Great service, consistent and fresh food. The prices are really good. It can be noisy at times.

Culver's is a Wisconsin staple, their butter burger and krinkle cut fries are the star of the show. I usually get a Oreo cement mixer as well. For the price point, it's a win-win situation, good food and solid price point. This specific location stays pretty busy so the wait time is lengthy both for dine-in and drive-thru. Nonetheless, the staff tends to be helpful and wanting to deliver the food as fast as they can. The space itself is kinda snug but overall it's an okay location. read more

You know typically when a place messes up the customer should not be expect to be dragged from his booth back up to the counter while the rest of my meal sits in the booth unattended, to be charged the dollar 59 difference for the restaurant mistake. Well back up at the counter the cashier even admitted it was her mistake, I questioned the fact that I had to pay the difference and I was told it was the "corporate policy". I've been coming here for a long time and it's just gotten worse and worse, so this will be the last time. Imagine losing a lifelong customer over $1.59! The food was good. I ordered a spice sandwich meal, and I came to the realization once I received and had bitten my sand which that is has no flavor such as mayo or anything. It does come with lettuce and tomatoes tho, but I would say let them know to add mayo to your sandwich so it doesn't be dry. Overall the service was fast. read more

Culver's is the Wisconsin classic fast food joint. I gotta admit, I was pretty impressed with how they were running that joint. Hella staff on deck for help and even doe the line could be trippin that Jon moves fast. You ain't ever going to be waiting at that joint for more than 15 and they'll get you right. Aside from the chaos of just being busy, this is the cleanest Culver's I have ever been to. You could tell tables were freshly washed and a staff member walked around w a spray bottle waiting to clean. Usually when I go to Culver's I have to ask for a filthy table to be cleaned because all the tables are filthy. So good job Culver's! I will specifically go to this location from now on!! read more

Like all fast food joints they are short staffed and use way too much unrecyclable plastic. The food itself is a cut above the more national chains. The drive through wait is often shorter if you get in the credit only line, though I don't know why cash would be such a problem. They haven't taken PPE for COVID19 very seriously, so it's a pretty solid assumption that handwashing isn't a priority either. read more

I rarely do anything resembling fast food, but this was another Essential Worker lunch run for the office by request. I was very concerned when I saw the long line of cars, but the staff was incredibly efficient. There wasn't anything on the website indicating that they do call ahead orders, but apparently they do, so you're welcome fellow Yelpers for that tidbit! I was able to hand them my order sheet and they took care of the rest, running the food, my card, and the ice cream to and from the restaurant. It's my Mom's favorite, so we visit here occasionally. I had a Reuben - it was really greasy, and I won't order that again. My Mom's North Atlantic Cod sandwich, however, was GREAT! We stop here on occasion (usually when we're out running around and need to grab a super-quick lunch before continuing on our errand running way). I'm not a fan of most typical fast food joints. However, Culver's is definitely A-ok! My first visit to them was way back before I moved to Milwaukee. We stopped in for custard. It turned out to be our least favorite spot in town for custard--so, we never went back. Then, a friend of mine reported that they have decent burgers and fries. So, one day, during a mad dash, I brought the kiddo in here for a quick bite. And, my friend was right. While, with so many other amazing options for custard, I wouldn't stop here for their frozen custard--their hot eats are solid and just the thing if you're in a hurry. I've had a couple of their burgers (both solid). I will say that their single patties are pretty thin, so if you're wanting meaty burger--I'd go for the double. Their fries are crinkle cut and tasty. They're made even tastier by their new Wisconsin cheese sauce, which is definitely worth the minimal up-charge. The service at this particular location (we've always dined in, so I can't speak to the drive-in sitch) has always been fast and friendly and the dining area is always kept acceptably clean when we've been in. Hope nobody went on 04/18/23 around 7:30pm, large lady in the back was making ice cream with no gloves on. Not only that but there was another guy that grabbed receipts off the ground, kept the gloves on and continued to make ice cream dishes for the drive through. Waited 45 minutes to get ice cream, usually I'm pretty patient. Nothing is as good as the first time is it? The first time was like a good grade on a report card. Reoccurring visits became far and in between. And then disappointment slap my wallet in the face....I love fish sandwiches. Culver's is the best on a good day. The next two times, the tartar sauce was missing, then too much and no cheese. Others were coming and going then finally someone came to tell us that they forgot to make part of our order so they were waiting for that part to finish. Sad to say that culvers has went downhill. Their chicken tenders have gotten worse, I think it's the breading getting too clumped or soggy. Culvers! I do love the burgers but the patty aint' as juicy as Shake Shack's or In-N-Out's... why!!! My double bacon cheeseburger was ok, I upgraded my side and my drink. I had the premium side- onion rings. I upgraded my drink to a custard. Of course I had to have a custard cuz I was in Wisconsin, with brownies and marshmallow mixed in. The custard was huge... So I am dropping this from four stars to three stars because of a constant issue I am having with this location. The food is still 100% on point BUT WE HAVE GOTTEN OUR DRIVE THRU ORDER WRONG THREE TIMES IN A ROW NOW. The first time it was wrong they gave my boyfriend a triple and a double cheddar burger rather than two singles AND we got extra cheese curds, the second wrong order we got the chicken dinner and they totally forgot our second container of mashed potatoes we ordered (on the receipt) and just last night again they gave us extra burger patties and our receipt showed something different. They must really want to fatten us up. The time they forgot our large mashed potato I went in to order our food to go. While I was ordering a woman came in who said she drove all the way home to find her order was wrong. The manager on duty was rude to her AND AFTER SHE LEFT MOCKED HER AUDIBLY IN FRONT OF ME TO OTHER EMPLOYEES. Wow, just wow. Would give negative stars if I could. Managers arguing with each other right behind the counter. Employees complaining about customers and calling them stupid in earshot and sight of other customers. Highly unprofessional staff in general. The older lady at the register is loud and rather rude. Watched several customers have to come inside after receiving their orders because their order was wrong. Out of basic supplies. They require employees to wear masks, yet at least half of them are wearing the mask underneath their noses. If you're going to make employees wear them, at least make them wear them correctly. read more

The employee who took our order was friendly which was nice to see when it's a cold night out. The food came quickly and it tasted good - better than usual. Typical Culver's but this one had the fastest service of any location I've ever been to. We got there at lunch time so we knew it was going to be busy. I must compliment the young man who was working behind the counter. He was very friendly, even though he had much to do. My Dad was with me and he's seriously hearing impaired. Often you have to repeat things multiple times or "translate" what's being said to him. This guy took it all in stride and had a sense of humor about his line being held up! Of course, I joke about it all the time so, I think, I kind of "threw him off" as he listened to me. Anyway, since it was so crowded I went to find a table while my sister and Dad got their drinks. When they found me I went to get mine. I got back to the table and our food was already there! Talk about a shock. I had one of their limited time only specials, the brewhouse burger on pretzel bread. Whoo, this is some good stuff! Thankfully, I'd collected a bunch of napkins because this sandwich is MESSY but so good. The fries are nothing spectacular... regular crinkle cut that you can buy in the freezer section of any major grocery store. My sister had the broccoli cheese soup which, in my opinion anyway, was a bit disappointing. The flavor was good but the broccoli was so cooked down there wasn't any nice, or recognizable, florets. We both like it more on the chunky side but it was acceptable. The custard was chocolate strawberry... can't go wrong with that!! I didn't know this but, if you are over 60 y/o, mention it when you order. They offer a pretty generous senior discount. We all could save a buck now and then! read more

Who would have thought that I'd have become a fan of a corporate burger chain after experiencing In-N-Out?! But it's true. I had never been to a Culver's until I moved to Milwaukee. I met up with a friend for lunch and when we pulled up, I read some sign in their window about burgers and custard? That's a ...strange combo, no? No! It's an amazing combo... mostly because their custard is killer. Their burgers taste super fresh (not just fresh, super fresh) and their icecream and such is yummy too (...admittedly, which icecream isn't?). Though I am stingy with my 5-stars, Culver's is about as close to a 5 as I think I can give any fast-food joint. Keep it up Culver's, I am definitely a fan (much to my waist's lament). read more
