Our order consisted of two 16" pizzas, one with just cheese and the other half pepperoni, half sausage. The pizzas tasted fine. Neither remarkable or unremarkable. They use a ton of cheese, which I appreciate, though as you can see in the pictures I posted, the sausage and pepperoni may have been a tad skimped on. The crust was cracker like and the outer edges of it got nice and crispy, which is a big plus for me. As you can also see in the pictures, the pizzas were sloppy. The half pepperoni, half sausage ended up having sausage on only a 1/4 of it and the pepperoni was only on the outsides. In addition, the cheese on both pizzas stuck to the crappy paper they used below the crust, leaving paper stuck to the cheese on every piece we took out of the boxes. The meat was easy to adjust by sliding it around, but the paper was annoying and not worth the hassle again.

If this is a permanent change in style I wouldn't get them again. I really enjoyed the potato pancakes. They were clearly homemade and had some nice crispy edges. I appreciate that they came with both syrup and applesauce by default because I will always ask for syrup for my potato pancakes and having applesauce too is a bonus. I'd venture that most places that serve perch do it with beer batter. Having it breaded with cornmeal was certainly different. I don't think the breading accentuated the flavor of the perch like beer batter does and maybe even covered it up more than I would have liked, but I enjoyed the crispiness it achieved. The menu didn't specify lake perch or yellow perch, so I was expecting something cheaper like pike perch when it said the meal came with five pieces. Instead, it was yellow perch, which is fantastic, but I find it odd they give you two and a half butterflies instead of a full three. Raise the price a little if you need to and give us the full third butterfly.

I was told the curds were battered when I asked what kind they have and was obviously I given incorrect information. At least they weren't greasy like cornmeal breaded curds tend to be. The potato pancakes were paper thin and looked a little overcooked, but didn't taste like it. Even though I got potato pancakes they still put a few fries on my plate, which was odd. The batter on the fish crumbled apart very easily, was a bit greasy, and didn't have a vodka beer flavor like the menu describes. I thought the service was slow and inattentive. I had to bring our glasses up to the bar to get refills on our drinks and it took quite a while for our food to come out even though they weren't super busy. I didn't want to bother with the refill of fish, so they were able to make my meal a two piece dinner for $13 instead of the all you can eat for $17. I don't foresee coming back.
