Portions are small. Not like this at the store in Glendora/Azusa

Food taste good. However, for the price.... Where's the meat? Pretty disappointed in the portion size of the sandwich. Cheese fries and lemon pepper wings were delicious. Thank goodness I got an extra side as the sandwich was way smaller then the apps

I have been to the Shops at Santa Anita many times now and I try to eat new things every time I come. First time trying Charleys and it was not bad. I got their limited edition Kimchi Cheesesteak and it was good but for some reason it was on the sweeter side. The fries were solid.

Jalapeños and banana peppers added on ! Yum !

fire fire yum yum !!!!' i have not had charley's in ten years . last time i had charley's must had been in missouri like more than ten years ago . these are the best sandwiches ever kudos to these young cooks and the little blonde girl who took my order !!!! took these home and they were a hit !!!! super satisfying and delicious ! nostalgia with every bite

    SPICY LEMON PEPPER WINGS

I ordered spicy Lemon Pepper. And got what resembles buffalo. I showed the workers the mistake but they reassured me it was spicy lemon pepper. I ate buffalo boneless wings.

I always look for service first and I understand it's essentially a fast food place, so just know the service is going to be whatever. At least it's fast LOL. We had the Philly cheesesteaks sub with the ultimate fries. The sandwich itself was good. I personally didn't like the bread but the cheesesteak and rest of the filling were pretty good. My favorite was the fries! That was actually really good! I'll be back for the fries for sure.

    HORRIBLE dry and GROSS

First time visiting this spot. And most definitely will be the LAST!! I actually had to say excuse me for somebody to come around the back and help ME after waiting there for almost 5 minutes. I asked for a small sandwich and fries.. I didn't pay attention to how he was making it only how he was slapping the stuff on the grill. Worst customer service. I've never had a Philly cheesesteak without bell peppers this was just NOT eatable. DRY old meat. I took two bites and gave it to the homeless man. Waste of my time I should've went to Chick-fil-A. And I hate Chick-fil-A.

Cheese & Bacon Fries (and drink +$5.98 to order)

I visited Charley's Philly Steaks on a busy Sunday lunch on Dec 6th. We waited a little more than 15 or so minutes from waiting in line to receiving our meal and surprisingly had a decent experience. Large Philly Cheese Steak $12.49 Cheese & Bacon Fries w/ Regular Strawberry Lemonade + 5.98 1 combo meal total - $18.47 (without tax) Food- Philly cheese steak sandwich was pretty good. Although, it's not what you imagine when you get a Philly cheese steak. It comes with the meat and a bit of cheese, onions, lettuce, cut raw tomatoes, Mayo, and pickle slices on top. It's more of a typical sandwich but with not that much Philly cheese steak pieces. The flavor was pretty good but it was rather filling and we just shared one combo meal. However, I didn't particularly like the fries. They don't give you that much and the cheese is basically canned cheese (like imagine cafeteria school nacho cheese) + salty bacon pieces. I prefer a crispier bacon but the bacon was soft and you just knew it was frozen bacon. The ratio of bacon and cheese to fries wasn't enough and they don't give you that much for the order. Strawberry Lemonade was very typical but still tasty (a lil nostalgic for me haha) They just add normal lemonade with strawberry puree. Prices - I def think this meal is pricey. Fortunately, my fiance saw a sign that stated a $5 off if you download the app rewards so our total $14.85 for a combo meal, which was more reasonable. Overall, it was a decent meal. The wait could have been a little but better. I don't know if we would come back if we had to pay full price.

Great food! Great and friendly service!! My food did not take very long to be ready, and it was delicious! This time I tried their new wings boneless buffalo,YUM!! The wings were a very decent size and the amount of fries was pretty good too. My strawberry lemonade did not disappoint. I also ordered an old school cheesesteak, everything is made to order so it came out hot and fresh. If you come to the santa anita mall be sure to check them out you won't be disappointed.

Ordered the following: - Omi-Rice/Hamburg Steak - 8.5/10: Hella good. Thick, tasty patty on top of skillfully crafted and silky scrambled eggs that blankets a large serving of rice...and all of it smothered with their original sauce. Sauce isn't too overpowering, so the dish is well-balanced. You will be full after this meal. This would be my go-to if I came back, but there's so many other stuff on the menu! The restaurant was kind of empty during our visit today; however, it is a small place -- and it was kind of nice. Every other time I have passed it (usually in the evening) it is packed. This last visit was frustrating enough that we won't be rushing back. We came in just before 6:00 PM with a babysitter and a limited window. The restaurant wasn't busy, maybe five tables, but service was completely off. Our entrée took about 45 minutes. It was comped, but no one acknowledged the delay. No apology, no explanation, nothing. We also got the wrong side (fries instead of onion rings), and while it was corrected quickly, it added to the overall feeling that no one was really paying attention. The bigger issue was how absent the service felt. Our server never came back for a second round of drinks, and I had to go to the bar myself. When I mentioned it, the response was basically that the server was busy with another table, which felt dismissive given how long we had already been waiting. No one was busy. By the time food arrived, it was around 6:45 PM. The problem wasn't just the wait, it was the lack of communication or basic hospitality the entire time. I actually emailed the restaurant directly after our visit and never heard back, which is disappointing and honestly says a lot. At this point, it's hard not to feel like they just don't really care about the customer experience or about keeping people coming back. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but right now it doesn't feel like it's being taken seriously.

Our server was a young man named Courage, and I appreciated his patience and good manners. The host at the front counter was pleasant to interact with as well. The food was good overall, but somewhat hit or miss. We tried the 40z Florentine T-Bone Steak for Two (ordered medium), and found it to be acceptable overall - some portions seemed closer to medium rare, while other sections seemed well done. I'm no expert on steaks, and my limited understanding is that a steak this massive can show variation in Doneness, so please disregard this observation if you believe it to be unduly critical. I plan to return and sample the other steaks (and dishes) at this eatery, I get the feeling I will probably find them to be more to my liking. Of note is the restaurant's (current) novel menu pricing model - their steaks (and a few other items from what I remember) are 50% off their listed price every day except for "holidays and special occasions" (or something along those lines). I would consider this dynamic pricing model better than restaurants who mark *up* their listed prices during select days of the year (e.g. Valentine's Day). The parking lot is on the small side, but we were fortunately able to secure a space during our visit. The chimichurri that accompanies the steak is a bit on the noticeably spicy side.
