The ribs were so tender and the sauce was amazing! I love their take on onion soup, it feels so hearty and less sweet than a regular French onion soup. It's a pretty small space so it can be a little loud and they fill up quickly so make sure to make a reservation. I definitely will be back thanks to the food and incredible service!

And how fun and incredible our waitress, Nora is! We had the shrimp and ribs special with baked potato. Started with a delicious chicken dumpling soup and excellent white wines. Then the fall off the bone ribs and nice size fried shrimp came. Everything was done perfectly and brought out quickly by our most skilled waitress we have seen in decades. She didn't miss a thing. Every detail thought of. No wonder drinks are named after her. So we tried her signature nutty Nora after dinner drink-sooo good! We are planning to come back tomorrow too! And come with my husband next visit.

They need to have an online reservation system. Calling ahead is fine but with no many people answering the phone reservations get messed up. My kids love the show the Chef puts on - he flings vegetables into everyone's mouths - or at least try's to! He does an adult type drink squirt into your moth if you wish from afar. He then used a little boy peeing bottle and shoots water into kids mouths - it's fun and the reason my kids love going there once a year on our annual trip. The things I noticed this year is the portions are not as plentiful as they were in 2018-2020. The server we had was very slow and either didn't know the menu or substitutions really ate no longer allowed. Which makes no Sense - we wanted to substitute the noodles for white rice and said we could not. A side of noodles is $4 and a side of white rice is $2 so don't see why we couldn't substitute down. Kids had to pay for two sides of white rice even when they said they didn't want the noodles. Also asked for Some sriracha suave and server came out with a small to go cup of sweat and sour and said it will cost $1 for the sauce ???? The cup was like a small Jell-O shot with a lid. So unsure if they are trying to nickel and dime their customers. They did do a nice birthday presentation that was free and threw in ice cream for my daughter which was very nice. I guess at the end of the day you have to balance what you prefer - a good show and good birthday celebration or a small meal with anticipated add ons.

Plenty of parking in the lot attached to this spot! The interior is small, but very nicely done! It was VERY festive for the holiday season! I understand it was the night before a holiday, but they were definitely understaffed. The three staff members (2 servers and a bartender) were, at times, sprinting through the restaurant to keep everyone happy! They did it with a smile too! Kudos to them, but management should help them out with additional staff on busy days. (We had a reservation for 10 people, they knew it was going to be busy). The food and drinks were alright...the Brandy Old Fashioneds weren't very boozy and the fish fry, while cooked well, didn't have any special flavor. We also waited almost an hour for our appetizers: cheese curds, calamari fries, and zucchini blossoms. I will say that the broasted chicken looked very good, but I didn't have any! Overall, a good bar if you're in the area and wanted some drinks/food but I don't know that it's worth a special trip!

This is usually a good sign in my book. After being pleasantly greeted after walking in, I saw a lot of the wait staff and the bartenders like busy bees.... All of them seemed to be in a happy mood. We were ushered to our table in the large dining area. Pictures posted by others were accurate. Several larger groups of 8+ were around and the room was a buzz of chatter.... Not too loud, just right. Our server Nicole gave us some time to read thru the menus and we ordered after a bit. Since it was Friday night, we chose the fish fry, my wife the beer battered cod, myself the peach. While we waiting we enjoyed view out the large glass windows that overlooked the lake and saw the pontoon boat launch and return with guests, the free ride around the lake with Captain Max (who by the way had some great stories to share on our trip, a couple seemed pretty fishy). Our dinner arrived what seemed like eternity, however being patient was rewarding.... Both selections of fish were awesome... some of the best beer battered cod and perch we've had across a dozen counties. Guys, it's worth it. All around the staff was great, the view during diner was excellent, and the boat ride was like icing on the famous carrot cake they serve.... My only downgrade on the experience was the very long wait for dinner. It turned out to be well worth it, however for fried fish, well beyond my expectations on time. Now.... It's your turn to make a reservation....

Plenty of parking in the dedicated lot outside! Now, for a cafe named GoodDay, the interior is a bit of a drab...gray walls, monochromatic artwork, and corrugated steel accents allude to Farmhouse chic, but miss the mark. I'd love to see them liven up the space a bit! Service was overwhelmed during our visit, which I never fault the servers themselves, but do think the business could have staffed better on a Saturday brunch rush. It took a long time to receive water and get our orders placed, while the food came out quite quickly once we did order. The food itself was great! The skillet ACTUALLY came served in a skillet, which is a must for me! Sizeable portion of steak, veggies, and cheese atop chopped red potatoes! I'd absolutely order again!

There are some windows in the front that offer natural light, but I would have preferred more. A couple of TVs are mounted on the walls showing daytime TV programs (not a fan of those either). Got a booth by the front wall. We received our waters and placed orders for yogurt parfaits. The food came out in short order. There was a good amount of yogurt, fruit, granola, and a bit of honey drizzle. The presentation looked like someone was in a big hurry (maybe arrange the different parts together instead of piling everything on?) Our server was efficient but not especially friendly -- not much of a greeting or a smile. Maybe they were having a bad day? Overall, I would rate the experience as "okay" -- not nearly good enough to make me want to come back.
