Very friendly staff with very tasty food. I had the MKE burger and tried the cheese curds on the side. The burger was spot on and is worthy of an instant heart attack. Luckily I survived to try some of the 40 tap beers they are sporting. The curds though were generic and average as I would have liked them to be fresher. DOLLAR TACOS? Yup. I had never been here prior to last week. Went with a friend who recommended we go on Taco Tuesday and he was buying! So we went at 12n to have lunch. I personally liked the inside of the bar/restaurant. It had that "old feeling" style with all the wood work. It was not large, but not too intimate. I would say, just right. We ordered tacos and only tacos. The service was Excellent. Two young ladies working and running the food and drinks. I had the steak tacos. They were served "right out of the taco truck". Excellent. Corn tortilla, onions, cilantro and seasoned meat. Simple but delicious. And of course, what a value. I am sure I will be back. If you are in the neighborhood for some good food, served quick, at a reasonable price, hit them up. Great local spot for the neighborhood. Alot of beer on choice nut this bar seems average and dull with little decoration and so forth. It didnt really seem a drinking place and they serve food maybe emphasizing this as much. A good looking old building on the outside that has a great look is also a benefit of coming here. read more

Stopped here for lunch today. We both had a hamburger, and it was a great burger. We also tried the cheese nuggets with bacon ranch dressing. They were very good, not salty at all. Food came out fast. The waitress and bartender were very nice. A big change to the place from when it was the old corner bar. Great job at renovating the old Winners Circle. Our waitress said in the summer it is really nice to sit outside on the patio. We will be back. read more

I called and ordered a "flaca burger" the person who answered the phone even said around 3 times that the flaca burger is "vegetarian" when my Mother bit in to it she noticed that it was a meat patty not the black bean patty which is the vegetarian choice my mom was highly disappointed that she couldn't enjoy her burger. read more

Bahn Mi Burger sounded pretty good, so I gave it a whirl. First bite was like a flavor explosion! I have had Bahn Mi sandwiches and though they were meh, but this damn burger was at a whole other taste level. Server suggested I get a jalapeno and mayo on the side. I do not like mayo much so I green lighted the jalapeno. The jalapeno was the kicker that made an awesome burger one that was one of the best I ever tasted. It hits all the flavor profiles, and they are all distinguishable. Fries are good as well (same as Oscar's), but the burgers here are notch up in flavor and quality (IMO). I was with two co workers and do not remember what they had (due to the Bahn Mi trance I was in), but they enjoyed it immensely. Winner's has Mexican food on Tuesday's, wings on Wednesday, fish fry on Friday's, and beer specials to go along. From what I seen coming out of the kitchen, and what I ate, you will not be disappointed no matter what you order. Keep up the excellence. read more

Just a continuation of great burgers as the Pierce location. Only this joint has new style burgers! Thumbs up to Oscar for stepping up and trying new things with burgers and having success with it. These new burgers have Mexican style toppings on the like Salsa Verde, Chicharron and Chorizo for examples. The combinations are very delicious! If your tired of the same old burgers and are tired of the Red Robin over priced chain burgers and the Not in Milwaukee, Milwaukee burgers try something refreshing and new at Oscar's! You won't regret it! Since this new location opened in my neighborhood I have been their twice. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual with modern touches inside. Their wood lacquered tables are clean and don't smell like dirty rags like some other places (Red Robin). I can't remember how many beers were on tap but there was at least twenty and they were pretty much all Milwaukee brewery beers! From City Lights, MKE Brew, Lakefront to Pabst! They have a large selection of alcohol for your mixed or straight drink needs! Anyone that has ever visited the old Winner Circle bar in the past I will have you know this is not the same place! Fully remodeled and beautiful! Their outdoor seating will open up later but expected to be just as nice as the inside! Weekday lunch was a little busy but that could be because they just opened but there was no wait both times I went. Go visit and support local guys doing great things! read more

Oscar's new restaurant, Oscar's Winners Circle is a real winner!!! Oscar continues his burger bliss with all new recipes along with a "build your own" option. The specialty burgers are just that..Special!! We ordered cheese curds for a starter. They were hot, crispy, and melty just like a cheese curd should be. We also chose 3 different special burgers 2 MKE burgers The Macho, and The Gordo.(see pics) The flavor combinations of all three burgers were amazing. You could tell a lot of thought went into the inventing of these burgers. My wife called the Gordo burger "The best burger she ever had!" Hard not to agree with her. We were there for burgers so I didn't pay much attention to the rest of the menu items. If they're anything like the burgers they should be great. All burgers came with delicious Parmesan dusted fries and a pickle. Service went well even though the place filled up quickly due to it being opening day for the Brewers. Plenty, ( I think I heard 40) beers on tap to enjoy. The only complaint I would mention was that the burgers all ordered medium rare were well done but still flavorful and had some degree of juicy ness to them. I can only imagine how much more we would have enjoyed them if they were cooked properly. Not a deal breaker though. We'll definitely return. Great job Oscar and team!! read more

I went for a burger and chose to go with one that would be safe if they messed up...it was supposed to have grilled onions. I asked for no onions as I am allergic to raw onions. The burger arrived and it had raw onions. The waitress asked me to explain why I was only allergic to raw onions then blamed the kitchen staff. After asking the manager what she would like done for me. I received a freshly made burger that was not seasoned. I asked for the check and there was an 18% tip added to my total. I'm a fan of Oscar's on Pierce St. I can't say the same for this place. The burgers are skimpy in comparison. Whereas the Big O is loaded, the Winners circle had bacon cut up in small pieces with a thin helping of the ingredients listed. I was willing to give the banh mi burger a try. I won't order it again. A bahn mi's stark contrast between the succulent, rich protein, crunchy pickled carrots and daikon, and fresh jalapenos (give or take cilantro) is what makes it such a satisfying sandwich. That was not the experience of the burger. The pickled vegetables were soggy and bland, and the Patty was cooked well when I asked for medium. I'll stick to the other Oscar's. read more

What a great find. It was our 'plan B', but everyone agreed it worked out. Food prices were very reasonable, so I was skeptical. Well, we were not disappointed. Our sons got burgers, which had more meat than bun(a great thing!). I enjoyed the Cunbano with very good hand-cut , seasoned fries. The cherry on top is that mom loved her salad! The service was disorganized and slow, but the waitress meant well and was very sweet. Food was meh. If you want a cheap burger and a beer, this place will do. Not someplace I'd return for a "good burger" and definitely not as good as the original. Side note, the shirts referencing Coco were adorable. read more

Got the Asada Frys, Quesadilla (think it was supposed to have chicken, it didn't, but it was still great sooo, I didn't care), and a burger all for under 25$, pickup w a little tip, sorry guys I'll leave more next time. A bit of a different flare from the one on Pierce street, but a hell of a lot closer for me, so that's awesome too! The gentleman who cashed me out was super polite, nice and pleasant also. We find ourselves frequenting Oscar's Winner's Circle because the staff makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Plus, the food tastes so good and doesn't cost a lot. Didn't feel like cooking or eating leftovers late last night, so I went to Oscar's and ordered the "Chicken Wings and Basket of Fries" for take out. Took my order home and realised that this was no better than a McDonald's order! Chicken was not fried fresh nor where the fries. It was obvious that both had been sitting for some time under a heat lamp and the chicken was dry and leatherey! The fries where limp and soggy, no crispness yo them whatsoever. I should have figured that something wasn't right when after 2 minutes of placing my order, they where bringing it out. I mentioned this to the bartender and she even said that that wad usually fast for that order to be prepared to go. I was highly disappointed and after eating a few wings and fries I decided to leave the other 75% for the seagulls outside my apartment. Best of luck to their fragile stomachs on this one! Rating: Not good at all for the $$ I spent there. I'll try again maybe next year. Hopefully that food item will improve. For now, not for me!! read more

Think the food was great, with one exception, asked for a medium rare burger, got one well done. So if u want anything other than well done, make a point of expressing to the waitress, because I overheard another party complaining of the same thing. So either someone doesn't know how to cook rare burgers or it's by policy. However I would think if that was the case they would say so to avoid issues. The fact that I had this issue but still gave them 4 stars is testament to how good the burger and fries were despite that issue. They really do put some thought into how they make their food.. super good. read more
