Still love their chicken, especially their whole wings and leg/thighs. I miss the ginger flakes…read morethey used to have, but it is what it is. Lemon pepper salt works great. This last time, we got the 50 piece whole wings ($58.99) and 34 piece legs and thighs ($47.99). Enough to feed 20 people. With this order, we got 7 little packets of coleslaw. Hubby keeps picking up and forgetting to check, but we really needed more coleslaw. They also forgot bread. But a lot of hot sauce. One time, we got the 15 piece whole wings and 8 piece legs and thighs. It was plenty to feed two men and one gal with big appetites. Should be plenty for 4 people with big appetites, with leftovers. I generally get a lot so we can have leftovers. **On many occasions, they forget to pack coleslaw and bread. Check! 7/2024- Fried gizzard on this last pick up order. A+! Notes: - fried whole wings - deliciously golden, not too salty. They are whole wings, in 3 sections, which is nice if you like the wing tip area like I do. - potato wedges - these are more expensive than regular fries, but there's no Merrit in paying the extra. Regular fries are pretty good, and the wedges are subpar. - don't get lost. They are located right on the corner of Teutonia and Good Hope, inside the gas station. (and don't get gas here - it's cheaper just down the street)

We tried Mallards at Bayshore for the first time this week. This place has really flown under the…read moreradar, I'm at Bayshore somewhat frequently and didn't realize they were even in this spot. The restaurant is large, spacious, and well decorated. We had a group of 8 and were seated right away on a Wednesday. We got there in time to order a few $5 apps from the happy hour menu. We all liked the elote fritters! The walleye and crab cakes were also good. We all tried something different. Between the NOLA Salmon, Ahi Tacos, Shrimp Cobb, Spicy Pasta, and even the cheeseburger sliders. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. They even brought out an Apple Pie for my dad's birthday! The only complaint I had is it was very slow. From ordering, to getting our food, and the longest wait was for our bill. With a 1.5 year old, we were eager to get going but waited about a half hour after finishing dinner to get the bill. Prices are pretty fair for the quality and quantity you get. Definitely would still go back, just not if we were in a rush!

Some hits and some mehs but a solid place I don't want to see it go away. Apps. Curds good. Above average Seafood guacamole meh. Not bad. Not great. Corn fritters. Wow. Crunchy. Flavorful. Best app we had. But I heard wings are good. But I am a tomkens and old Elsa's fan. So I can't say for myself. Mains Barrumundi blackened on mashed Potatoes was soft, melted in your mouth. Solid fish. Nashville chicken. Crunch. Solid. Spice level was on point but not overpowering. My daughter needed milk but she is a spicy wimp. Sweet pickles and good slaw. Fries. We're just fries. Meh. But sandwich was solid. Others had chicken and waffles and double smash burger. Both were clean plated. Chicken and waffles were huge too! Surprised my bud finished them. He's like one of those thin people that could do competitive eating if they had a long distance version. Not speed just long steady stuffing that surprises you how much they can eat. Will come back. Try the menu. You will have mehs but you will have hits. Once you've been a couple times you will learn what's good for you.

The…read morerestaurant is in a huge strip mall that's looks sketchy in a stand alone building with a cellular phone store. The have a bulletproof drive through revolving door which speaks volumes of the area. The guy in the drive through seemed friendly. I ordered the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, dressing and peach cobbler. The food was no joke because it was a big portion of heavy comfort food. Nothing was seasoned well and I come to expect this . The whole meal was covered in brown gravy and came with a corn bread cake. The mashed potatoes were like smooth/whipper but had a different flavor that I'm not used to. The dressing is a traditional corn bread style with I think had turkey breast in it. The meatloaf was two slices and very dense like it had very little fillers. The preach cobbler was like a scoop of peach pie jammed in a container, not too sweet and very dense/thick. I didn't eat half of the meal and one spoon of the peach cobbler and 5 hours later I'm still full. I was confused with the small cranberry sauce container but the dressing was like turkey dinner in a lump. I know the area will keep people away but it's never stopped me from exploring a new restaurant and why my Yelp nickname is the neighborhood traveler, there is so much good food in neighborhoods everywhere.

The doors were locked and there was a cone blocking the drive-thru even though the business is advertised as being open until 5:00pm. My son had to get out of the vehicle to move the cone. Upon approaching the window the woman just stared at me. She didn't greet me or ask if she could help me. I gave her my order number and she told me the price. I paid for the order and she told me it would be another five minutes. They make you pull around to the parking lot and give you a buzzer. She was very unpleasant and said, "walk to the window when the buzzer go off ". Currently there are four other cars parked and waiting. This place is unprofessional and the staff act as if you're irritating or bothering them by patronizing their business. On top of that my mother was calling and I could hear the phone ringing and they intentionally did not answer. A woman brought my food out eventually and she did not smile, did not apologize for the delay, and did not seem to care. She wanted to see my receipt gave my food and then just stared at me. After a few seconds she said "buzzer "...and I completely forgot i had their buzzer because the thing never buzzed. She just randomly brought out food and had to guess which car it belonged to. The entire experience was terrible and the food was not that great! The price for two dinners totaled $48. That was the last time i will be patronizing this restaurant and I will not recommend this place to anyone either.
