It's an excellent take on an old favorite. We started with the Meatballs, which normally wouldn't have been my first choice, but one of our group is a huge meatball fan. They were excellent. The sauce was flavorful without being too thick, and they were served with little pieces of golden-fried bread that added wonderful texture and flavor. We all ended up ordering seafood entrées. I chose the special, Salmon en Croûte. It's similar to a Salmon Wellington, with spinach wrapped inside the pastry. It was outstanding. The salmon was moist, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The cream sauce paired beautifully with the salmon and spinach, and the puff pastry was baked all the way through, remaining crisp rather than soggy. To top it off, the accompanying roasted vegetable medley was perfectly roasted and full of flavor. Altogether, it was an exceptional dish. Service: The service was friendly and personable, with just the right amount of attention. We never felt like we had to watch for our server. They checked on us regularly and made sure our drinks were always topped off. With its consistently high quality, Relish is becoming one of our favorite go-to restaurants.

I got the chicken dumpling soup and that only had one piece of chicken and one dumpling. Very bland. For my meal I had the salmon which sounded amazing on the menu, but I was so disappointed. The mushroom/spinach combo was soo salty that it was inedible, the salmon was also incredibly salty with no other flavor at all. I ate about half and gave up. The risotto is another thing I looked forward to and it was also flavorless. Others in my group had the halibut, crab cakes, beef pasta, and a salad. It seemed like all meals lacked overall flavor and interest. Our very sweet waitress did kindly bring my nephew a chocolate cake slice to celebrate his birthday which was unexpected and generous, Based on all the other reviews, I hope that we just got an off night. We were in the general area-ish doing some shopping and wanted to get some pizza for takeout some place closeby to enjoy at home while watching the Olympics (because it's in Italy--so pizza seemed like just the thing). A search on Yelp brought up this place as somewhat closeby. It was after dark when we went in search of it. We drove down a rural road past what appeared to be a driveway that led to a farm. This can't be it. We tried again. Navigation brought us to the same driveway. My husband was ready to give up. I decided to call the business. A kindly gentleman answered and said--yep! It will look like you're driving to a farm but we're here! As we got closer to the end of the drive we saw a bustling parking area. While it might be hard to find--the people have found it. And, so did we. We entered to find beer hall vibes with tons of communal seating. We asked if we could order to go which they were more than willing to accommodate. We found a couple bar stools at their bar, ordered our salads and pizza, and then enjoyed a couple of stout beers while we waited. The beers, salad, and the pizza straight from their wood fired pizza oven were all fantastic. We got one of their specialty pizzas which was a white pie that comes with ricotta (as well as mozz) mushrooms, and basil on a crust that has just the right amount of chewiness and char. Lovely! The folks working here were above-and-beyond friendly. And, one told us that they have a large outdoor patio during pleasant months. We will definitely be back during the pleasant months. We ended up with the spring pizza, sassy pig, a plain cheese, and then a three combo of sausages. I thought the pizza was all good, not the best I've ever had but solid. The spring pizza was my favorite. The sassy pig was very unique but good! Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the sausages but others in my group liked them. We upgraded that to include fries and there was only a very small amount. We will definitely be back, seems like a great spot for groups!

They were just fried potato with no other flavor or add-in like onions. I added salt and pepper because they needed it. I got American cheese on the scrambled eggs and they were as you'd expect. The star of our visit was the coffee cake. It was warm and soft and in every sense perfect. The breading was mushy and extremely greasy, and the cheese itself tasted low quality rather than the fresh curds you'd expect at a Wisconsin pub. We also ordered several wing flavors since they were on special: garlic parm, buffalo, bourbon BBQ, and lemon pepper. One issue right away was the lack of flavor variety overall on the menu. The wings themselves were inconsistent. Sizes varied dramatically, which clearly affected the cook quality. Some were fried so hard they were like chewing leather, while others had soggy, undercooked skin. Flavor wise the buffalo were almost completely flavorless. The lemon pepper was extremely mild. The garlic parm was probably the best of the group, though still just average. The bourbon BBQ was rough. The sauce tasted like an overly sweet, overly salty cheap jarred glaze rather than an actual house-made BBQ sauce. My wife ordered the Mary Mac burger without a bun and was told extra lettuce leaves could be substituted to make it a lettuce wrap. Instead, it came out with just shredded lettuce. The burger itself was overcooked and lacking flavor. The fries were decent enough, but nothing memorable. Overall, this felt like a place with potential that just missed the mark on both execution and consistency during our visit.

Thin crumb breading that had some type of seasoning. I choose fries, coleslaw, and rye toast. The fries and toast were the best parts. I wanted tartar sauce for my fish but it was so sweet that it wasn't good with the fish. Service was fine. She needed to leave before us and asked if we wanted to close our ticket.
