I wish every every restaurant would serve the right kind like Nuckleheadz does, but I guess that's one of the things that makes Nuckleheadz special. Speaking of special, I LOVE it when the breading on fish has herbs and/or spices mixed in. It just gives the fish a little something extra. The herbs that Nuckleheadz puts in the batter they use on their cod (maybe their other fish too, I'm not sure) are phenomenal. I'm not usually big on cod, but I'm big on their cod because of it. On my most recent visit, we were on the lake and decided to pull up to the dock and walk across the street to visit with friends who were at the bar. There is no signage on the lake so I guess you just have to know where to go. A quick walk up the hill and across the street and you find yourself in a little slice of Wisconsin complete with an outdoor volleyball court and I think they were playing cornhole on the day I was there. Drinks are well poured and the beer is cold and flowing. What else do you need in Summer in WI?
