According to my conversation with Chubby's Cheesesteaks, Chubby's and Señor Gorditos is the same company. Given I don't see a listing for Señor Gorditos, I'm leaving my review here. I ordered Señor Gordito's for a customer lunch with a scheduled delivery time of 11:45 AM through a third party app. However, I received a call at 11:11 AM saying the food had already arrived at the customer site, well ahead of schedule. I had planned to be there by 11:30 AM in case of early delivery, but thankfully my colleague was able to accept it. I ordered the chicken and waffles. It was SO rubbery I fed 3/4 of it to my German Shepherd. Not sure if he liked it either. I also ordered the fried cheesecake which I haven't opened yet because that meal literally just disgusted me. I'm not a regular and thought I'd give it a try. I guess my quality standards are too high! For $30 I could've had AMAZING Sushi! HUGE menu! The result though is they can't provide something as simple as a grilled cheese sandwich. There's absolutely no excuse to ever serve a grilled cheese sandwiches that looks this way. After the traffic and parking hassle of the one on the east side it's nice to have this location. After having more experience with cheese steak sandwiches than years past I am giving three stars. This location is just south of miller park next to dickies BBQ with plenty of parking around the building. The place is narrow and very small with a tiny dining area, the kitchen is bigger. See my pictures. The on line menu is nothing like the one I looked at so I will post pictures of the real menu. The menu is massive for a sandwich shop and the biggest I have seen for a sandwich shop. I ordered the steak cheese steak with cheese wiz. For one thing the cheese wiz was not very salty like the one I had on the east side. The sandwich is probably 11 inches long and looked great. The cheese wiz was thick and creamy. The bread was soft and fresh. The steak didn't have steak flavor at all like my favorite place has. The steak was kind of like any beef sandwich beef you get around. If you took out the cheese wiz and added an jus sauce it would taste like any regular beef sandwich. With that being said it was still a good sandwich and hit the spot. Over all the cheese steak was better than the chain sub places I have had and it does hit the spot but it's not one of the best. Staying at a relative's house with 0 food, I ordered a sandwich from Chubbys because it's been years since I've had a cheesesteak sandwich. Via doordash app, placed order at 9 45. Estimated to arrive 10 30, but didnt arrive until 10 45...I was bummed but not too upset, until I saw my sandwich. There was an insect on the top of the sandwich on a tomato slice. I used to work as a prep cook and am a pretty big stickler for food safety practices. I see fruit flies as a huge red flag that prep food is being left out/kitchen isnt clean. Disappointing, gross. To the owners, invest in better bread. Your bread always seems stale or stiff. As an East Coast native, I have higher standards for Cheesesteaks than most Midwesterners. However, judging by your star count, even the Midwesterners don't love these. Cousin's could make a better Cheesesteak. That's sad. Get it together. We went back, and I have no idea why. We kept receiving menus and coupons in the mail, and time made us forget why we didn't like it. It turns out, we don't like it because we don't like paying $40 for what amounts to a fast food meal. We ordered 2 burgers, 1 side to share, 2 small drinks, and 2 shakes with a BOGO half off coupon. The burgers and cheese curds had a weird aftertaste, like they were freezer-burned or something. It tasted okay, but not great. The woman taking our order was nice, but needed to ask other workers a lot of questions and didn't know much about the menu. (We asked if the jalepeno poppers were with cheese or cream cheese inside, that sort of thing, she couldn't input our coupon, etc.) I'm not trying to be stingy, but we can go to WAY better restaurants for that price. AChubby's on the Eastside was the first one I visited. I was very excited when the one here on Miller Parkway opened. I will say it's not the friendliest joint to visit but the food is always very good. It's that eat after you drink food! It's that late night burger fix! They have a burger with jalapeño poppers on it and it is super delicious! I also have to compliment the Gyros also! The chicken Gyro is also a great option for those that don't like lamb. Food is alright, Customer Service sucks!! Several weeks ago I ordered a sandwich for delivery. It was over 2 hours late because they gave the driver the wrong address. I tried to contact management and I have yet to get a response. Yesterday I went in to the Miller Parkway location, hoping I would have a better experience, NOPE. The place was filthy, not a clean table in sight. If you got within 15 feet of the soda machine your feet stuck to the floor. When I went to pick my order up at the counter, the young lady just kind of slung the basket in my direction. Then I made the mistake of asking for ketchup, I apparently interrupted her conversation with her co-worker, she rolled her eyes grabbed several packets from a box near the floor and rudely tossed the ketchup packets on top of my sandwich instead of in my out reached hand. It had WAY too much of a bread-to-ingredients ratio. Take a lesson from Potbelly's, Cousin's, etc. and remove bread from inside of roll to make room for ingredients... THIS IS SANDWICH 101. Second time here. First time I had a Philly cheese and was disappointed. The sub was huge but meat had very little flavor. Tonight I ha a bacon cheeseburger. Which was another disappointment the meat patty was falling apart before I even started eating. This time all I tasted was mustard and ketchup. What a horrible experience! After the delivery driver left I opened up my plastic bag with two restaurant to go containers and a root beer....no ice cream. I ordered a fried triple combo, gyro dinner and a root beer float... The fries that came with the gyro were enettable. They had the texture of left overs that had sat in a fridge a few weeks and then sloppily reheated in the microwave. Sloppily reheated. If you can call the temperature I was give even close to warm. The whole dish was sadly discusting. The gyro was also cold, pita bland and rubbery...chew...chew...chew...come on pleases break down...chew. The meat was cold, dry and bland. The cucumber sauce, also bland. I paid extra for some lettuce. It was missing. The fried triple combo, Twinkie,Oreo and snickers, all deep fried were well, deep fried candy. It was clear by there texture, temperature and condensation in the box they had been camping out in there awhile. I would say they were also not good but it's deep fried candy...how bad can you really screw that up before your not going to eat it. They were cold and soggy by the time they got to me....I didn't eat them. And then there was the root beer float. I should say the root beer float that never was. So, in my bag I see an A&W root beer, but no ice cream. I call chubbys and tell them what had happened and asked them to send me some ice cream or mail me a refund. The kid who answered the phone was incompetent to say the least. He placed me on hold for 4 min until I hung up called back and told him to go get a manager. So then the manager gets on the phone. It's been now 10 mins and I'm dealing with a $4 worth of ice cream issue. This should have been so easy for them. I could have gone to the store in that time. The manager preceded to LITTERALLY YELL at me and scolded me for being impatient because they were so busy. When I asked what his name was he wouldn't give it to me, nor would he give me the name of his manager. He did inform me that he "really isn't like a manager of sorts" and that there isn't a manager that works there. Hmmm...something sounds fishy. Either chubbys is violating noumerious rules and regulations stated in the WI stat which overlaps quite a few federal regulations, including employee positioning....or...this dude is straight up lying to me. At least by then he had stopped yelling at me. He never stopped arguing with me. WOW. I was accused of being "confused" about my order, told I was being unreasonable, telling me they didn't have record of my order, asking me to come and show them the recite. WOW. If I could give negative stars I would. After paying $40, $10 of which chubbys cheesesteaks STOLE from me all I am left with is this rotten food, a rotten experience and an A&W root beer. I guess the root beer was pretty good. A&W. In a can. While being assertive and again getting yelled at (I don't mean yell in an opinion way, but yell like when your momma ain't to happy with you and uses your full name way) after 15 mins of a disasterious run around, I hung up the phone and took some anxiety meds. Have ordered here through DoorDash multiple times and that's the way to go. Decided to stop in one day on my way home and they skipped my ticket twice to accommodate for DoorDash. Sat there for almost 30 minutes waiting for chicken tenders and a hot dog. Staff was friendly but two people stood around while one guy ran around the kitchen trying to cook everything. They finally asked us which ticket was ours after standing there (the only people in the store) for 20 minutes. Food is good, cleanliness is questionable.
