    The Perfect Breakfast Sandwich
    Bryan W.

This sandwich was a really good and as expected The waffle was nicely cooked, and the ham was grilled to perfection. The staff was warm and friendly, adding to the positive experience. However, my main gripe is the upcharge for '100% real maple syrup,' only to find a container of Mrs. Butterworth's in the to-go box pure corn syrup! This feels deceptive and raises some questions about the place's integrity.

The chilaquiles were so amazing. The French press coffee is a must! The pancakes are huge and so yummy! Hash browns and bacon were great, too! The rooftop patio was terrific! Our server was quite friendly!

The staff at Brunch are so helpful, kind and funny! Our group came in after a long morning at the pumpkin farms and we were quite peckish. Our hostess was amazing and very attentive. We ordered party service mimosas for the table (yummy, of course) and I grabbed an avocado toast. Very solid food and an excellent place to enjoy a brunch before/after you've explored the very scenic historic Cedarburg.

Great to see this restaurant nestled into Cedarburg. A solid spot for locals to get their brunch fix. The restaurant has an enjoyable atmosphere, especially the rooftop terrace which we had the pleasure of dining on. The overall experience was A-OK. Service was friendly, food was pretty good, but I'd say it's a bit over-priced. I had the quinoa power bowl, and though it was statiating, it kind of lacked flavor. I found myself needing to added plenty of salt and hot sauce to get more out of the dish. The bowl was made of up rice and quinoa, breakfast potatoes (though limited), avocado, turkey sausage, and eggs. Likely wouldn't order this again. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, and though he of course finished his plate, he did note he wished the waffles were crispier. Our friend had the croissanwich and mentioned it could use a bit more flavor as well. Great concept though - toasted buttery croissant with choice of meat, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese. The last dish at our table was my son's chicken tender meal. This was ordered from the kid's menu but do not be fooled, this is a massive meal! Easily serves three kiddos. Great tasting chicken tenders though so we took most of it home. All in all, wouldn't say our meals were anything to write home about, but I wouldn't let them put me off from coming back to try something different. They have plenty of menu items, including tasty-sounding drinks we didn't have a chance to explore. My friend also mentioned the rooftop turns into a fun little cocktail spot that does live music. Will have to come back and check that out.

Highly recommend the quinoa/rice burrito bowl with grilled chicken, corn, avocado, pickled onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. We were a larger group of 7 and there surprised it was busy, being July 3rd. We were expecting more of a crowd due to the holiday. The service was slow unfortunately. The food was great. My husband got the avocado BLT sandwich and I got the burrito bowl. His came with waffle fries. My burrito bowl was very good and I'd get it again. Definitely keep the vinaigrette on the side, as there is enough salt and flavoring in the chicken and ingredients, and I loved the textures - especially the crunch of the quinoa. The prices are fine. I would give 5 stars if the service were better. We sat outside, putting two tables together, and unfortunately had to keep one umbrella closed which obstructed conversation.

The patio was vibe and they have mimosa and Bloody Mary flights! So many food options and they were all delicious. Kid friendly as well.

The food was alright but it was a little bit cold. Our service was on quick though which was good because we had kids. It atmosphere is kinda loud and echoey so it gets kinda loud. All in all average rating would not go out of your way to eat there.

    Over cooked French toast sticks

I really wanted to love this newish spot in Cedarburg but it unfortunately fell short. This was my second time visiting, the first time wasn't great but it was new at the time so I figured I'd give it another try. The meal was fine, not bad but not particularly good. It is very expensive for the quality and quantity you receive. I got the chicken and waffles and it tasted like your average toaster waffle and chicken from any given package. We also got the French toast sticks which were good last time I ordered but over cooked and burnt this time. Someone at our table got the burrata toast which sounds amazing but again was all stuff just straight out of the package, for a price of $20! No creativity and nothing special. Others at our table had the lemon berry pancakes which were as expected. Our waitress was not very attentive and not particularly friendly which made the whole experience even worse. There are much better options in Cedarburg.Unfortunately this misses the mark again.

I visited the restaurant in Milwaukee location before which was underwhelming, so I wanted to give this new location a try. I like the good lighting and open space, and plenty of outdoor space. The service is good but it was hard to get a waitress when we needed something. The food is what get lower rating. I ordered the chicken and waffle, felt the chicken is a big soggy and salty. But they do have good sauce tho!

Fantastic service and excellent food! Great variety too! We enjoyed the Benedict and Chorizo as well. Maybe teapots for tea only suggestion...

The food was ok, but considering the price it did not hit the mark. The seating area is good, but the service needs some work.

One thing that's great about this spot is that they offer all of their drinks as 0 ABV so it makes it super easy and enjoyable for those who are not drinking to still feel catered to and can enjoy a fancy beverage - however I will note that they are as pricey as the cocktails since they use a fancy alcohol in the drinks that is zero proof! Service is super easy ordering at the counter indoors and you can peruse and look at all of the cute curated items, books & records while you wait. The outdoor seating is ample and lovely with their giant striped umbrellas and blue Adirondack chairs as well as other seating options - and fire pits for when the weather turns chilly! Overall love this spot and will continue to pop in when we have the chance.

Set inside a historic bed and breakfast, The Five20 Social Stop is like something you'd see in a Hallmark movie set in a sweet little town. So welcoming and inviting, we were immediately comfortable. The room is small with vintage rock/stone walls. The antique bar fits the room perfectly. Warm lighting with whimsical decor, the whole vibe is reminiscent of an antique lodge. There were just a few people enjoying the live music - a duo singing classic tunes. They sounded fantastic! Given we are in the middle of a pandemic I was surprised they offered live music and relieved everyone was spaced out. It was my friend's birthday so they sang Happy Birthday along with everyone in the entire pub! I later found out that the singer was one of the owners. The woman at the table across the way was his wife and was the other owner. This husband and wife duo could not have been more gracious and hospitable. I noticed that there was an air purifier right next to our table which made me feel a little better. I wasn't sure I wanted to socialize quite as much as we were doing, but it was my friend's birthday so we kept our masks on and enjoyed a few songs before we headed out. Once the crazy virus gets under control, I would love to come back and stay at this dear little bed and breakfast situated in the heart of downtown on their main street. It would be perfect for a romantic get away, a girlfriend's weekend or a family vacation. I plan on enjoying their authentic little pub every night that I'm there. During warm weather they have a great outdoor patio in the back and offer live music out there. I am very much looking forward to returning because of the quaint atmosphere, delicious cocktails, talented entertainment and kind owners!

So, very interesting building and space. There appears to be a fun patio area for the summer months and there's a big screen tv that I'm guessing shows sporting events. My review for atmosphere would be 4-5 stars. Unfortunately too much time doing nothing but waiting and looking around killed the visit. I was there on a Saturday at the noon hour. It was not exceptionally busy, especially for the space they have. We were just there to get a coffee and go. Should be in/out in a few minutes right? Wrong, there was one girl managing the counter and two guys visible in the back area. We waited a full 10 minutes at the counter while the girl took one order ahead of ours. I was getting the this is going to take forever vibe and would have left, but we weren't in a hurry and my wife wanted to try the coffee. So once our order was placed and paid for we proceeded to wait another 20 minutes for two drinks and a scone. In that time the counter girl certainly kept moving, although not with any deliberate speed. The two guys in the kitchen did not come out to help her at all and when delivering only two plates to tables did so at a snail's pace. The place really wasn't busy, but the staff they had struggled mightily to keep pace. This is similar to what my friend reports experiencing time and again. To give credit the counter person did apologize for the wait time to place our order and apologized again for the wait to receive our order. So the drinks (coffee and a chai) were average and the blueberry scone was on the dry side of mid. All in all, really nice atmosphere and decorations. Maybe a place to bring your own drink in, because you may not get one from them for awhile. Definitely not a good place to stop if you are in a rush to get somewhere else.
