I usually go to the Clackamas location and didn't know they had one in Vancouver. Same great service & food. Our server Cindy was enjoyable. Stunning views of the Columbia River.

The food was amazing the ambiance was great with a wonderful view, and the service was outstanding! I got the Wagyu Burger and all of the flavors melded together perfectly I don't normally eat burgers, so I was a little nervous about the choice but it was great. As a starter we got a spinach and artichoke dip and that was extremely tasty as well! The view was great sitting by the window and watching the sun set while eating made the ambiance even better. I will definitely be returning for a happy hour soon!

Only $10 for 4 - definitely worth it!

Stunning Columbia River views, perfect for a special celebration with your family or friends. The hardwood-grilled steaks and seafood like the bone-in ribeye or seared halibut are highlights, cooked over mesquite and applewood for great flavor. Friendly service, nice ambiance, solid happy hour. Try out their sundae! It is delicious!

Visited Oswego Grill for a business meeting while in Vancouver. Their parking lot is shared with a few other establishments, but I found ample parking was available. Upon entering, our group was greeted by two very welcoming hostesses who invited us to visit the bar while our table was prepared. The bar was nice, with a classic vibe and great selection of local wines, spirits, and beer. After a cocktail, we went over to our table. We enjoyed some of the best calamari I have ever tasted, along with amazing crab cakes for appetizers. For an entree, I selected the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl which was just what I expected. I'd highly recommend checking out Oswego Grill if you're in the area, perhaps to enjoy their nice Happy Hour options.

Oswego Grill is in a really nice location (the old Beaches spot). The view is great! The service was over all good, everyone was attentive and pleasant. There was a small mix-up with our order, but it was handled quickly and corrected without any issue, which was appreciated. I ordered the parmesan crusted sole, it tasted good but didn't quite wow me. Though it was still enjoyable. For dessert, I had the harvest apple crisp, it was delicious and sweet. Overall a good experience and a solid place to dine.

Went on a Friday when the Christmas boats were cruising the river and had a good view from our seats inside to see them. Took a group of young girls out for a dinner experience and they truly enjoyed it. This place was packed onna Friday night at 630, so make sure you make reservations and be on time for them. They can accommodate larger groups (we had 10) and the place is fairly spacious. We had everything from the calamari to the creme brulee. No one had an issue with their meal, and nothing was sent back to the kitchen. I'll be back to try happy hour one day!

Was excited to see the new restaurants and we had a 6:30pm reservation for 2. Showed up at 6:25pm and was told table wasn't ready and it would be awhile as we had to wait for someone to get up in order to be seated. Around 6:40pm the hostess said we could walk to the bar and find ourselves a table instead. This defeated the entire purpose of a reservation. We walked ourselves over to the bar area and found a spot. Waited almost 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Had to ask them for menus too. Another 10min later and we have menus. Server was quick to ask what we wanted but we just got the menus so were not ready. Server took about 15 more minutes to come back for our order but rather than take our order first, he took the order of the group that sat aside us, after we'd been waiting awhile. Food was delicious, drinks were good too. Slow service was frustrating. In all, it still looks how Beaches looked with some changes but nothing drastic.

This new 4mo old LOG location (Former Beaches Restaurant) in Vancouver has the same great food and service as the other locations. My beautiful wife and I went there for lunch on our anniversary after she picked me up from the airport. Or server was great and the food was very tasty. We both had an espresso martini. Both of our meals were amazing. The ambiance right on the river of course adds to the attraction of this restaurant.

5pm me and my friend came to the restaurant, 2 young ladies opened the doors for us and the gentleman took my name and number down and let me know it'll be about a 10 min wait. I got a text they we're ready to see us in about 15 minutes, and let me tell you the restaurant was extremely busy! Our server Amy greeted us, she was very kind and great personality! We ordered the burrata and beet salad as well as Vegas sushi roll. Both were excellent and delivered quickly For entrees we ordered Parmesan crusted sole and stuffed chicken (friend added bacon on-top). It wasn't a super long wait for our entrées, but I do wish they spaced the appetizer and entree a little bit closer together. Again, they were crazy busy so I understood. Both entrées were insanely delicious, however, the Parmesan crusted soul desperately needed more of the sauce. The entrée has two pieces of fish and halfway through the first fish, I was already out of sauce, and I was rationing! Our server came to check in when we were nearly done with our meals, so I didn't have the opportunity to say anything although even if I did it being the type of sauce, it is not something I would think would be easy to cook on the fly? Just for future reference, definitely suggest ordering it, just ask for extra sauce. Although it was incredibly busy, it didn't feel like it was crowded or loud, we could hear the music playing above us, but at a good level where we could still talk. Where they did see us the lightbulb above the table shine directly in my face where me and my friend were making jokes that it looks like I'm being interrogated, it was pretty dang rough, but funny. We ordered ice tea and Pepsi and you can add flavors to both (I added mango to my ice tea and my friend added guava to his Pepsi) I'll be back!

Met family here for lunch on a Sunday at noon. Tried to make reservations online through Open Table, but they require reservations over the phone for groups of more than 6. We had 9 in our group. When we arrived, our table was ready. I'm not sure how many 'big' tables they have, but ours was a round table that was tucked in a corner. It accommodated 9 adults nicely, however; our server(s) had a difficult time serving and clearing drinks & food for all of us. It ended up being a team effort, which was okay, but disrupted conversations at times. Our table ordered a variety of food including salads, fried chicken, steaks, salmon, burgers, and sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed their food, not one complaint. Even though we had leftovers boxed up at our table, everyone ordered dessert. We ordered apple crisp, creme brulee, peanut butter cheesecake and the famous Farrell's sundae. We had two birthdays in our party, so the sundaes were complimentary with a thoughtful birthday card signed by staff. So nice! All staff was friendly, welcoming, accommodating and attentive. We had no issues with separate checks, and they didn't automatically charge a 20% gratuity for our group as they stated during my reservation. Our server said they don't do that at their location. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

Very good restaurant. Was going to see tenant at adjacent NW condos so took neighbors there. Had poke app which was very good. Bit light on poke. Dinner had steak and shrimp, steak salad, seafood risotto and chix marsella. All very good except risotto bit bland. Dessert was amazing. Apple crisp and banana split. Although almost didn't get split as they said initially no bananas. Head waiter got us one without and was great! Passionately had mojito and creamsicle drinks. Cream like old school ice cream. Recommend for dinner.

Nice change up, miss Beaches but this group has done an outstanding job

YELP SHORT ANSWER: Yes, location, location, location with great service and food. LOCATION: Did I say location? Well continuing the tradition of Beaches for a fun American dining experience. Easy to find, parking can be a pain so if you go during busy times you may need to walk a bit, drop guests at the door so they don't hear you cussing looking for a spot. FACILITY: First class for river dining, indoor or out. Great Columbia River views, quiet enough and romantic if you need it to be. MENU: Updated and everything you could ask for is available. FOOD PREP: Nicely done, you can tell the kitchen cares, it is part of their brand and they know your eyes eat first. FOOD QUALITY: Excellent, I had the Burrata and Beet Salad, it was great. Highly recommended. LIBATIONS: Did not partake on this trip but I have spent my time at the Beaches bar area. It is close to the PIR race track so we'd drop in and have waaaaay to much fun. WAITSTAFF: Very professional from the host greetings, seating, and waitstaff at the table. Impressive and a step up from Beaches which was pretty great. OVERALL VALUE: It is a great location and value. I miss the past owner of Beaches who built one of my favorite Portland / Vancouver hangouts. I hear he may be opening up something new at some point but when I am back in the part of the USA, I will visit. . TIP: Sitting outside is special when you can, dress warm and enjoy a spinach coffee while dining al fresco. Chao.

My family and I have been here twice now, and both experiences have been exceptional! The staff, atmosphere, ambiance, food, and view - have all been stellar. We came yesterday after my husband graduated from the Police Academy. Our waiter Tony was super personable, professional, and attentive. Everyone throughly enjoyed their food. So far we've had: * Crab Cakes * Clam Chowder * Pot Pie * Steamer Clams * Stuffed Salmon * Baked Cookies * Prime Rib * Old Fashioned Great food, good selection of items, gorgeous view! Also, thank you kindly to the staff and manager for the lovely card and celebratory dessert.

    Is there a lunch menu?

No, but the main menu features soups, salads and sandwiches if that's what you're looking for. I was just in the LO location last night and they now have a brunch menu for midday weekends, but not at the Columbia Shores location.

DAIRY ALLERGY MISHANDLED -- WAITER LIED ABOUT CHECKING WITH THE KITCHEN…read more My girlfriend has a serious dairy allergy. Before she arrived, I spent time with our waiter going through the menu carefully -- no butter, no dairy, confirmed twice. He even went back to check with the kitchen and returned saying her meal was completely dairy free. It wasn't. Someone else at the table tasted the green beans and suspected butter. When I asked again, the waiter confirmed they'd been cooked in oil and butter -- after already telling us they were safe. By then the pork chop had been sitting on top of them and was contaminated. His response? "I can bring you another side." No offer to replace the meal. No offer to remove it from the check. Nothing. We had a show to catch at the Magenta Theater and no time to push it, so my girlfriend skipped dinner and grabbed something at Burgerville afterward -- she had a headache by the end of the show. The food and everything else about the evening was genuinely good. But between the false assurance, the contaminated meal, and the complete absence of any effort to make it right, I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone managing a food allergy -- and I'll be thinking hard before coming back myself.

Unfortunately this time, we left very disappointed. My wife has a sensitivity to spicy foods. Upon ordering appetizers for the table, we asked if any of them (that had a spicy description on the menu) had the option to have the sauce on the side. She proceeded to ask how the scallops were and went ahead with that order. There was absolutely no description of having any spicy component on the menu nor any mention by the server. Upon her first bite of the risotto, she went into a severe coughing fit :( I tasted it and acknowledged how spicy it was. She proceeded to just eat the scallops. We were mostly done when the waiter came to check on us ... My wife asked if the dish is typically spicy. Response was "oh yes" ... It was completely lost on us why he wouldn't have mentioned that to her upon ordering knowing how she questioned the appetizers. His offer at this point was a new meal .. which was nice but we were mostly done. There really wasn't much in the way of sincerity beyond that. It seems the right thing to have done was offer my wife (celebrating her birthday) who didn't enjoy her meal ... maybe a comp'd drink or maybe a dessert (no acknowledgment of her birthday at all. When you spend north of $300 ... Disappointing to say the least. Upon leaving, I decided to just express my concern to the hostess and suggested adding the spice level of this specific entree to the menu. I reaffirmed my wife didn't get to fully enjoy her meal. I received a lukewarm "thanks for letting us know." The worst part of the whole experience was a manager/owner type was a few steps behind her, made eye contact and was fully aware i had an issue and made absolutely no attempt to come over and address the complaint. I no longer blame the waiter for his lack of concern knowing it flows from the top. We all go out and spend top dollar at nice restaurants for good food but also, for service and the experience. The restaurant has been opened awhile and maybe is established enough where this isn't as much of a priority as it was early on. In contrast, we went out the night before to a more established fave restaurant of ours in Portland (Ava Genes). Had an incredible meal, incredible experience, and uber attentive service. They even went the extra mile and made a big deal that we chose them to celebrate. Ended our evening with a simple complimentary scoop of gelato/candle. It was a nice touch. Certainly didn't mind spending the $$$ for that evening. I wouldn't dissuade anyone from trying The Cove if they've never been (I'm hopeful they just had a bad night) ... but there are so many good choices out there, it will most certainly make us think twice before going back.

I am disabled and had a hard time fighting somewhere to park. Once we got in, we were greeted by a very friendly staff. We were sat almost immediately, which was fantastic. The place was pretty full. I ordered Arnold Palmer to drink. It may not seem that big a deal but these were the most delicious I've ever had. For me the lemonade usually has a taste of a dirty mop bucket. But this was so clean and fresh. We started with an order of calamari. Very delicious. It was not chewy or Oil soaked. Very clean very tasty. We also ordered a cup of clam chowder, which was good. For dinner I had the shrimp and grits. It came with a sausage, pasty type stuff, but I had it delivered on the side. This was my best decision of the night. I wasn't crazy about the flavor. But the shrimp and grits were fantastic. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the grits were very flavorful. My wife had the Parmesan crusted Sole. It was so good. The outsides were crispy with the cheese, but the insides were moist and flaky. Absolutely delicious. It also came on a bed of rice. It was perfect. The only drawback to my evening was the fact the bus boys kept trying to take our food off the table before we were done eating. I had to stop one guy from taking a plate. They was still half full of food. The place is very loud if you're looking for a quiet evenings, probably is not a good choice. Very hard edge noisy. However it's more similar to a high-end Bonefish Grille or stepped down Chart House. More margarita and house wine vs martini and select wines. Has a national chain feel. The menu has many seafood options but most are combinations with pasta, cream sauce, salad, sandwich or fried. The more naked fish selection is limited to salmon, steelhead and trout. Outside of this is a large selection of standard menu items like burgers, appetizers, and obligatory sampling of sushi options. Salads are limited and oddly placed throughout the menu. We ordered the miso black cod, harvest salad, a cup of seafood chowder, tacos and wine. The miso black cod was average for $38. I cook a lot of fish at home that's moist and flaky in the middle and charred outside. I believe this was steamed, overdone and a less generous size. The tacos were tasty with beef, grilled fish and pork belly (although they were out of pork). And the harvest salad was refreshing and fairly light. The wine list was limited and by the glass selections were somewhat standard. Our server (the bartender) knew nothing about the wine but allowed us to taste options. We asked for 9 oz and received what looked like at least 12 oz. In fact we couldn't drink it all. Overall the meal wasn't memorable and if we did return it would be for a drink, bar bites and maybe a burger.

Some bulletpoints because theres so much to say! - hubby…read moreloved his So Real cocktail. He said "would drink 10." - Dungeness Crab Bruschetta was so so good! We recommended it to the table next to us, and they liked it too! - Mushroom soup was so smooth and delicious! Perfect mushroom flavor without tasting like dirt. - Beef Tounge was not for me (I really hate capers ). Also was not a fan, personally, of Blood Sausage. Hubby loved both so if thats your thing, you'd probably really like them! - The rest of the Asado Argentina for Two was AMAZING! - I put the chimicurri on everything and they were so nice and brought me an extra bowl of it AND extra togo!! Thank you!! - The wine selection was incredible! I had the '21 Sangiovese and it was so so good. - Our server was very familiar with the menu and gave us such a good description of the specials and each dish we asked about! - The rest of the staff was very nice and they took away dishes and cleaned our table (literally wiped away crumbs) from previous ones so quick. - The overall vibe was so cool! I really want to sit outside next time we visit! I will be recommending this place to everyone from now on!

Oh, the joy of Ox…read more It's become a staple -- the kind of place that quietly works its way into your rotation and then suddenly holds weight in your personal ranking whether you meant for it to or not. As of right now, it sits at number one for my dad and a few of my friends alike. For me? I'm not ready to crown it just yet. I need a few more visits, a few more comparisons against my usual haunts. But it's up there. No question. When I first moved to Portland almost a year ago, this was one of the spots that kept coming up. Highly recommended, spoken about with a kind of confidence that usually means it's either overhyped or the real deal. We went for Mother's Day. Then again for Father's Day. My parents loved it -- the kind of love that doesn't need explanation -- and honestly, I get it. The service is immaculate. Thoughtful, attentive, but never hovering. You feel taken care of in a way that's increasingly rare -- like the front of house actually wants you to have a good time, not just turn the table. There's a real sense of pride in what they're doing. The team feels aligned, almost symbiotic. Front of house lifting up back of house, back of house delivering in a way that makes that support feel earned. Whether that relationship is perfect behind the scenes or not, it reads as seamless from the outside. And the food -- it's just excellent. Cooked perfectly, consistently, without unnecessary theatrics. No foams, no gels, no overworked plating trying to prove something. Just honest, confident cooking over fire. The kind of food that reminds you how good simple things can be when they're done right. It's indulgent in the best way. The kind of meal that might even tempt a few vegans back to the dark side -- at least for a night. It's not cheap. Let's be clear about that. I don't go here casually, and I'm not pretending I do. Thanks, Mom and Dad. But it's the kind of place that's worth saving up for -- not just for the food, but for the experience. For some people, this might be a random Wednesday night. For most of us, it's something you plan for. And when you do, it delivers. It's special without making a big deal about being special. And that's exactly why it works.

Talk about a hit for the little town of Camas!…read more We stumbled upon the Feast for my birthday a couple months ago... it immediately became a favorite. First, let's talk about their drink game. I'm a gin martini guy and they know how to put a smile on my face! Their bartenders are excellent. My partner loves their wine selection. He even strayed to trying their whisky recently and enjoyed that, as well! Second, their food well portioned and beautifully presented. My first meal there was a beautifully roasted chicken with a potato side... absolutely delish! My second time they weren't offering that special so I ordered the chicken off the standard menu. It was fine but one could venture to say that maybe they're heavy with the sauce. I like a more natural presentation of food without all the sauce fuss. Nonetheless, it was decent. My partner has ventured all over their menu and has been pleasantly pleased with all his choices. Lastly, I will rebut the other reviews of "reservations, had to wait, empty tables, blah blah blah"... nonsense. Our first experience we did not have a reservation. This is a small establishment and they staff for the night / crowd they expect... part of that algorithm is how many reservations they have. Yes, there may be empty tables but they also will seat you when they have the staff available to serve you. We'll even go farther to say, we personally prefer not being pushed out of our table so they can turn-and-burn for a tip. They take their time, they give you time to converse and enjoy. They aren't pushy, they move at a timed and rhythmic pace to allow for a good and enjoyable experience. Food is excellent, service is stellar, price is appropriate for the quality and ambiance. We can't recommend this place enough. For those who are just poking around to write a negative review, shame on you. This is a great little gem in Camas. We should take some local pride and lift up our locally owned restaurants. We highly recommend and look forward to returning!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a dinner at Feast at 316. It was our first time…read moreto eat at the restaurant. We ordered their Caesar salad, the 14 oz strip steak, and the crispy potatoes with monkey gland sauce along with a bottle of wine. We split everything since their prices were not really in our budget. The Caesar salad was a bit of a disappointment since it was very skimpy for the price. It also really did not meet our expectations of what we expected a Caesar salad to be. The Romaine lettuce was limp and not even torn into smaller pieces. The salad contained as many tomatoes as it had lettuce. There were not any croutons nor was there any anchovy, The dressing tasted too lemony. The cheese was not Parmesan, but some other soft cheese. Our steak was cooked to perfection and plenty big enough for us to split. The steak has been cut into strips to make it easier to divide between us. It was served with a creamy white sauce which was rich and tasty. The potatoes were not crispy as they were described on the menu, but soft as if they had only been steamed. The monkey gland sauce was not to our liking. (The name of the sauce was not even appetizing.) We didn't think the sauce paired well with the potatoes, so we left most of them on the serving plate. We asked for bread and were brought some wonderful bread containing Kalamata olives drizzled in olive oil and served with pepper sprinkled butter. It was absolutely delicious! Our server brought us some extra bread after we told her we did not care for the potatoes. She claimed that those potatoes were fried and crispy, but she did take them off of our bill. The service at Feast at 316 was excellent from start to finish. The ambience inside of the restaurant was really nice too. The brick walls were decorated with historic photos and relics. There are even old movie seats at the entrance of the restaurant which came from the Liberty Theater in Camas. It's an expensive place to eat since the menu items are Ala carte. We ordered the least expensive red wine on their wine list and it was $60, but it was a very nice Zinfindel! The salad and the potatoes did not live up to our expectations, but everything else did.
