    CHEESE & BACON FRIES
    Jennifer Q.

Best cheese & bacon fries I've ever had. The cheese is actually melted like nacho cheese, not hard like a "melted" slice of cheese. The bacon is chopped into tiny pieces & are crispy. Great combo on fries.

I add no pickles but they putting pickles on the all 3 orders So is a big mistake because My son is allergic to the pickles.

Not fast food looking but slightly upscale for fast food.

I originally stopped at the Chinese place a couple doors down for lunch after seeing it and I had not had lunch. I walked in past the boarded up window and grabbed a menu and got on yelp to see what people think. 2 stars didn't look good so I walked over to the chain Philly Steak place because it had 4 stars. In my Yelp early days I kept alway from chains because I was a Snob and I only sought out local places, I stop everywhere now to be better rounded on Yelp so this place is in. The first time I stopped here I saw the lights on in the window but they were closed, the windows looked the same today and the door opened. Definitely not what I expected because the first thing I noticed was the high nice looking tables and smaller ones along walls with nice chairs, bar like and definitely not fast food chain. Vases with flowers on the tables, flat screens and dim track lighting. I was promptly greeted by a nice woman who guided me through food/order process which is order at the first window, Sm/Med/Lg, do you want grilled peppers/mushrooms/onions, mayo/lettuce/tomato, yes to all please, do you want to make it a meal, move down to the grill and watch them cook the Steak and assemble it. I ordered the Philly with Steak and fully dressed which looked pretty good, melty cheesy hot off the grill steak cooked to order on a toasted bun with fresh veggies. Although its not an overly stuffed sandwich the Med was fine for me. The bread was fresh/soft/toasted which was perfect for all the hot/cold toppings. It was not bad and tasty with a steak taste and not one of those phillys where they use the roast beef from the beef sandwich and call it a Philly. Overall for a chain I can't rip them for anything because the service was good and they have a decent cooked to order fresh sandwich for a chain, the slightly upscale interior for a chain doesn't hurt either, Yah I'm a fan.

The lunch menu has a huge variety of options, which made it tough to choose. I went with the BLT on sourdough, served with a pickle spear and thick-cut potato chips. It totally hit the spot. The bacon they use is fantastic. My friend ordered the Sriracha Melt (ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, jalapeños, and sriracha mayo grilled on white bread), which also came with chips and a pickle. Immediately devoured. The salads looked incredible....the table next to us ordered a couple and they looked absolutely divine. Next time for sure. The adjacent market is a must-browse too. It's packed with specialty products and rare finds that you don't see everywhere, making it easy to walk out with way more than you planned. Great food, great service, and a fun market to explore. Highly recommend stopping in if you're anywhere near West Allis.

The sauce mixed with everything well and was tasty. Overall this this super simple concept that works very well and how has no one else in Milwaukee thought of this and I'm sure other food trucks will steal the concept in time because the food truck doesn't have to stock tons of chip varieties which takes up space on a small food truck kitchen which is smart, let the customer supply the main dish. We came in about 20 minutes prior to close and decided to get it to go because we didn't want to be those people. However, when they gave us our sandwiches they said it was fine to eat in and really no trouble at all. We still ended up taking it to go but I feel like most establishments wouldn't offer that. My order consisted of jerk egg rolls and a jerk chicken plate with rasta mac and sweet plantains for the sides. The jerk egg rolls were good, but I don't think they're my favorite in the Milwaukee area. One of them had a large piece of green pepper in it, so I assumed the other two would as well, but I didn't find it in the others. Other than the green pepper in the one egg roll they were filled with just chicken and cabbage, so not a ton of varying flavors. The rasta mac is mac and cheese with some diced peppers mixed in. The peppers added a little flavor to the mac, but were also easy to pick out for those that don't like peppers. The plantains were probably the best I've had. They were a little mushy instead of hard, which I liked, and their sweetness was apparent. The jerk chicken in the plate came with half a chicken and relied on rub instead of sauce, which worked for me since that's how I prefer jerk chicken. I do think there's room for them to go a little heavier on the rub without making it too hot for most people.
