The Electric Wizard, Turkey, and custom!

My FAV sandwich shop in Seattle! The quality of the food is amazing and it's so fresh. Arrive is always pretty quick and it's a cute little shop with a cute covered wood outside seating.

It's a small, cramped spot with very limited seating so tight that it's hard to enjoy your meal or even have a conversation. I ordered their popular Detonator. It was labeled as spicy, but it really wasn't. I did enjoy the bread, though. The meat and sauce were just okay nothing extraordinary. I can definitely see the wait times being brutal. I waited almost 15 minutes, and orders were still coming out around 2:55. Google says they close at 3, so I'm not sure how late they keep taking orders, but I placed mine around 2:36 pm on a Sunday

The sandwiches we got were very yummy. I got the #2 turkey (no tomato) and the meat to bread ratio was perfect. We also got the italiano which was delicious and well sauced up. The service was quick. Seating was limited but we secured a spot right in the window which gave us the perfect vantage point to people watch.

The hype with the Rajun Cajun is real. Definitely a top 3 hot sandwich of all time. All the ingredients just perfectly mesh together and the bread is the start of the show, maintaining a wonderful crispy exterior while remaining soft inside. Heat is mild so even spice avoidant peeps can enjoy. If I got it again I'd add bacon.

Our Version of a Ruben sandwich with turkey pastrami

A+ independent sandwich shop. I came here while browsing at the farmers market. I walked by and could smell the beautiful aroma coming from inside. Another customer saw me checking out the menu and told me about the Rajun Cajun. It looked good, but I didn't want spicy food that day. I'm a Ruben girl, so when I saw their version of a Ruben I knew I had to try. Turkey pastrami was quite intriguing. Service was just ok, but that could be because they were busy. Sandwiches were coming out like clockwork, but due to the crowd I waited about 20 mins for mines, not too bad. The sandwich was amazing and huge. I was able to share it with my family as I could not eat the whole thing alone. The sandwiches here are well made with quality ingredients. You won't complain about the price when you see how much you get and how good it is. I love the funky vibe of this place and staff there look real chill people. You won't want Subway, Jimmy Johns, or Jersey Mikes after eating at this place. You will be spoiled, plus it's always better to support small local businesses, especially when they are this good. Please give this place a try.

Rajun Cajun is a must! There's a reason it's started on the menu! Very flavorful and the bread was soft and with the right amount of crisp. They were very friendly and I also got some bread ends. I liked the outdoor seating area on a nice fall day. I'm very excited to come back and try their other sandwiches. I feel this will be another favorite in Ballard.

This is without a doubt my favorite sandwich shop. I went so much when they had their Capitol Hill location. I will forever and always get the Rajun Cajun, it's so freaking delicious!

Oh yes! We were in Ballard at noon, walking around looking for a sandwich. The BBQ aroma drifted by. Searching for the source, we discovered Other Coast Cafe, takeout and minimal seating shop. OMG! Delicious. Ordered two and rated their Rueben the better of the two. Incredible! Enjoy!

Got the Rajan Cajun hot sandwich. It's definitely worth the wait and would recommend calling ahead especially on the weekends. The turkey pairs well with the red onion and spicy salsa mayo. $16ish is a bit steep but the sandwich is filling. Limited seating and a bit cramped with people standing and sitting around. Street parking is available but may get tricky.

Placed an order for pickup on my way home from work. I ordered the Rajun Cajun sandwich and the Detonator sandwich. The Rajun Cajun sandwich was my favorite, had a good spice to it. The Detonator is basically a spicier version of the Rajun Cajun sandwich but it was too spicy for me. Overall great hot sandwiches, would definitely eat here again.

Cute little hole in the wall in Ballard. Came here for lunch, and ordered the half hot sandwich and a chop salad - the total came to $24 with tip which seemed reasonable for food prices nowadays. There's limited seating inside, and a decent amount of seats outside that are covered. The place was pretty busy at 1 PM so it took about 20 minutes to get our food. I will be back to try other items on their menu.

Rajun Cajun is elite! They pack in the meat and the spicy salsa mayo is delicious. The bread is perfectly crispy, fresh, yet soft. Overall great place to get a delicious sandwich!

Every one of them were cooked perfectly with thin crispy crusts. Toppings were yummy and just enough of them. The potato one seem to be a tiny bit heavy with rosemary, but otherwise great. Kind of a spendy splurge, but as a splurge, worth it. Sorry no photos, we dug in and they all got disappeared pretty quickly.

The crust was somehow both burnt and soggy, the cheese had the structural integrity of a rubber bath mat, and the toppings were rationed like we were in the middle of a national emergency. Every bite raised new questions, none of which I wanted answered. And the price. THE PRICE. For what I paid, I expected a pizza with a sommelier, a personal assistant, and a handwritten apology from the chef. Instead, I received a lukewarm circle of regret that looked like it had been assembled during a fire drill. I've eaten frozen pizza that had more personality. I've eaten airport pizza that had more dignity. I've eaten pizza at 2 a.m. while actively questioning my life choices that gave me more satisfaction. The funniest part is the confidence. This pizza costs like it's exceptional. It tastes like someone Googled "what goes on pizza" five minutes before opening. Would I come back? Absolutely not. I have learned from my mistakes, and my wallet deserves better. Save your money. Buy two frozen pizzas and a bottle of wine. You'll have a better evening and still have enough left over to question why you considered coming here in the first place.
