A large plate with a bit of salmon on part of it.

I pulled into the parking lot and saw an empty parking space. As I was pulling into it a valet attendant sitting on the opposite side of the parking lot stood up and started walking towards me while waving his arms at me to pull out of the parking spot and drive over to him. This was my first visit to the restaurant so I did not know about the mandatory $5 valet parking. I got bitten by mosquitoes and gnats from the moment I walked inside the restaurant. After I got to my table they were swarming around me. I kept swatting them away while I was trying to eat. I noticed other customers doing the same. The place needs to install a few dozen bug zappers. When I decided that I was tired of fighting off the mosquitoes, I pulled my bright blue credit card out and placed it on the white tablecloth to make sure that my waiter noticed it but he didn't. When I was finally able to flag him down to ask for the check he took awhile to bring it while I was still trying to defend myself against the mosquitoes and gnats. When I eventually was able to pay the bill I realized that I could have had a much larger meal at another restaurant for a much lower price and without being constantly attacked by mosquitoes and gnats.

This was my first time visiting, as I came for a business luncheon. The environment and the restaurant itself are beautiful, especially the entryway. I loved the cart with the champagne bottle; such a nice touch. We sat in one of the reserved rooms and were served by two gentlemen who were truly on top of their game. Their customer service was excellent, efficient, attentive, and very courteous. As for the food, I'm not exactly sure what the dish was called, but it was delicious. The dessert and the bread were also very good. I'd love to come back on my own time and try other dishes from the menu. One thing to note: parking is limited. They do offer valet for $5, which is a helpful option. Overall, a great first experience. I'll definitely be back.

This is a very pretty restaurant to take a special person to or to just meet a friend. The food is always very good, and they will normally permit substitutions (vegetables, fries, etc.) - basically "they aim to please". Met a friend here for lunch and there's always room on a weekday for lunch - the restaurant does fill up in the evenings and on weekends. The server was very pleasant and accommodating with a change order. We just had standard fare today, the burger with fries and the turkey club. Also, a cappuccino. Very reasonably priced for lunch. A leisurely lunch and we sat around for another 15 minutes. Food came out in about 10 minutes time. Easy to get here - just inside the loop on San Felipe. Valet parking is $5 - you could park yourself, but it is a long walk.

Came here for a company lunch and was really impressed with everything from the decor, to the service, to the food. Started out with the shrimp and crab tower, had the salmon as my entree, and tres leches for dessert. I would absolutely come back for any future events.

Ordered the fish tacos. They were delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Interior was very nice, tables spaced for easy conversation. Parking was tight but $5 valet is available.

I came to celebrate my birthday/Christmas with a friend. We've both passed by here a million times (though I thought it was called Elvie's table and she thought it was Eunice due to the cursive letters lol) so we finally stopped in. The place was cute and cozy in the lobby. The main dining room is one big room and it seems like it used to be a house. They had a pianist playing seasonal music (and later happy birthday for me :). Rey have an assortment of complementary bread that was unfortunately the best thing we ate all night. We asked for more and took 3 waiters to finally bring it. The menu sounds super exciting but the pictures left a bit to be desired and the flavor did as well. We dined toast style from their small plates and nothing was mentionably good. The calamari was oddly thick and cut into squares which made me wonder if it was really calamari. The oysters Rockefeller were left uneaten after trying one each. The crab cakes also disappointed. My friend did like her edge salad though. They brought a slice of cake for my birthday that was good. Overall it was disappointing. They have free parking in front of San Faldo's or valet is $5

Cute little restaurant, kind of hidden in a sense. They have valet which is $10. Came here for an early dinner so it wasn't crowded at all! John was our server and he was amazing. I had the American Angus beef burger cooked a medium no complaints there. The Greek salad is also pictured. I did not try it, but it looked delicious. Loved my blueberry lemon drop martini.

I hosted my annual Galentine's Brunch here this year and it was a success! I highly recommend reserving Cooper's Bin for privacy. They allowed me to bring my speaker and play the music that I wanted and also to decorate. Management was very communicative and helped me create my own menu. I would absolutely come back with my family and friends for brunch!

Grilled 10oz Rib Eye

I love coming here. It has been awhile since I was here last. The food is always Awesome. I got the grilled-10-oz-rib-eye and my fried got the herb crusted sea scallops and shrimp with salmon roe. Everything was perfectly cooked. Ten stars.

Beef Tenderloin

I was excited to try Ouisie's Table for Houston Restaurant Weeks, especially when I saw the $39 dinner menu featuring a crab cake appetizer. Despite some reviews about forced valet parking, we had no issues and were able to park ourselves and walk to the restaurant. The ambiance had an older, more traditional feel compared to the fun atmosphere I was expecting given its proximity to the Galleria. I think I was probably the youngest diner there. The meal started with three types of muffins--cornbread and jalapeño cheddar being the BEST. I shamelessly ate six of them, and the waitstaff happily kept them coming! For the appetizer, I ordered for the crab cake. While the portion was decent, the flavor didn't stand out, and the corn pairing did not help. My main course was the beef tenderloin with vegetables and au gratin potatoes. It was simple and straightforward, but nothing memorable. The potatoes were my favorite part of the dish, though they could have been cooked a little longer for a softer texture and more browning on top as you would expect with au gratin potatoes. Overall, the service was excellent, but the simplicity of the food just wasn't for me. Can I get those muffins to go?

Came here for a work meeting. There's valet service for $5 at the front. The service was wonderful, food was decent and the ambiance was nice.

The giant pretzel we ordered for appetizer was excellent, highlight of the meal. The sourdough pizzas were pretty thin, overall I'd give the pizzas a 3/5. Of the 4 pizzas we tried, my personal ranking: 1. Spicy Goat 2. Duck Duck Shroom 3. Heirloom Margherita 4. Sweet & Spicy Pepperoni. Service was also disorganized and a little slow. I'd come back if I'm craving that pretzel.

The wings were also dry and we had to ask for ketchup so maybe add some of the syrup to it or offer gravy. But, I do have some things I want to say. First, there is absolutely no signage or anything that explains what the items are, or even the basic whether you seat your self or not. It's kinda cafeteria style, you pick up a tray and silverware and then give them your choices. I did get it explained to me after standing at the counter looking like an idiot for a few minutes. I kind of fell in behind a couple of guys that came in right after me, I let them go because I had no idea. Second, there is nothing to tell you how much things cost. Protein Choices were smothered pork chops, meatloaf, chicken, turkey wings, fish and... wait for it.. oxtails. Now I know some of you are thinking HARD PASS on oxtails, but believe me, these are a rarity to find on a menu, I would say because of the cost, but also because they aren't quick to prepare. If you are offering oxtails on your menu, you have to have plenty on hand and be confident in your dish. Micheaux's hits the mark. Third, and this is very important, the food PLENTIFUL, and I do mean truly two people could probably eat what I got served. personally, I LOVE oxtails, but because nobody else in my house would even consider eating these, (they are not with me) and because they are super expensive in the store, I rarely make it for just myself. So of course I ordered the oxtails., it's served with rice, and two additional sides and cornbread. I ordered greens and green beans. It was pricey , like 37.00 before the tip, and as I was paying I was cursing myself for spending so much for lunch but..It's so delicious! I do think that the prices should be posted somewhere because ( and this is why it's getting 4 of 5 stars) I never would have ordered this knowing I would not be able to take it with me to reheat for later. I wish this wasn't an impulse stop while I was driving somewhere else . I don't know how the guys that were ahead of me put it all away in record time. They left before I started the review. I stopped eating to do the review because I want to eat more before I leave this area of town. I don't think this will travel well, especially if I can't reheat it. OMG, the man next to me just ate all of his food and just ordered a piece of chocolate cake that is making my mouth water. How am I supposed to finish what is in front of me and think about the cake too? I also want to mention that I erroneously picked up a salt shaker before I started to eat... Not needed, nothing needed salt at all, everything was perfectly seasoned. Well, I am calling it, I will take the rest with me and figure something out. Maybe one day I will be in the area again.
