They were out of quite a few menu items, including fries, bone-in wings, wraps, sandwiches, and Mac and Cheese, and a few other options. For a first visit, it wasn't the best start because I felt like I wasn't really getting the full experience. Since fries were unavailable, I asked if I could substitute extra chicken, but that wasn't an option because my order had already been entered. One of my friends was able to do it since they had asked before checking out, so just something to keep in mind if you're ordering. I ended up getting the 24-piece boneless wings ($24.99) with limited-time Bourbon BBQ, Cajun Voodoo Rub, and the new Sweet Carolina sauces, along with bleu cheese. My friends ordered the chicken tenders. The employee helping us was friendly enough and let me sample the sauces before deciding, which I really appreciated since the staff wasn't very familiar with describing any of the flavor profiles. The Bourbon BBQ was probably my favorite. It had a rich, smoky barbecue flavor with just enough bourbon sweetness to balance it out without tasting overly sugary. The Cajun Voodoo Rub definitely brought the heat. It starts with a little sweetness before the cayenne kicks in, giving it a nice balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. The Sweet Carolina was a top hit, it had a tangy mustard-forward flavor with a touch of sweetness and light smokiness. I enjoyed it, but if mustard isn't your thing, I'd probably skip this one because it's definitely the dominant flavor. The chicken itself was decent. It had a nice crispy coating and was tender, but I wouldn't say it was especially juicy. For me, the sauces really carried the meal and made it much more enjoyable. One small thing I appreciated was that the restroom was for employees only. I completely understood since it was later in the evening and they probably wanted to avoid issues after the bars let out. I asked politely, and the employee was kind enough to let me use it while we waited for our food. Overall, the staff was nice, but the service felt a little indifferent, and being out of so many menu items, and waiting quite a while for my wings made my first visit less enjoyable than I'd hoped. I'd probably give them another shot, but I'd order takeout next time instead of dining in. Hopefully I'll be able to experience more of the menu on a future visit.

The bun on the chicken sandwich was a delightful brioche, and the chicken was crispy, but my gosh it was SO SPICY. Our friends ordered the spicy chicken on purpose, and even they were dying. The chicken slider was also made very spicy, but there Hawaiian King roll it was served on was really good. Our 'replacement taco' slider was now ready, only to see it was just a tender, and it didn't include fries. Waited 5 more minutes, and received literally 6 fries in a box. Total wait time of over one hour. Just overall disppointed that our order wasn't correct for multiple reasons, replacements did not quite make up for it, and the wait time time was unreasonable for what we ordered and the amount of customers. 2 stars for the good bread and everything was served fresh and (temperature) hot! Hopefully Secret Hot Chicken can figure out their timing, whether it's cooking or staff related. I would personally not come back unless I ordered ahead on Toast Tab and had a confirmation it was ready, and would check my food for accuracy before leaving.

We received two very generous gyro platters, filled with large portions of very tasty gyro meat, rice, yellow pepper, black olives, sliced red onions, 2 containers of tzatziki sauce, and a pita bread. The tzatziki was a little thin, but was good poured over the rice. The container was so generous, that it might have been enough to fill up 2 moderately hungry adults or one very hungry adult. We each finished most of our platters, but did have a little leftover for a later snack. Bottom line: the food was excellent with spices and moist meat and fresh tomatoes, onions, and flavorful olives. The portion was more than generous size and we will definitely return often for a filling meal. Now we are looking forward to trying other menu items like their burgers.
