    "New York Style" Pepperoni Pizza

Let me preface this by saying that I love the atmosphere, the service was amazing and the owner was so incredibly nice and welcoming. I also absolutely loved their homemade meatball and the garlic bread was pretty solid too. Now onto the pizza, for being a pizzeria the pizza was really a let down. The crust was very clearly store bought (which they said was true). But the pizza just didn't have a lot of flavor and the crust was super hard. I'd give the pizza a 4.5/10. I would possibly come back in the future to try their garlic bread pizza or meatball sub just because both of those are made in house and were pretty good on their own. I just will never order the pizza again

Jalapeño poppers at an Italian place? You bet. Garlic bread pizza appetizers. Eggplant appetizers kind tasted like whatever was cooked in the oil prior to. Salad was sizable to share and the chicken Parm was delicious too

What a bargin! Wednesday night special includes a pitcher, garlic bread and a large pizza . The garlic bread was soft and crispy and buttery and garlicky, hand tossed crust was perfect, great sauce and lots of cheese . Friendly staff, cozy dining room with a fun bar.

I've been looking forward to trying Brama's Pizzeria since I found out they were coming to Germantown last year. I waited until after their opening week due to how crazy busy they were per social media. My family ordered a 16" hand tossed crust half cheese/half pepperoni pizza with traditional sauce, a 16" thin crust half sausage/half meatball pizza with sweet sauce, wonton mozzarella sticks, and garlic bread. The garlic bread was good. Very comparable to Mama Mia's in that it was large chunks of bread soaked in garlic and butter. I don't think theirs was as salty as Mama Mia's, which could be good or bad depending on what you prefer. Of the two, I liked Brama's more. The mozzarella sticks were bland. I do appreciate that they were obviously hand rolled and not store bought, but if you're going to bake them and not fry them, at least dress them up a bit with garlic butter before baking or sprinkle parmesan or Italian seasoning on top afterwards. I feel you lose a bit of flavor when you skip the deep fryer. I primarily ate the thin crust half sausage/half meatball, but I tried a slice of the hand tossed cheese as well just to be able to compared the two crusts and two sauces. Of the two sauces, I vastly preferred the sweet sauce. I thought the traditional sauce had an odd taste to it and the sweet sauce was more traditional than sweet. Ironically, the hand tossed crust was pretty thin other than the outer edge that wasn't covered with cheese and toppings. I thought the thin crust was better due to the crispiness of the outer edge and the toppings seemed to stretch further towards the edge. I liked the sausage, but the meatball was my favorite of the two. They were moist and had excellent flavor that weren't masked by the cheese, sauce, or crust. The pizza was straight out of the oven when they handed it to me, so it didn't have time to settle and congeal. A large portion of the cheese on the half cheese/half pepperoni pizza slid off the pizza at some point between when they boxed it up and when I got home. It wasn't hard to scoop it back onto the pizza, but it didn't make it look all that appealing. My wife didn't necessarily love it, but I thought the pizza from Brama's is a fine addition to Germantown. There are a couple of other places within reasonable driving distance that I'd prefer to get pizza from, but I'd also be willing to get Brama's again.

First time here and it was amazing. The server was very kind and attentive, he was a young man with long hair. The food was awesome. I got spaghetti with their meat sauce and added meatballs. The mat chunks in the meat sauce are pretty big so I didn't really need to get the meat balls but they were delicious anyways. My boyfriend got the Brama 's Special Pizza on thin crust and he really liked it. The ambiance was definitely Italian, the tablecloths are checkered, the music is like Italian dinner music, and they serve beer and wine for alcoholic drinks.

We were in the general area-ish doing some shopping and wanted to get some pizza for takeout some place closeby to enjoy at home while watching the Olympics (because it's in Italy--so pizza seemed like just the thing). A search on Yelp brought up this place as somewhat closeby. It was after dark when we went in search of it. We drove down a rural road past what appeared to be a driveway that led to a farm. This can't be it. We tried again. Navigation brought us to the same driveway. My husband was ready to give up. I decided to call the business. A kindly gentleman answered and said--yep! It will look like you're driving to a farm but we're here! As we got closer to the end of the drive we saw a bustling parking area. While it might be hard to find--the people have found it. And, so did we. We entered to find beer hall vibes with tons of communal seating. We asked if we could order to go which they were more than willing to accommodate. We found a couple bar stools at their bar, ordered our salads and pizza, and then enjoyed a couple of stout beers while we waited. The beers, salad, and the pizza straight from their wood fired pizza oven were all fantastic. We got one of their specialty pizzas which was a white pie that comes with ricotta (as well as mozz) mushrooms, and basil on a crust that has just the right amount of chewiness and char. Lovely! The folks working here were above-and-beyond friendly. And, one told us that they have a large outdoor patio during pleasant months. We will definitely be back during the pleasant months. And, let's be real--during the less than pleasant months as well. Get to it!

Upon driving in there is a building for the restaurant along with nice outdoor seating, and area for kids to play! We went in mid May on a sunny but cool evening. The kids loved having the sand area and toys to play with while waiting for dinner to arrive. They have a good menu, but there seemed to be a decent amount of items unavailable especially the sausages my friends wanted to try. We ended up with the spring pizza, sassy pig, a plain cheese, and then a three combo of sausages. I thought the pizza was all good, not the best I've ever had but solid. The spring pizza was my favorite. The sassy pig was very unique but good! Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the sausages but others in my group liked them. We upgraded that to include fries and there was only a very small amount. We will definitely be back, seems like a great spot for groups!

We entered on an early Friday evening and the place was already quite packed. I was somewhat surprised at how small the bar and dining room actually were, but the somewhat eclectic décor made the place feel warm and cozy, even though we were not seated by the fireplace table. Our server, Jane, was nice enough and the service was fairly good, but despite seeing a table next to ours getting a birthday song serenade, nothing was ever said about my groups occasions. Even at the end, when my mom ordered a to-go dessert and I commented on it being a birthday treat, it was never acknowledged. I find that odd and a little irritating. The eggplant sticks appetizer was good, as was the bread and whipped butter. My cod dinner was adequate, with the star being the potato pancake. Mom's Ditka chop was good, but the other two were mixed in their opinions about the Sausage Pepper Vodka Penne. I left the place feeling fairly underwhelmed, I'm afraid. Meh.
