I'm torn with this Raising Cane's review. I wanted to love it. But- it was just average. We both got THE BOX which came with bread, slaw, the tenders, canes sauce, and crinkle fries, and a soda. $11.59. Total of just over $24. It was busy. I expected piping hot food and lots of turn over and cooking to order basically. Nothing should have been just sitting. Our chicken wasn't really hot and was soggy not crispy. Odd. The sauce definitely was needed to boost the flavor profile- because the chicken itself didn't really have a flavorful breading - and it was soft. Odd. My husband had two sauces - I got one. Odd. The fries weren't bad- but not terrific. The toast was warm and nice. The slaw cup- mine was going brown and my hubbies was beautifully fresh. Odd. We just self served ourselves from the coke machine area. They did have sweetened and unsweetened tea there. The lemonade was behind the counter. There were a lot of people in the drive thru and inside where we ate. It got to where there was no seating and people stood just looking at you hoping you were finishing. The bathroom was in constant use. Crazy. Families and teams and couples were there etc- so it was family friendly. The service was full of smiles and thank yous. At the end I found a black hair in the bottom of my styrofoam food tray. I know it happens. I didn't complain. Not sure if we will frequent them. If there were half stars- it would be a 3 1/2! Easy to order and food comes out pretty quick. Sometimes the inside is noisy from the talking and bright from the lights. That's why I love the outdoor seating. Even if you think it's too hot outside, the fans cool you down so just do it! I love getting the chicken tender combos. The chicken is juicy with a nice crunch. Ok this was the new restaurant of the week and hyped super bad with long ridicules lines so I got a spot in line at 9:50 am before they opened to avoid the ridicules long line on my previous visit. I was like the 7th car in line at opening. I ordered the 3 pics finger combo that is actually 4 fingers with crinkle frys, Texas style toast and cane sauce. To my surprise at first opening the frys were not seasoned very well, not hot, soggy and fell over limp that needed the little blue pill. The Texas toast was fresh and soft but if it was a garlic bread style with some flavor it would be good. The sauce was ok but I don't do sauce's because I like to taste the food as is to form an opinion. The chicken fingers with out the sauce was bland as fu#k with a slight crunch and not hot either at first opening but the white meat was moist and tender. If the frys and chicken were seasoned better and fresher this might be ok. Overall this place is over hyped with bland boring food that at first opening for fried food and was on the soggy side and maybe if I went at full circus chaos in the long line it might have been fresher/hot and crispy but the blandness and lack of seasoning would still be there. read more

Raising Cane's in Greendale is the first Wisconsin location, so naturally there was a lot of buzz about it and they've been quite busy since they opened. Even with waiting a few days to stop by, the double drive-thru line spilled out of their parking lot, so I went inside to order. I got a three piece chicken finger combo that came with crinkle fries, Texas toast, Cane's sauce, and a drink. I've had Raising Cane's once before, so I was familiar with how good the Cane's sauce is. Needless to say, I used it on all of the fries and the chicken fingers. I don't know what's in it and can't accurately describe it, but man it's delicious. The rest of my items were all very good. The chicken fingers aren't huge, but have nice crunchy breading. The Texas toast is soft in the middle yet perfectly toasted on one side. I don't normally care for crinkle fries, but the ones from Raising Cane's are better than most. Even with being busy my food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. read more

(First person to comment). First time being to a Canes, the service was great. Service was pretty quick too once you actually get to the drive thru line on property. The line was about 1.5 hrs long from where I started. Chicken was pretty good. The Texas toast is good too. The sauce is really great and delicious, you need to order it with your food as it's needed. The chicken sandwich is not a patty, it's a sandwich with 3 chicken tenders. The lemonade is pretty delicious, it's said to be freshly squeezed and freshly made. The fries were technically good, but they came with a big handful of salt but still good after taking what I can off. The coleslaw was straight and a little on the bland side. Overall the food was pretty delicious and decent. I would recommend to come give it a try. read more

Waited over 20 minutes in line. Order was wrong when we got home. Cars were leaving the line exhausted from waiting.

In short- Good, but not great. I knew going in that there was a limited menu. Chicken tenders, or chicken tenders on a bun. Unfortunately, the chicken doesn't have much flavor at all. I didn't even detect salt and pepper. All the flavor is in the sauce, and while the sauce is good, it's not great. There wasn't anything about my meal that made me want to come back. I probably will at some point but there are so many other options in the area that I'd rather go to. With that said, we had ordered online for pickup because the drive thru lines were crazy for weeks. Everything was ready on time and piping hot. The chicken was juicy, not dry. The fries were cooked well, and it was all still warm after driving home. The employees were friendly and the order was correct (always a good thing.) we didn't spend long inside, just enough to fill drinks, but it was really clean and bright. The dining room didn't look too large, but there is outdoor seating for nicer weather. Fans of the franchise will be happy I'm sure. And it's great to have another spot for a quick bite. Now that the line has become more manageable, we decided to get some food from the drive-thru today! We both ordered box combos. I was really impressed by how efficient the drive-thru was! Employees were friendly and trained so well! Food stayed hot on the drive home. I thought the chicken, sauce, coleslaw, bread, and lemonade were great! The fries were so-so but not bad by any means! $23 for 2 meals. I wouldn't go often, but another great fast-food joint to add to the rotation! My review - we arrived at Raising Cane's on August 3. It was pretty packed with me entered, but since I did a mobile order, it was really fast for me. I arrive 20 minutes later from my scheduled pick up for the food and it was still hot once I arrived at the park to eat. The food was still hot. The chicken tenders were good. The fries were pretty good. They could be more crispy and more salty in my opinion the raising Cane sauce was that she surprisingly pretty good as well. I would write this experience for myself and overall 7.5 out of 10. My friends- so I was a little nervous trying out raising Cave's. I wanted to try this since 2019 so when Milwaukee finally had a Raising Cane's location. I was so excited to finally try it so I got the box combo. The chicken tenders was good. The fries were good, but they could've done a little bit better overall adding to it, they could've made the fries crispy and a little bit more saltier. The toast is amazing. The sauce was amazing. My drink was watered down and I had a Fanta orange. Overall my experience was good and I will love to come back and try it again, my rating is a 7 out of 10. read more

My son and I got food poisoning from this place on 5/11/25. I am okay now but my 3 year old toddler is still sick. Beware of this place. The chicken must have been so foul to cause my child to get this sick. Improper food handling to say the least! Idk what type of nasty business is going on in this location. read more

It's a solid 4.5 stars. While there was a line, at lunchtime of course, it moved quickly and I received my order in less than 10 minutes after getting in line. The food is great. Chicken fingers are unbelievably juicy and tender. I visited a Raising Cane's in Biloxi MS a couple years ago and found this location to be consistent in quality overall. The only issue was I wished the garlic "toast" was more crunchy. But it still tasted good. read more

Nothing I am chomping at the bit for. The chicken fingers were cooked well. I feel like they could benefit from some seasoning or something. On their own they are kind of bland but that's ok because you are going to be dipping them in the Cane's sauce which is pretty good. Good to see another joint like this in WI. Once a table was accessible for my individuals of relation, and myself, we ambled our way through the bistro, and placed ourselves on the lush timber seating. As I pondered at the menu, I carefully selected the box combination. Along with that, I settled upon a juicy lemon flavored beverage, with perfectly shaped and curated ice pebbles. I was one of the crazy people in line to try this place. I went through the drive thru it took some time because so many people were there. So they only have Chicken fingers as they call them even 1 sandwich is with the chicken fingers. They have crinkle cut fries which im happy weren't salty garlic toast and coleslaw for side choices. So I got a 3 piece chicken fingers combo includes fries and garlic bread and drink for $10. Everything was at a decent temperature considering going through a long line drive thru, although it seemed a little boring in flavor I wish they would have done some kind of seasonings for chicken and fries. Everything was ok don't get me wrong just need to kick up flavor. Chicken was a little small but juicy and hot, some parts were crunchy while other parts a little wet so consistency in texture with more crisp coating would have been better.
