This was my first time trying Milwaukee Classic Pizza... and I definitely would go back. The pizza arrived in perfect condition and the delivery person was very polite. The pizza tasted great and looked great. The garlic bread was wonderful and very filling. The cheese curds were good. I could not be happier to be in close proximity to this pizza place. The pizza is always hot and fresh and tasty. The pizzas are huge and fairly priced. ***The Milwaukee Classic, the Artichoke, and the Margherita are the three best pizzas in their menu and all the saladas are good. Ordering carry out is a pleasure. The woman who usually takes the calls and works the window is so genuinely friendly and makes it a great experience. If you order carry out, it's usually around a 20-minute wait and delivery is usually to your door in under a half hour. My one small complaint is the pizzas are slightly heavy on the cheese, but that's a personal preference. **Great news! If you love a good Milwaukee style cracker crust pizza you must try theirs! It's soooo good! Crispy, crunchy and flavorful! They also offer a gluten free pizza crust too. A few times when I've asked for adjustments or substitutions they've been more than happy to accommodate. I also really like their hamburgers; they offer a really affordable sandwich deal that includes fries and a soft drink. Delivery and take out is available. All of the toppings were dumped in the middle of the pie which contributed to the sogginess and the edges were naked except for the cheese. Accidentally came actually this pizza place late at night looking for somewhere that would deliver. Was amazed at how good it was and that we had never had it before. They offer unique toppings and specialty pizzas as well as all the ususal. The crust is good and crispy and delicious ingredients. We've also had a couple of their salads - also great. I was still craving a cheesy sandwich on toasted garlic bread after the last place was a let down. Pizza places usually have garlic bread and sandwich's on the menu so I like to combine the two because garlic bread takes a sandwich to the next level. I have driven past this place many times and even had breakfast next door but I never stopped until today. The place is small with one table and extra seating on the walls to wait for your food so it's basically take out or delivery. The sandwich menu is small but a chicken Parmesan on garlic bread sounded good. I ask the lady if I can get toasted garlic bread and she says yes so I ask if I can pay extra for the chicken Parmesan on garlic bread and she says you don't have to pay any extra if that's the way you want it made, cool. You can hear the fryer come to life so the chicken is cooked order and took about 10 minutes. The sandwich looked good with melty Mozzarella cheese oozing out of it mixed with the red sauce. The chicken looked like chicken tenders which is ok and was white meat. The garlic bread was nicely toasted with a big rich garlic flavor. The sandwich was delicious with that nice salty flavor from the grated Parmesan which reminded me of the Kraft store brand. I was looking for a pizza place that was open on a Monday and MKE Classic Pizza fit the bill. I had the pizza once a year or so ago and really did like it so I knew I needed to go back there. I ordered the Artichoke pizza with extra garlic sauce and extra crispy. The toppings were ample and the crust was perfectly crisp. For $22 you get a HUGE pizza so the value is definitely there. Many good pizza places are really expensive so this was nice to have good food at a very reasonable price. The menu is extensive but it will be difficult for me to try something other than their pizza. I did carryout so I don't know how good their delivery will be - with all of the personnel shortages I probably will stick to carryout or know that it might be a longer wait than normal. read more

We ended up reheating it. The pizza was also not warm. The pizza just seemed off to us. The pizzas were put together a tad bit sloppy. I ordered with anchovies on mine and since they're salty, should be spreaded out so that you're not eating a gollop of salted anchovies in a bite. I ordered a pepperoni online and although they had not started on my order when I went to pick it up (30 mins later) the guy at the counter promised it in 10 mins. A very short wait later (maybe 8 minutes!) the pizza was ready and so delicious! They definitely don't cheat on the pepperoni, it wasn't greasy and the sauce was just right. They have a $19.99 special thats large pizza with 2 toppings (we do beef pepperoni and mushroom) + garlic bread with marinara sauce (similar.to how my mom used to make in the oven on some French loaf) + a 2 liter Easy pick up or delivery. If you do.delivery, recommend calling them directly over an app to use their coupons and get cheaper delivery fee (give those fees in an increased tip to your delivery driver!). Ordered two pizzas after a long day of traveling and delays. Tired and hungry after ordering at 10:45pm that delivery was between 12:30-12:45am. Not happy I called to cancel. I found that the pizzas were on their way for delivery. Our pizzas arrived a few minutes later and it was hot and fresh. The pizzas were delicious, the salad fresh, as was the calamari. $18.00 Pizza Not Worth It. Get Soy Cheese, Please! We ordered the Primo Veggie Pizza because on our app it said they offer vegan options. We asked for soy cheese, but they said they didn't have any. So we ordered it with no cheese at all and they got it right! Usually, pizza places automatically dump cheese on everything, so we're always happy to find a place that actually follows directions and we don't have to send the pizza back. Unfortunately, we should have added our own vegan cheese because this pizza really needed it. The ingredients were fresh, and the amount of basil was terrific, but the sauce was bland. Overall, we both had to say it was a bland pizza, could have used more seasonings, and definitely vegan cheese. Also, it was a very large pizza, but at $18.00, it wasn't worth it. We want to go back and give this place another shot because it's in our neighborhood and we want to support local businesses, but we'll wait and read other reviews and see if they improve the flavor and get some soy cheese in. read more

I don't live in Milwaukee so I can't compare to other local pizza places and have only had pizza from three other places (during the times I visited and none were any good). I live in DC and eat pizza a lot there and in NYC. Not to brag but I know good pizza. The thin crust here is just about perfect and the sauce has great flavor. It's seasoned well (not bland) or too sweet. The choice of toppings and their freshness are spot on. It's definitely the best pizza I've had in Milwaukee and one of the best I've had. It's a solid four and a half. It's tough to get a five from me unless it's authentic NY pizza. read more

I came across MKE classic and thought "maybe this will be our new *spot*!" Good prices, pictures looks nice, and good reviews! Let's try it out! We ordered a large pizza and garlic bread. Upon arrival, the delivery handed me one pizza box and turned to leave. I stopped him and reminded him that we had ordered garlic bread, to which he replied "No you didn't." ........yeah. We did. He looked back at the receipt, smacked his forehead, and said he would bring it right back. A while passes and I called to check on the status. The girl who answered was not apologetic about the mistake and didn't seem to care at all. She said he still had other deliveries to make and wasn't even back to pick up the bread yet. Disappointed and increasingly hungry, I asked if there was any way they could just give me a refund for the bread. She told me there was "nothing she could do" (And again, didn't apologize.) I declined her offer to "save it for next time" because there was a flyer with coupons on the pizza box that said "free garlic bread with purchase" so I wouldn't have benefited from a credit. SO I just proceeded with having the driver come back. He arrived way later (after we had already finished eating) with the soggy and burnt garlic bread -- that was definitely not worth the wait or the initial purchase of it. All in all... if we just ordered ONLY the pizza, I would be a return customer. Sometimes delivery people forget things and I understand that. Nobody's perfect and an honest mistake wouldn't prevent me from returning. But how the mistake was handled and in no way rectified, AND because the quality of the product that we waited for was extremely underwhelming when it arrived... There's pizza and there's delivery pizza. The latter category is tough on the near South Side. My favorite neighborhood pizza place, Fixture, does serve up a better quality product but they can't be fairly considered because they use Uber delivery and it's more often not available than it is. MCP arrived quickly and hot, faster than the ETA (be ready) on a Sunday football evening. The driver was not stoned and able to find my address without any help (well maybe he used Google maps unlike the the marijuana addled competitors' delivery drivers) and was even polite. This place has never been disrespectful and insulting like Transfer, so it starts out up at the top of my delivery pizza list. It's a New York style thin crust so you can fold it and eat it (I am from Chicago so I don't) and they offer the anchovies option. The least ordered pizza topping ( ordered on less than 1% of all pizzas in America), anchovies were actually a more common topping on actual Italian pizzas than cheese according to an immigration historian I once shared pizza with. I once stayed too long in a relationship that was otherwise not working because she also liked anchovies on her pizzas. The one drawback is that my cats shift from being respectful of me as their human master to seeing me more like competition in some household ecological niche when the aroma of pizza anchovies is delivered. MCP seemed a little pricey but actually their delivery charge is a little lower and their pizza ingredients are generous so I think it's worth it. read more
