combo for an entree. Comes with 2 sides and got baked potato with everything and seasonal veggies which was broccoli. The steak was OK but the ribs were superb. Good value for its taste and portions. Did have to wait to be seated and took awhile for the check. Overall fairly good experience. Family friendly. Gives kids crayons and coloring sheet.

There's a good amount of parking at this location but can get busy. I've seen cars bail from a packed parking lot and a crowd of people waiting outside. There's loads of seating, mostly booths. During the middle of the week it's quite chill. Although it took a long while before anyone gave us a table. At least afterwards the service was quick. We ordered and got food in good time. There's also a tablet device to pay at the table which is always great. The bread and butter is just okay. It's a wheat bread that isn't warm or crispy. It's easily skippable. The sirloin at medium rare is fairly good. It's decently season. The Alice Spring chicken was tasty. I'd wish the beacon was crispy but might be a personal preference. The chicken was actually quite moist and juicy. The season rice had a good taste, wasn't bland. Mashed potatoes are simply mashed potatoes. Overall it's a good place for a more budget steak plus for family meal or special occasions.

I haven't been to Outback in years, and my recent visit was just okay. We came during peak dinner hours on a Saturday night, so the restaurant was packed and the whole experience felt a bit rushed. Fortunately, we only waited for around 10-15 minutes for a party of 2 at around 6 PM. Parking: Outback has its own parking lot, but it was almost full when we arrived, we were lucky to find a spot as someone was leaving. Service: Service was really rushed, our server was juggling multiple tables and often sped past us, making it hard to get their attention. Our waiter forgot our utensil and we had to wait to ask when they were nearby. Food: The food was average. I came specifically to try the Bloomin' Onion. I'd give it a 3/5 - it had a strong onion flavor with a batter that falls apart when you pull it. Worth trying it once- I recommend trying it with a side of ranch. Outback offers a wide variety of steaks, but unfortunately, that variety might be affecting quality. The prime rib I ordered was underwhelming. I'd give it a 2/5- more of a standard cut of meat than anything special. I preferred the ribeye over the prime rib, but they still both tasted just ok. One dish I really enjoyed was their potato soup side dish 4/5- would recommend if you enjoy a baked potato in a creamy soup form with a ton of cheese. Overall, Outback is worth a visit if you're around the area and want to eat at a chain diner. I wish their cut of meat can be more flavorful and may come back when they're not as busy.

Came for dinner to celebrate my birthday, and my wife was a veteran. Our server was great she was in overdrive tonight her section definitely got slammed. She handled it like a pro. Food came out promptly and was cooked to order and the chicken was super tender. Mashed potatoes were chunky and delicious. They brought me an ice cream for dessert for my birthday. She did a great job handling everything. The restaurant was packed but we didn't have to wait too long, restaurant had some games on the TVs in the bar while we waited. Thank you for my wife's free meal.

Lemon drop and blueberry lavender lemonade both alcohol beverages delicious at the bar.

The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was eating my food in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they had several special offers at the moment. Please ask your server. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is decent. Lots of parking spots in the back in case the front is full. The spots are pretty wide. Ambiance: The vibes are classy, old school, and warm. It can also be kinda romantic too. I have been here a couple of times on dates. Since it's dimly lit, you and your date can squeeze in a quick smooching sesh. LOL This time though, I came alone. Solo dining FTW. Food: I ordered the Derby calamari as an appetizer. Then, for the entree, I ordered the 16 oz prime rib with a side of creamed corn. For dessert, I ordered the warm whisky bread pudding. The Derby calamari features lightly seasoned calamari rings and tentacles in a perfectly balanced blend of herbs and spices. The golden batter is crispy and light without being greasy or chewy. It was also served with a Bloody Mary cocktail sauce and classic tartar sauce. Get this classic appetizer, y'all. The 16 oz prime rib with a small side of cubed baked sweet potatoes and red and yellow peppers was cooked to medium rare perfection. The prime rib was perfectly seasoned and slow-roasted. The thing practically melted in my mouth. So heavenly! My only complaint was that my prime rib was a bit too salty for my taste. So the cubed baked sweet potatoes and red and yellow peppers did kinda off set the saltiness of the prime rib. I also had this same problem at the Blue Bayou in Disneyland. I hate it when my meat is over salted, but whatever. The creamed corn was such a great side. Definitely upgrade to this premium side if you like corn. It's so worth it. As a massive dork for corn, this was perfection in a dish. Lowkey this was the star dish for me. Not the prime rib, sadly. The dish is fricken sweet, savory, creamy, rich, and comforting. It outshined the prime rib by a mile IMHO. GET THIS DISH! The warm whisky bread pudding was surprisingly really tasty. This is a classic sweet bread pudding drenched in a rich, creamy whiskey sauce. I got this dessert because it was highly recommended by my waiter. Honestly, I can see why this moist, vanilla-based bread pudding with a generous pour of warm, sweet whiskey cream sauce was highly recommended. The whipped cream and single black berry added a nice touch to this dessert too. Staff: The staff here are very friendly, welcoming, informative, and fast. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

Found the 16 ounces a little too much. I'd recommend everyone just to stick to the 12 ounces. Sides: Still prefer the cream corn and spinach from Lawry's, but overall still a pretty solid meal. Cocktails: Secretariat was good, but if you get a pre-mixed solution from Sprouts and get a Top Shelf Scotch like the discounted Blue Label at Costco, you can create yourself a pretty good mixer at home. Think I should have went with a Pino Grigio or something. Soups: Solid French Onion Soup, although I wished the soup based had a more potent amount of sherry or Sauvignon Blanc. Overall thoughts: very historical indeed. You walk in here and you immediately feel that old money vibe. It has that Rat Pack era feel, Frank Sinatra Playing in the background, and has that Mr. Walt Disney might hang out here aura. Be prepared to dish out 100+ per person. This place has similar vibes to the speakeasy the Cellar in Fullerton California. But I found the prime rib to lack that melt in your mouth and balance fat to lean ratio that you find at Summit House and Lawry's. Nevertheless, service was AAA, Ally was great. Hosts were all really chill. Will return for the filet mignon next time. Not quite 5 stars, but deserves a 4

The spinach and artichoke dip is always a favorite and is a good size, they also will give you extra chips. The california burger was good, I also love their fries and the seasoning it comes with. The french dip was also delicious, but I think this time when we got it, the dip was not as salty and the bun was not as soft as last time we had it. This was my first time trying the beans and rice, it was super flavorful. The beans tasted similar to barbeque sauce. The brownie was also really good, I like how most of the nuts were on top vs inside of the brownie Although this is a pricier meal, it is a good meal & ambience for a date night or girl's night'

Houston's is one of my absolute favorites. I usually visit 2-3 times per month. The food and…read moreservice are reliably good. Always. Their French dip and "adult fish and chips" (pan fried petrale sole) are two of my favorites. If you order a martini they provide a fresh cold glass half-way through your drink. In terms of ambience, it's classy and upscale. They do not do groups so you don't have to worry about big, rowdy, messy tables. There's also no children's menu so I find that there are very few, if any, children there. They have a dedicated parking lot (self-parking) as well as street parking and an overflow garage.

We sat at a table by the front window facing the main drag. The area definitely has an old town feel with many restaurants and shops up and down the street. There is also a park right across the street. There is plenty of parking around the corner on the street and in a nearby lot. I started out with the Coughlin's Law cocktail (Aviation gin, house infused vanilla syrup, fresh lemon, egg white, lavender bitters, $16). It was a good light drink with light vanilla and lemon flavor. I always love a good foam top too. She started out with a Basil Paloma (Herradura silver tequila, muddled basil & grapefruit, fresh grapefruit juice, lime, simple syrup, seltzer, $15). It had good grapefruit and basil flavor, and was nicely balanced. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower appetizer ($14). The cauliflower was supposed to be grilled, but it seemed almost raw. The buffalo sauce definitely had a good kick. For my entrée, I had the Black Angus Basin Burger (manchego cheese, carmelized onions, arugula, special sauce, brioche bun, $19). The burger was excellent. The cheese, carmelized onions, and arugula was a great flavor combo. The fries were good, but I'd order them more crispy next time. She had the two taco plate with fish and potato tacos ($15). The taco shells were freshly fried, and it was a filling plate that she enjoyed. We had one more round of drinks and I had the Billionaire cocktail (Old Forrester 100 proof bourbon, lemon, house made grenadine, absinthe, $16). This was excellent. It was very balanced, and not boozy at all with a very light sweetness. Her second was the Smoke and Fire (Peloton de la Muerte mezcal, Ancho Reyes liqueur, muddled jalapeno & orange, fresh lime, agave, chili salt, $15). It was pretty well balanced with a medium smokiness. It definitely had a kick of heat on the finish. Our server Lakyn was friendly and provided good service. The menu prices are cash prices. There is an extra 3.5% surcharge if you pay with a credit card. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer was mostly a miss, but everything else was very good so I'm rounding up to five stars. They have a very good sized cocktail and food menu, as well as many beers on tap. They also have happy hour specials. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

We decided to try Nick's for lunch to celebrate my birthday. OMG!!!!…read moreWhat a great place to dine. We had a reservation so we were seated right away on the second floor, just above the bar. The music was a little on the loud side so conversation was a little strained. The food was absolutely amazing. Our server was very friendly and informative but was not quite as attentive as we would expect for an establishment like this. This was our first time here, so we had to try the Asparagus Fries. The asparagus was cooked to perfection but the batter did not have much flavor. Members of our party ordered the California Salad, a Veggie Burger, the Meatloaf and a Picante Pizza. The California Salad was smaller than expected but delicious. The Veggie Burger was excellent! The Meatloaf was the hit of the table. It was so good that my wife did not offer a taste to any of us. She was in food Heaven. The pizza was exactly as described and tasted wonderful. Since we were celebrating my birthday, our server brought me a delicious piece of double chocolate cake with a candle in it. Nice touch!! We also had one of their Warm Butter Cake's with some excellent vanilla ice cream on top. Absolutely wonderful!. This may be our new "go-to" place. Looking forward to return to savor the other items on the menu. Their drinks looked delicious as well, so we will definitely try those too.

Made a reservation about an hour before, so when we got there we were seated immediately. After a quick glance at the drink menu, had to get the Mai Tai with lilikoi foam on top. So delicious. Had my first lilikoi foam in Maui and I love that I'm starting to see it around Los Angeles now. Adds such a punch of flavor to an after we balanced drink. For food, we started with the bacon deviled eggs and shrimp taquitos. Those deviled eggs were lightly fried, which was different, then had apple wood smoked bacon on top, just a really tasty bite. The shrimp taquitos were also not what you would expect, nice and light but still very good. Entrees we went with the center cut fillet and the prime rib dip with swiss cheese on a brioche bun. That sandwich just melts if your mouth after dipping it in the jous, and the cheese was the perfect accompiament. The fillet was cooked perfect as well, coming out medium rare. Overall, great restaurant in Pasadena. Definitely get the Mai Tai, Devine eggs and prime rib dip. Taquitos were good and, if you're feeling like another hg er appetizer, definitely a way to go . The fillet, also great but I feel you can get it anywhere.
