Ambiance: the decor is nicer than your average KBBQ. The light features at the bar are really cool. No K-Pop blasting at volume eleven or videos playing everywhere, so it's a little more upscale. Perfect for a date night. Service: it was great. Promptly greeted at door. The servers were on top of side dish and sauce refills. The did most of the cooking. Food: my wife and I got the pork combo, and we were stuffed by the time the fourth and final round of meat came out. We couldn't even finish it, so I thought the portions were generous. If Meokja Meokja is 5 out of 5, my son and I give OSEYO 3.5. The meats were decent but compared to Meokja, portion was smaller. They also skimped out on steamed eggs. It's about a 30 minute drive from me and stopped by for dinner on our way home from WVA. Not worth the drive to go again. Also, Meokja opened another spot in Chantilly with a nice outdoor access bar. And their STEAM EGG, omg like the serving size was like for 4 people, egg was overflowing from the top it was amazing. The steam egg is quite heavy though, since it's pretty dense versus the usual light a fluffy once we always see. Not my favorite, but still pretty good. Someone told me this place is pretty good so I want to give it a try. It's a hike from Vienna to Leesburg. I called and made a reservation for dinner to make sure since it's Friday. The place was busy when I checked in and was seated quickly even though we showed up early. Since I am a beef guy I went with the Prime Combo for 2. All the beef's are fresh and well marinated. The portion is big and we couldn't finish everything. Dillan was our server and he did a great job of cooking and replenishing the side dishes. The price is good for the quality. With so many KBBQ around the DMV area it needs to stand out. They don't offer Wagyu which is unusual. They do offer many other entree so that is good because not everyone like BBQ. The place is well lit and not heavy in decorations. Parking is not hard to find at all. Will I come back again? Not sure because it is far from where I live. A new BBQ place just down the street from our home. They are located next door to Fords Fish Restaurant. Parking is easy, in front or in the back parking lot. Food options include ala carte and combo choices. This is not AYCE. We chose a beef combo. It was delicious. The portions were ok, I wouldn't say it was abundant. If you are used to AYCE then this place is not for you. The beef quality was tender. For the Galbi, I wish the portion was more than the one bone and steak. Service was great. Your servers will cook all your meats. Water is served instantly and the complimentary are fresh. They immediately offer refills. They provide a salad and corn cheese. Their soup and rice is also included. I see a big back room that could accommodate larger parties. The very elegant gold plated serveware makes the place an elevated bbq place. I've been to this place over ten times, and I can confidently say it's hands down the best KBBQ spot in Northern Virginia. I've had Korean BBQ in Korea, LA, and all around NoVA, and this place easily ranks in my top five. The meat quality is excellent, and the portions are very generous. The side dishes are fresh and taste just like my grandmother's cooking. The yukgaejang here is also outstanding. I grew up eating the dish often, and this restaurant truly perfects it. Service is up there as well. The staff are incredibly attentive and make sure you have everything you need for the best dining experience. What a great experience! The owner Peter couldn't have been more kind and our server was awesome. This was our first time and we're super confused. Peter took the time to explain the menu and the experience. We took all his recommendations and they were amazing. We went with the combo and our favorites were definitely the marinated meats. Be sure to plan for 2+ hours as they don't rush you and cook the 4 meats separately right at your table. Attached is a Korean style ice cream place that was equally impressive. Probably my least favorite KBBQ I've been to. The prices for the amount of meat are really not commensurate, and heck for less than this you could get AYCE at many other places with more options that don't limit you to just a couple of choices for the way the menu is constructed at Oseyo. Also found it weird that they stand there and cook the meat over top of you the whole time, so it kinda limits being able to have a conversation and enjoy your meal. Typically KBBQ they bring the meats out and you cook it yourself. The meats were a bit overly salty, but overall OK. The seafood pancake was the best I've ever had. Service overall was very attentive. Personally I'd rather go to Running Dish or somewhere else in the area that has a more traditional experience and offers AYCE. read more

They do not offer AYCE BUT they have some good combo selections. We opted for a beef combo consisting of about 4 types of beef. We chose the combo for 2. In my opinion, I would have preferred an AYCE because the brisket was simply not enough for me. The other beef choices were good but not sure if I would come here over an AYCE. Their complimentary starters were fresh and refills were generous. They do offer a corn cheese dish, fresh salad and hot soup. Service was good. The staff makes every effort to cook for you. Once the restaurants started to fill up, the staff cooking decreased. We were fine with that since we do like cooking our own. I give them 5 starts for a new restaurant but hoping they can offer an AYCE in the future. The competition in the area has some good AYCE options. read more

The tables and chairs were very comfortable, my knees weren't hitting the burner like every other KBQ. The quality of the food is unparalleled, well seasoned and marinated. This new Korean barbecue spot rolled up like the quiet kid in class who casually turns in a masterpiece--no drama, just vibes and a lot of food. First off, the place is spotless. Like, your mom-would-approve level clean. And the servers? Sweet, fast, helpful, and somehow always around right when you need them. It's like they have table ESP. The side dishes came through strong -- kimchi that slaps, pickled radish doing the most, and this potato salad that lowkey stole the show. Meat quality? Excellent. Marinated, juicy, sizzling greatness. And they cook it for you at the table, which is cool -- even though I sometimes like to grill it myself, they nailed the doneness every time. Respect. Also, can we talk about the bougie gold-plated tongs? Like, who gave this place the right to make me feel like Korean barbecue royalty... at this price?? Very fair prices, especially for the portion sizes. I left full, happy, and vaguely more attractive. They're new, but they're already operating like seasoned pros. Went here last Wednesday with my friend to try this new KBBQ in Leesburg and I have to say my experience was more than pleasant. I got the prime rib combo, seafood pancake, and army stew. The meat combo was so flavorful and tender. The army stew was probably the best I've ever had with the before and after taste having a rich flavor and the seafood pancake was crispy and seasoned perfectly. What an amazingly great meal! I've avoided Korean barbecue joints in the past because I don't want to go out to eat and have to cook for myself. Oseyo has the cooks, so you can just enjoy your meal. And what a meal! Beef cooked so tender that you can cut it with your fork. Pork that was as flavorful as any barbecue I've ever eaten. And huge portions! We were a party of 8 and it looked as though we'd ordered enough food for a small army. But, no leftovers! You must order the seafood pancakes! One of the best you'll find anywhere. The marinated ribeye steak will have you clamoring for more. Once you sit down and your server begins cooking, you'll be eating nonstop until you have to loosen your belt and beg them to stop feeding you. But then you'll want more a few seconds later because the food is just that good. Nice spacious restaurant with comfortable chairs and lots of light. We'll be going back there next week for dinner. The marinated galbi and joomuleok is my favorite, they're just perfect not too sweet or overly strong, allowing the natural flavors to shine through. I honestly can't stop eating once I start. am not sure what the all the hype is all about. We walked in and was greeted by a rude hostess. we didn't have a reservation and so, she literally ignored us after asking if we had a reservation or not. After standing there for about five minutes, I asked her if they are able to accommodate us or not. she said "I don't know". Then, older gentlemen walked up and asked if we were waiting for a table and we said yes but we didn't have a reservations. He said that tlie can give us a table once it was cleaned up and pointed to the table. That table got cleaned up and noticed the hostess sat another couple. We notifield her that the table was meant for us by the owner. She said that the owner was mistakn. Definitiy not a great start to this place. We drove 30 minutes to try after seeing the reviews and so, we decided to stay after they told us that it would only be few more minutes. We sat down and was greeted by a friendly waiter. he was probably the best part of the experience but here is the breakdown of the food: 1) I love fish roe soup and is in their website but is not available on their menu. disappointing. why have something on your website if you don't serve it. 2) bbq is just ok. nothing to rave about but you charge premium pricing for a meeiocre quality and taste. 3) I ordered the spicy beef soup because they didn't have the fish roe soup. that was actually pretty good. maybe 8 out of 10. 4) I see that people rave about the bon chon but it was very mediocre. I have bought better kim chi at lotte. we have eaten at over 30 Korean bbq and this place is below medium grade and would never go back especially with premium price of the meats and lack of quality. Great ambiance. Nice aesthetic and decor. Higher end Korean BBQ, but not stuffy, and priced just right. Very friendly service and full menu of all the beef and pork options that one would expect; along with the a la carte entrees (dumplings, glass noodles, Kimchi pancakes, beef and veg soup, etc, etc). Loved the bronze plates, spoons, and chopsticks to elevate the experience. Additionally, loved the bar seating, the full rail of sprits, wine, beer on tap, soju, etc. We really enjoy Gogi 92 in Leesburg, but we found this to be a bit nicer and more elegant. Additionally, we really enjoy Ingle in Tyson's Corner; we found this to be more approachable and less expensive, with limited compromise. Can't wait to return! read more

My wife and I had a craving for good Korean food but were not enthusiastic about a long drive to Annandale. So we decided to give this place a try. We will NEVER go back to Annandale again! Oseyo offered a luncheon special for two that featured three different kinds of meats that were all delicious along with a good assortment of bonchon and tasty dipping sauces. The presentation was great, the service was excellent AND we came home with leftovers! My spouse, mom and I went a few months ago. It was delicious, and our young male Korean waiter was great. Very helpful, friendly and provided tips to make the experience over the top. I personally would have like more variety of banchans, but not their fault. Us in Virginia who never got to experience the wonderful banchans, would like to experience all the various types. I wouldn't mind if they upcharged us, but provide more variety. What they did provide was delicious. This is just a suggestion because I can't find a good place apart from Annandale who major in banchan. I love that the Chapchae was not too sweet. Some make it so dripping with sugar, but this was right on point. Ambience was fine, like a warehouse but I can understand, it really helps with being able to keep the place clean and maintained.
