Best pizza ever. We are from out of town and we're craving pizza. Not many options around but we decided to try Sal's. Delicious with every bite!

Overall Sal's pizza is pretty good (maybe a bit too much sauce for my liking) but the toppings were fresh and proportioned well. We ordered the breaded veggie combo for an appetizer. I should know better to order fried foods like this for delivery as the mushrooms, zucchini and cauliflower were mushy and no longer crisp. Ordering online was super easy and our food came right on time.

This is the stuffed pizza we received- no sauce!

We ordered a large par-baked stuffed pizza and what we received was a pizza without sauce, you read that correctly, no sauce. In addition, we didn't received no instructions on how to finish baking it. Contacted the owner and explained what happened. He apologized and said we should have received sauce and baking instructions. To correct this he gave us a $12 credit to be used the next time we order. Mind you the inedible pizza we received was almost $30. What we felt he should have done was at a minimum given us a correctly made pizza equal to what we ordered. We have always enjoyed their food in the past and have even recommended them to others but now we not sure we can do that. In fact, not sure if we will ever go back. Please consider this experience when you are deciding on a restaurant in Waukesha.

This was today's restaurant to support so I stopped by for lunch. It's takeout or delivery still so I called my order in. The place is in a strip mall with plenty of parking and small with 10 tables that was off limits. I looked at the menu and I saw a garlic bread appetizer and a cheesy beef so I was going to combine the two and build my sandwich. I ordered the house beef with cheese on garlic bread with hot peppers which was ready in 15 minutes. The package was pretty hefty as I left I thought so I couldn't wait to open it. When I opened up the container the sandwich comes with a huge pile of crinkle frys and the beef sandwich looked amazing with plenty of melted cheese. The cheesy beef on garlic bread was really good with plenty of melted mozzarella and nice tender Italian beef that was moist but not dipped. I'm very picky about frys and I don't like most frys, especially crinkle cut frys. The frys were the thin crinkle cut and just ok that needed salt.

Great pizza! We had them bring pizza as our late night snack for our wedding. They turned out great and were a big hit!

This pizza is definitely one of the best around the area. When you ask for double cheese, you actually get double cheese.

Taco Jalisco - Elote (to go)

Taco Jalisco

Love this place, never go more than 2 weeks before we circle back and order again. It's fantastic!…read more The food is delicious. Period. They have the best Tripe tacos I've ever had. Followed by the Lengua tacos. WOW. Of course you have to try the Quesabirria Tacos w/consume. Dynamite! My wife always gets the chicken enchilada in salsa roja, my daughter a quesadilla (she boring). Jalisco has the BEST sides of rice and beans I've ever had in a Mexican establishment, great flavors and respect for the ingredients and cooking process so everything shines through. They have Elote too, not quite the traditional way but damn I can't stop eating it! I've tried almost the whole menu; the lomo en salsa de arbol, carne asada, chile rellenos, bistec à la mexicana, gorditas w/carnitas & chorizo. I could eat here everyday! It's a cute little place with great service. Recently I caught some World Cup action while we waited. Different beers and sodas (Modelo, Jarritos) are available, as well as fresh guacamole and pico de gallo. They make a spicy taco salsa that's the right amount of heat and flavor. Give the a try, you won't regret it! Never errored an order of mine either, very consistent - and affordable! Like wow!

We walked in for the first time while in the area…read more It wasn't late, and the place was practically empty. The layout of the place is peculiar, and it didn't help that somebody left a broom and the garbage in the middle of room. This "paisana" and her husband were standing in the front and the attendant walked by and never even turned around to help us. She never came back. The cook was also standing there, too; with his phone, just a few steps away from us. The whole things was weird and gave us the goosebumps. I wouldn't even try to go back.

I love any Mexican restaurant that serves 2 salsas when you sit down…read more Great margaritas I had one. I think it had orange or something in it. It's a house special really good. The case of Bonito is great and they do kind of a meat with it. I'm not good at describing but really just a new different way of doing queso and delicious with the combination and it was fantastic. Like I said the salsa is great so that is everything really to me and a Mexican restaurant.

I have to couch that I come from an area with heavy population from Latin American countries,…read moreincluding pockets of first-generation Mexicans, so my bar may be higher than Wisconsin in general for what is good Mexican food. So let's start with service. Greeted when I walked in, saw my friend and walked right over. Server visited frequently during the night to make sure we were well attended, provided a box for my friend's daughter. I saw a happy birthday celebration at another table. With that, we can call the ambiance festive. It's an old train station, but doesn't really carry that vibe. The main thing is that results in an unusual layout. Not a big deal. Parking, though, is a festival unto itself. I parked in the first lot I saw, a tiny, poorly maintained lot in the back of the place that really doesn't seem fit for the public. But they seem to allow it. There are other signed lots that seem too crowded, also poorly maintained and striped. There's the street, with parking full on both sides. Clearly people love this place enough to take up the whole block, but I don't think Estacion quite got the response. And now, the food. The menu reads like a diner - page after page, similar headings with different features. Took me a long time to figure out what I wanted and confirm that I'd seen everything. I went with Combinacion Azteca. * Stuffed poblano was very bland, both in cheese and spice level. * Pork tamal was okay but mostly tamal. * Steak was very flavorful but not "a steak", rather pieces of steak that were dumped on top of the other food. I cleared them off to the side so I could pair them with the rice and beans. Rice was good, beans were good, nothing outstanding there. So I'd say: 5 stars for service, 4 stars for ambiance, 3 stars for food, 2 stars for parking. Hey, it's what the kid wanted.

Underwhelming. We…read morewere hopeful with some of the recent reviews, but this was just not a good visit. We walked in and a few tables were taken so we were hoping that was a good sign. There was music playing but a soccer match playing in the bar was plenty loud in the dining room and drown out the background music. The small house margarita starts at $8.50 and we both got one to see how they were. The size was larger than I thought it'd be at least. We also got a small basket of chips and a small cup of salsa. Not great but we still ate them because we were starving. We ordered tacos and they came out within about 5 minutes. The plates were cold, as well as the rice, and the beans were lukewarm. The tacos were hot at least. The barbacoa tacos ($16.99) were dry and didn't come with lime wedges, extra salsa, nothing. They were so dry that the single corn tortillas split pretty quickly. The pastor tacos ($16.49) weren't bad but no pineapple to be seen. The portions were okay but the food was not worth the price we paid. The weirdest part was when we got our check. None of the prices matched the menu and they also charged more for using a card. Don't appreciate the inaccurate prices and didn't see anything on the menu about being charged differently than what was posted. Our server seemed nice but it wasn't enough to make up for the weird space, lukewarm food, and overall disappointing experience. Will not go back.
