The Greenfield location for Mountain Mike's Pizza is the first in the Midwest (the closest locations previously were in Texas and Colorado). Continued expansion may be inevitable, so I figured I'd give their food a try see where it stacks up against other chain pizza stores. For Pi Day (March 14th) they had a special of a 6" mini pizza for free with the purchase of a 20oz soda. I got extra cheese and linguisa (a type of sausage) on the pizza. I also ordered six garlic not-knots for an appetizer. The garlic not-knots were very good. I didn't read the item description before ordering since I assumed they were just garlicky dough, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had cheese on/in them and a little crunch from the baked cheese. The pizza was ok. The linguista didn't stand out like I hoped it would and the amount of cheese on the pizza is what I would have expected it normally have, so I don't know if they added extra or not. That said, I'd rather have their pizza than Domino's, Pizza Hut, Toppers, or Little Caesars. Papa John's is still my preferred chain pizza store though. Two things that may hurt this Mountain Mike's chances of succeeding: price and location. Their pizzas are pretty expensive (for example, a 14" cheese pizza is $25). I definitely recommend signing up for their rewards to get discounts rather than paying full price. As for location, this particular strip mall is always packed, making parking very difficult. Being in a busy area not far from Southridge Mall is fine if you want a lot of potential customers, but that location might be a turn off once people try to visit. read more

Just tried Mountain Mike's for the first time tonight and it's a solid new pizza joint! We picked up our food so got to look around. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly, and the pizza was good. The salad bar looked very fresh. Prices are a little steep, but most things are these days. Minus 1 star because the wings were just ok. Lots of parking in the strip mall parking lot. Pepperoni was a stand-out. We will return! read more

The pizza was OK but the prices are outrageous. There are way better options if you stay local/family owned for literally half the price.

This location is new and has only been here a couple months. We have been here 3 times total and only had 1 issue which happened the 2nd time we went- they put onions on my pizza even though we had asked for no onions on it. We didn't check the pizza before taking it home and when we got home we noticed the onions. I called them and they fixed the issue right away. They make everything fresh so there's definitely a wait for your food but you can easily pass the time watching the TV's or playing in the arcade. The one downside is that they are a bit more expensive than your usual pizza place but tastes better! read more

Drove from Chicago to have a taste from home. Got the mountain sized Everest and it tasted just as we remembered. Yes the price is higher than other chains but the quality is so much better. 10/10 recommend and would come back! Service was also great. I've seen this new pizza place in the neighborhood and was immediately curious. We finally went and were pleasantly surprised. Their pizzas are fairly unique and tasty. I love they offer a decent variety of beers on tap. The employees were really helpful and friendly, making our time there relaxing. And my ADHD brain was stimulated by the many TVs, many of which has sports on. But there was news, too. Prices were a bit high, but everything was tasty enough to justify the cost. Overall, the food and experience were pleasant enough to warrant coming back to eat our way through the menu. Next up might just be the all you can eat salad bar lunch for $10. read more

We loved the pizza. It's has a crispy thick crust sort of like Pizza Huts original crust (but a little better.) I also loved the salad bar. I miss those even though some people may think they are unsanitary. This salad bar has plexiglass between your face and the food. The restaurant is clean with large TV's and a game room. My family is originally from the East Coast. We absolutely loved mountain Mike's back home. We have been waiting several months for this to open and made the 45 minute drive. They are known for Fresh dough, fresh ingredients and great mozzarella cheese. My only concern was it might not taste the same. OMG, it was worth the drive. They killed it. 10/10, tastes exactly the same as back home. It's worth the couple extra dollars for the fresh cut ingredients and the 100% mozzarella cheese. The pizza is amazing! I used to eat Mtn Mike's when I lived in Northern California prior to relocating to MKE in 2020. All I can say is that the pizza - the flavor, texture, aesthetic and all - is exactly as I remember. Exceptional! The staff at Greenfield is very kind and professional. The place is huge! This is a newer restaurant. I'm surprised they opened another pizza restaurant when Toppers is right across the street. This is a very family friendly place. I like that they have a few fun arcade games you can play while you wait for your food. The restaurant is very big with plenty of seating. It is also very clean. There was a guy mopping the floors as we came in for dinner. The staff here is so friendly and kind, which made for a pleasant experience. One came up to us to show us the joke of the day, which was nice. We placed our order for garlic sticks and a medium pizza. They also have a salad bar for an additional cost. I don't see many of those anymore, so it was pretty neat that they had one. I got a fountain drink and opted for the Tropicana lemonade, but it tasted more like Mountain Dew. When our orders came, it was nice and hot. The sticks and pizza were good but I am not sure if it justified the cost of a twenty plus dollar pizza. Perhaps next time I will order a different flavor pizza. I will still come back just for the friendliness of the staff. Next time I would like to try their lunch buffet. Had the buffet a few weeks ago, $14.99. Pizzas tasted like frozen pizzas. No flavor and not much of a variety. There were no garlic knots as advertised. Cheesy pizza cut into bread sticks were so-so. Salad bar was good. Overall, looking at the expensive prices for individual pizzas, I'm glad I did the buffet. I won't waste my time and money here. read more

Ordered online and I'm 100% positive I Ordered a large pepperoni pizza. Completed the order and when it was delivered it was a veggie pizza. I called and I was told that I had to order a new pizza but they did give me a $1 off plus I had to pay for delivery charge. So a 35 dollar pizza down the drain and the store could have cared less that their online ordering wasn't working correctly. Never again will I order from Mountain Mike's again and I think they could care less anyway read more
