It's a pain because the driveway is shared with the drive through. So if the drive through line is packed, you'll have a hard time getting out of the parking lot. My bf and I stopped by on a Sunday night. Since it was late and we had to go charge the car, we decided to go through drive-thru. The young lady taking our order was not nice at all. Customer service was not good, but thankfully it was only drive-thru. When we pulled up she just took our payment and handed our food, no thank you or anything. Pretty solid Taco Bell, hidden in plain sight on Rosemead Blvd. it's an interesting location, sort of on the commercial-residential interface... there's a few businesses and restaurants around, and old-money neighborhood behind this fast food location, but if you're driving the speed limit, you'll miss your turn. If you do manage to make that hard right into the lot (important note: someone broke off a street sign here, right next to the driveway, and if you turn to sharply and hit that little metal stump of the sign post, you should look up my review for America's Tire also...) then you'll find a smaller location, primarily drive-through. The menu is the usual fare, and during evening hours, the guy working on the other side of the speaker box is really nice. This tends to be a place we only come when we need a quick cheap meal between piano lessons and evening kid activities. My full-size truck always seems to rub the curb a little bit on the final turn out of the drive-through, not so much because I'm a bad driver, but because it's a little tight and there's not a lot of run up from the window. I thought about turning right instead and just jump in the curb, probably would be cleaner, but eventually one of those sheriffs that rolls up and down roads made at 70 miles an hour would probably see me and give me a special certificate of appreciation. If you were a Pasadena kid, you remember the Naugles fast food place just up the street, that became a Dell taco... That became the Starbucks. Great stuff! Been coming here alot even before the pandemic and they've always been fairly consistent with food and service. I always order through the app or online and service is quick as always at the drive-thru. They don't actually start making your order until you tell them your order at the intercom. It's unfortunate that they got rid of the Beefy Fritos Burrito but I recommend getting the Beef Burrito. For $1.29 it's a pretty good filler if you're craving a snack. Can't go wrong with any of their tacos as well. Don't forget the mild sauce packet! Our personal experience is that our order was correct and actually the food was better than most Taco Bell's we've visited. This is the first location that wasn't freakin' afraid to put cheese on the tacos! Customer service was very good also. First time here since I was just visiting the area but this branch left a very bad impression to me. It took an hour for them to give me my order!?? I ordered my one meal through mobile app while I was inside the restaurant already to get their online special. I saw my mobile order went through. I patiently waited since I noticed that they're pretty busy with their drive-thru order. But after 30 minutes of waiting I thought they were taking too long for my order. So, I asked the lady on the register, she went to her register and told me they're making my order so I sat back down to my table. Another 15 minutes still nothing. The dining area is composed of 3 tables for two only. So, how can they neglect preparing my order especially after being in front of them sitting down and checking with them twice.
