The owner was very kind, and they were quite generous with the portions. They even included plenty of salad and miso soup. I really liked that the lunch boxes (Doshirak) came with a variety of side dishes like rolled omelet, japchae, tempura, and more so you get to enjoy many different items along with the main dish. The takeout was packaged very well and everything was neat and clean. The restaurant itself also looked very clean inside. The portions were generous and you can really feel the hospitality. Highly recommend!

There is so much to love about this family-owned business. The friendly owners obviously put lots of care into the dishes that they prepare, and they show great attention to detail. We love that soondubu comes in a stone bowl, for example. We also appreciate how the proprietors show us how to eat the assorted dishes, like which sauce accompanies which item. It feels like they want us to enjoy things "the right way," and that goes to show how dedicated they are to showcasing this cuisine, regardless of the diner's level of experience with Korean food. Our whole family appreciates how well executed their cooking is. And the owners don't just excel at authentic Korean dishes, both more traditional (rice cake soup) and street food/fusion ones (rose tteokbokki). They also make exemplary ramen! The broth is to die for--my picky son's favorite in NOVA. And I can tell just looking at the pork belly and the ramen egg that each component is masterfully prepared and delicious on its own, and as part of the noodle soup bowl. One thing that you'll consistently find at this mom-and-pop business is that their food preparations lean toward balanced and clean flavors. Their food is noticeably less oily compared to similar establishments. The clean and pleasant environment are also a perk. I appreciate how they always have fun food competition shows playing in the background. (And I don't get it when restaurants leave television programs with less appetizing content on the screen or screens, hah.) They are constantly coming up with new specials, like bulgogi hot pot (dine-in only), so we'll be back for familiar and new-to-us dishes.

We typically love a good all you can eat choice so we decided to check it out. The service was quick, and it was a busy day in the village. The meat quality was delicious!! I would definitely recommend this spot. It's a casual dining spot, and you don't need a reservation. We did walk in and got a seat immediately. The hard thing to find with kbbq is great quality meat, sides, and dips for the meat. This spot literally does all three! And they were super clean. They also have the little food lamps above each table. The price is a bit more expensive compared to other kbbq spots in the DMV. Most places know and hot pot are typically around $35 for All You Can Eat, but this place is $45. It's not somewhere I'd be coming to all the time, since there's other really good places with all three for around $35; however, I'll still come once in a while. I think most places in Leesburg Village are a bit over priced so maybe that's just the area.

My wife and I go to Korean bbq quite frequently so it was going up against the likes of Meat Project and The Qui. I can honestly say it holds its own. They have an all you can eat (AYCE) option now which is appreciated. The quality of the meats here is a highlight for sure. The brisket and the galbi are highlights for me. The pork was also really good. The cheese corn and steamed egg were pretty good sides as well. The service here was good. The waiter asked if we knew how to cook it or if we wanted help. That was appreciated since many other places insist on cooking it for you, which defeats the purpose of kbbq imo. The ambiance is very clean and modern. But the difference we noticed is that the exhaust fans are lower. It's nice for keeping it from smoking up if the grill is too hot. But it's a little annoying for trying to talk to someone on the other side of the table.

The bulgogi fries are a must. Their bulgogi burgers are very flavorful (although I would get two patties if you're hungry). The rice bowls are huge. I am always down for a good fusion meal so we will be back!

The Food: I went with the Korean Chicken Bowl for my meal. The protein had a slight bit of flavor, but when combined with all the toppings, the bowl was bland. The veggies lacked a lot of that flavor and the rice was a little hard and tasteless. The bowl lacked those big and bold flavors that typical Korean and Mexican food usually have. It was not good at all. I ended up not finishing the bowl and throwing it out unfortunately. Also, for the price, the bowl was quite expensive for the quality and quantity of food you get. The Service: Service was okay. The owner wasn't as friendly and kinda had me rushed through what I wanted to choose. I was the only one in there and the food took a little long, but I assume it was because they had to cook the protein per order? Other than that, service was just okay. Overall, a 1/5. Didn't like my experience here unfortunately. Maybe other items might be better, but since everything was pretty overpriced, it kinda steered me away from giving it a chance again

The menu was very extensive serving Japanese and Korean dishes. I started off with the Yellow Tail Collar for my appetizer. I was excited when I saw the size of the portion being served to me. Although, it was very dry which was a let down. It was also a bit bland as well. For my main dish I got a rice bowl, an unagi bowl to be exact. Again, it was just adequate. Thankfully the bowl was a generous amount of food. Sadly, it was just a bit one dimensional and I got tired of eating it after awhile. Also, I felt like the bones were a little more pronounced than what I am use to when eating eel. Therefore, my experience was average. I may give it another shot if I am in the area again.

Attached is a picture of the what the Lion King Roll is supposed to look like and what we received. The crab meat on top looks like a spaghetti. The end pieces of the roll (that didn't have the tail) were all avocado and not even a little shrimp, I know that skimping out on the ends is normal but no shrimp at all is ridiculous. After eating two pieces my stomach has been hurting for the last 7 hours. The last time we got lunch from here the rolls we normally love did not taste the same, but at least they didn't get us sick so we thought maybe it was unlucky. They need to fire whoever is making the rolls during lunch because this quality control is terrible.
