Just let that go. Wasn't meant to be. Ordered a large Momma's pizza. Thin and crispy party. Lots of toppings in center. Feel like it could've used some more cheese as the edges hardly had any toppings. Crust was slightly burnt on the very edge but not to the point of bitterness. Also ordered a grilled Caesar wrap. It was a bit small but full of lettuce and chicken. All the shaved cheese was off to one side and the chicken in the middle. Feels like it should've been tossed together before it was put inside the tortilla. The dressing wasn't the best. Next time I will ask for ranch instead. Also, it's nice to have the tortilla warmed briefly but I failed to ask. Most places do it automatically or they grill it. The baked potato was fluffy and good but a bit orange in spots. Probably had been sitting in a slow cooker beating for awhile. Overall not bad. Prices are middle of the road. Will try them again.

Our server, Melissa, was a star (though I did notice the entire darn team hustles non stop--kudos to all). We started with the Jalapeño Popper Stuffed Mushrooms. Sooo good! Burgers are always awesome at the other locations so we had to get at least one here -- it was delicious. The other sandwich we ordered was a special called, The Bistro. It was fantastic. Prime Rib, thinly sliced, mozzarella, crispy onion ring/shreds with a chipotle mayo and au jus. Kiss the chef. I don't know how often it's on the menu but it should have a permanent place. Note: they do have a Prime Rib sammy on the menu all of the time so I'm sure it can be made any day but I would not have thought to put it together. Great stop. Great service. Great food.

Decent size parking lot available for diners! This spot is a bit rurally located, but a treasure in the rough. The interior is uniquely Wisconsin, blending dive bar with supper club to create an approachable, laid back atmosphere. The bartender was friendly and conversational, yet kept his distance when not needed! The Old Fashioned menu was large, with unique spins on the classic Brandy-forward drink in this neck of the woods! I went with the Haunted Brothel, which had a lovely nuance of chamomile tea and ginger beer to give it a distinct taste! I'd absolutely go back to try another one of the many offerings on the menu!

They have a robust old fashioned menu--all made the Wisconsin style. We ordered the barrel aged old fashioned and asked if it could be made in the classic style (and specified without soda). Our server said, 'of course!' Annnnnd--then we got our drinks and they were both Wisconsin style. Not a huge deal and we did enjoy but a word of warning to those who favor a classic old fashioned with no wash--might have a hard time with that here. For our second cocktail, we got Manhattans which were better! For an appetizer, we were waffling between the spinach artichoke dip and the brussels sprouts. Our server recommended the spinach artichoke dip so we went with that. The dip was flavorful and the tortilla chips are house made. It was good! For my main, I got their eggplant parm, which was ample, saucy, and served on a bed of pasta. I definitely couldn't eat it all in one sitting. It was delicious. Our server was attentive and the prices are reasonable. Get to it!

We scheduled a tee time and showed up early to warm up. The check in was easy, and the employees were great. They even let us tee off a little early since we were ready. We were never rushed by groups from behind, or slowed by groups ahead. And this is a course that can be enjoyed by any skill level of golfer. Came here with my brother for breakfast. Food: I'm not very traditional when it comes to breakfast, so I like a menu that has a few interesting items. I found several great choices on this menu and decided on the Avocado Morning Benedict. I find that hollandaise sauce can sometimes be a bit overwhelming, so I asked for it on the side. It didn't take long for the food to arrive. Everything was hot, the portions were generous, and the food was nicely seasoned. The eggs were cooked over easy, with the yolks still runny. The avocado and spinach were fresh and served on a toasted English muffin that was nicely buttered. It was an excellent choice. The accompanying American fries got an upgrade with cheese and fried onions. Absolutely delicious! This will probably be my go-to breakfast when I return. Service: We got there right when they opened at 7 a.m. There were already a few other tables seated when we arrived. The service was super friendly and efficient. We quickly got our water, coffee and tea, along with the menus. We needed some time with the menu, along with some necessary small talk, and our server checked back a couple of times without ever making us feel rushed. It was a very relaxed meal. Atmosphere: With the log exterior and large front porch, my first thought was Cracker Barrel. The inside, however, feels a bit more upscale than CB. The interior is nicely furnished, with plenty of booths and tables. There are also tables outside on the porch if you'd rather sit outdoors. The overall design has a country feel and makes for a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a place I'd return to.

Let me be very clear -- I come here for the BLOODIES! Not saying their food isn't good just that my…read moredrive from Milw. is based solely on the desire to order their delicious bloodies! With that said, if you're looking for a tasty bloody mary and are in the area or looking for a 'hidden gem' off the beaten path, head on over to Jimmy's in Jackson, WI! Their specialty bloody marys are available on Saturdays and Sundays and feature the Greek God as well as the Cheesehead. If you're looking for a tasty meal and bloody all in one then both of these will certainly satisfy! What are these two specialty bloodies you speak of? Well, the Cheesehead comes with all their regular fixings (lemon wedge, cheese cube, celery, summer sausage, pickle, mushroom, etc.) but then also comes with cheese curds, string cheese whips, and a FULL GRILLED CHEESE! The Greek God comes with their regular bloody mary fixings (lemon wedge, pickle, celery, summer sausage, cheese cube, mushroom, etc), an entire GYRO complete with onion, Kalamata olive, feta cheese, gyro meat, pita bread, etc. with a side of tzaziki sauce! Lastly, you're probably wondering, how's the mix?! Well, IMO, the bloody is robust in flavor (this is what I look for) and, while you'll be asked if you'd like your bloody mild or spicy, keep in mind you can order somewhere in the middle (for this robust glass of deliciousness, I think a medium spice is just perfect). All in all, Jimmy's is a spot I'll gladly take a little weekend drive for a bloody mary craving! One more thing--how are they handling the COVID pandemic? Well, for starters--their outdoor patio has at least 3 hand sanitizing stations, all staff are in mask both when serving indoor and outdoor diners. I sat outside last weekend and we were able to watch the Packer game on a flat screen (yep, there's a TV on the patio) and they cranked the heat lamps on for us...felt like we were just at the Game! HaHA! Indoors, customers are required to wear their masks indoors unless seated at their tables and eating/drinking. Thanks, Jimmy's! The pandemic is no joke and our COVID numbers are way too high in this state so, cheers to you for trying to help do your part amidst such unforeseen times. Fellow Yelpers, tip 'em well!

Her meal was well worth the price. Next time I will order that instead. I know prices have increased and I understand that. I just want to be able to justify the cost with the quality etc. The German potato salad was very good as was the coleslaw. The clam chowder was tasty but my bowl didn't have many if any clam pieces. I called in an order to go for a four piece cod dinner with seasoned waffle fries and cheese curds as an appetizer. Unlike so many other restaurants that serve crappy cornmeal breaded cheese curds that don't get crunchy and retain too much grease, the cheese curds at Nuckleheadz are true breaded cheese curds that get perfectly crunchy. I wish every every restaurant would serve the right kind like Nuckleheadz does, but I guess that's one of the things that makes Nuckleheadz special. Speaking of special, I LOVE it when the breading on fish has herbs and/or spices mixed in. It just gives the fish a little something extra. The herbs that Nuckleheadz puts in the batter they use on their cod (maybe their other fish too, I'm not sure) are phenomenal. I'm not usually big on cod, but I'm big on their cod because of it. Seasoned waffle fries are the king of all fries so that was a no-brainer. The weekly specials they post on social media often intrigue me and the hangover hash appetizer sounds fantastic (tater tots covered with bacon, nacho cheese, shredded cheese, and fried eggs), so I look forward to ordering that the next time I dine-in on a day that isn't Friday and I can't wait to get the fish fry again on a Friday with the best cheese curds around.
